It has been said that with our Volvo all-wheel (especially XC70/XC90) we can easily rush through field, forest and meadow paths (peel groups and mud trails you prefer to leave away), but what does it look like in winter with snow? Volvo all-wheel looks like, if on the front wheels slip, then the rear wheels turn on. Up and in the plain even in loose snow there are hardly any problems (provided for proper tyres) – but downhill, there are at most brakes but no slip, so also little all-wheel effect (manually you can’t lock anything). Does someone have experience with his Volvo all-wheel in the snow? With us in the lowlands there are hardly any, but one would like to go to the mountains once in the winter holidays. ros
