again: Exhaust flap 3.2 we had already discussed this before, but unfortunately I don’t find the corresponding thread any more. I put out the flap control today. here in the forum it was said that the bass-heavy sound vanishes. I can’t confirm that. he is no longer quiet at the bottom, but grumbles at a low speed quite loudly, i.e. if one “rolls” through the city at 30, he bubbberts really nice in front of him. if one gives fire, the bass still something and so about from 3000 tours he roars up (which is also the case with flap). now for me the question arises again about the meaning of this flap… as I see it now is actually only in order to keep the noise nuisance at low speeds/speeds within limits or to comply with legal regulations, because as said nothing changes at the sound, but he just gets louder “downside”. or do you see the other way? please again your opinions about the topic… especially if someone has to consider about damage to the engine, more consumption or something like that, because I don’t know if the engine might need some kind of backlog or something. performance is the same as far as I can feel that in any case.
