Hello dear XC90 driver and Volvo friends, after 10 years BMW X5 3 years ago I decided for an XC90 2 D5. He is now about 3 1/4 driving old. By November 2020 everything was good and I was satisfied. During the inspections no complaints, little tire wear etc. but then suddenly, seat heating at the driver’s seat is no longer possible, operation on the steering wheel for the audio control is no longer possible and the buckle belt on the driver’s side is worn out at the buckle. At the inspection in December I then noted all this. Result: Necessity of a second appointment for analysis. Result of second appointment: – electric short circuit in the control unit or seat heater. Does therefore also the broken operation on the steering wheel come therefore? Statement dealer: It can be broken times something! ?? For fast 2000€ for a car with a new price of approx. 80.000€, age of 3 years and approx. 46,000Km. … well of course! – culant request at Volvo. Volvo would take over 30% if the dealer takes over also 30%… but he does not make it all the trouble?
