Hello everyone. After it has become cold now and my heater has once again a flame break or flame failure, I suspect once again my compfort battery. Note: As written in other threads, the VW workshop has changed half the heater to Kulanz last winter. After probably the previous owner has already got the complete heater new before. If it is warmer or the engine runs, the heater works without any problems and runs longer. Now to my problem: Last after 400 km of highway and plenty of light 5 minutes of residual heat usage only 11.8 volts and shutting off the residual heat due to undervoltage (display in the display). Tonight with CETEK charger charged and this morning only 12.1 volts (the voltage over the OBD interface with the OBDeleven app read out) or 12.6 volts(directly to the poles). Charging voltage 14.1 volts when the engine runs. The battery is a Varta, AH I can’t recognize. On the Minuspol stands 30 13. If the production week can’t be the part of the 2013 when the battery is still weak. If the middle of the battery is still has a few years.
