Torque vs. power – at the Arona 1.5

A topic for the technology nerds among us (in this case I don’t count myself): How can I get past the truck faster: If I set up at 80 km/h with 1,500-2,000 rpm, or if I switch to the 3rd gear before that? I guess, the latter will get me ahead faster, right? Otherwise, a VDU would not switch back at the full-gas-geben in the above mentioned range…
