Hello all, I happened to come across a YT video of MIK engines, where they tell about the oil pump problem, which I hear for the first time. Well, the pump is supposed to pump too little oil, which causes the engine to clap or even suffer a motor damage later. MIK engines advertises for their own oil pump, which is supposed to pump enough oil for the engine. Can someone tell me how this actually is with the oil pump at VW, and whether the oil pump of MIK engines is actually something good? I myself have a 1.4tsi from the year 2013, and it also rattles, but only at the cold start. After 3min it’s gone. Do many drivers probably have the engine and year of construction. Could probably arise from too little oil pressure? Greetings
