long-term suitable, reliable, affordable

Hello! It would be great if you could help me with your knowledge a little bit. Short history I had put my Golf 4 1.9TDI 330.000km highline on the internet for 3300€ for sale a few weeks ago. Now someone from France has registered to buy the car for 280€ (ggfl 3000€). First of all, the question now arises: sell or drive to death? (except for the bike camp there is nothing that is occasionally damaged. It is usually moderate and not highly touring) Bi Sher was my tendency to sell the car at such an offer in order to avoid the possible turbo damage or engine damage. Second, I think now which car I would buy then…. it should… … best cost up to 4000€, at most 500€ would be possible. … be as reliable as possible (not worse than the golf) … the reperatures should be favorable (where I usually go to a well-known screwdriver anyway) … avoid the loss of value as far as possible and la be a diesel or lpg (I’m driving around the 30tkm/year I don’t care about brands now, but I like it when it feels good inside, like for example Golf 4. (I don’t feel good about golf 5 or 6 as well) But it’s the most unimportant criterion now. It would be best if your models suggested, then I might be able to pick out a few specific offers. I’m completely open! Thank you very much already
