A new D5 engine for the models S60, V70, XC70, S80 and XC90 is announced in the 2005 car year of the last “Auto, Motor and Sport” (from 24.11.2004) for May ’05. In the text section of the same edition it is stated on p. 26: “From May a new top version with 185 hp will make the five-cylinder diesel more steam.” “Auto-Bild” (from 03.12.2004) exceeds itself almost with long-term news, but also writes at least (on p. 70): “The large diesel is to be increased in two stages. In 2005 the 185 hp variant starts, in 2007 the measuring bar is already at 225 hp.” So something seems to be wrong.
