Hello. Will buy a Mini Convertible in Italy, R52 for 6,500 Euro. I know, there’s a lot of it in Germany. But look for one with DSC and these are rather rare. In addition with guarantee, new service and sought-after color combi. Now it’s more of a blind buy, I trust the dealer. Two questions: 1.The dealer says, he provides the transcription marks, so I can transfer the Cooper on my own axis. I try to take into account as much as possible in the contract (I transfer 2,000,- in advance and 4,500,- on the spot at collection), but please for experiences/tips, which should still be taken into account. 2. For the purchase contract he needs a copy of my identity card. I feel uncomfortable to send them, than to transfer 2,000,- in advance… am I doing this unnecessarily? someone else has a hint, what should I pay attention to when buying and transferring a car from Italy? CoC to avoid TÜV full acceptance is clear. I will have a contract reread by an Italian friend. And otherwise? Greetings Flaco
