Hello, the following happened to me last week : When I was driving on the main road, a car came from the left and I had to make full braking. At the same time the car came so close that it hit emotionally (left door at the back) The driver of the other car inserted the reverse gear after the collision and drove a few meters back. When I got out of my vehicle (totally shocked!) one could no longer be sure whether she drove me into the side. I have to say that it was almost 11 p.m. and rained. It was not possible to detect any damage on the spot. So registration marks and insurance name, etc. were written down. On the next morning I discover on my car 2 small scratches at the door, where the vehicle of the accident opponent should have hit me. However, the accident opponent denies having touched my vehicle! However, she admits to your faults in the matter (previous) Now I have My question: These scratches were definitely not there a week ago, because I polished the car. But now I don’t know exactly whether they came from her vehicle or if they were created a day before. Can I be punished if it should come out that this damage to the vehicle (e.g. from the height) should not fit ? PS: if the woman had left immediately and thus not driven back a few meters, one could immediately report this damage to her insurance company. find out if she has caused this damage and so I am at the moment perplexed What would you do with 2 smaller (but down to the metal deep) scratches in the described situation ? Gruss Andre
