Hello guys, since I’m about to be 18 and so slowly looking for cars I would like to know your opinions on various ideas that I have. First of all, I have a budget of about 7500 – 800€, but I wouldn’t be angry about it if it got a little less, but I would still have a little bit of insurance and what happens. I would generally be interested in cars of the 70s and 80s, i.e. Granada, Capri, Rekord D (C would be good but maybe one way to go). My dream car would be the BMW E24, but I think it’s a bit expensive for a trainee or? A garage I would have available, especially many kilometers will probably not come together (working distance of 2 km, which I don’t always need the car for). Maintenance should not be too expensive, but it should not be too expensive for me. because less fuel consumption is important than the cost of spare parts (which of course have to be available for the time being, I would be grateful for advice) or maintenance and of course insurance, whereby I can insure the car on my father, who still has a contract with high SF-Class which will become free, so that should be kept within limits. However, I still have a motorcycle, but it is quite a savings box that should not be the problem. I don’t really know about the car screw, but I’m a trainee mechatronics technician, so in principle I’m not completely unaware of the technical aspect and that my father learned car mechanics in the 80s… So let’s call it learning 🙂 . The car would be moved 12 months a year, although as already mentioned, not very much. So that’s my points: if this is the case… To drive a car all year round, and to kill me afterwards in the maintenance costs or to keep it half-way in the frame? (That it is more expensive than a VW Golf 4 I know of course…). And does someone have special model recommendations? Thanks already for advice!

New Car Golf Kombi, Opel Insignia Sportstourter, VW Passat Kombi
Hello Together, I am 33 years old and expect to have a new generation with my girlfriend in January. I have been driving a golf 4 petrol with 100 Ps for 6 years. I am very satisfied with the car but it has to be a new car next year…only which brand? Important to me is more space therefore it should be a combo..had the Golf 6 combo in mind do I also like the Insignia u Astra Sportstourer, also the VW passat kombi. Very important to me is a trailer coupling which seems to be zb at Ins ignia almost not to be given. Further basic data that pre-fabricated for me From year of construction 2010 up Highest 100,000 km Seat clearance CD player More Ps I want to come from the spot and also have driving fun I drive in the year at most 10,000 km already drive a diesel and I like the spritzigkeit very I know I have little km that is not worth the diesel but makes just more fun I don’t want to swallow a petroler with 170 ps but12 liters…what costs the one diesel more a n tax u insurance or is it generally harmful to drive a diesel with so little km because it is not good for him? My budget is between 10,000 and 15,000 euros.. What do you think you can advise me about or speak from experience? I thank you very much.

Audi A6 (C6 or 4F) Facelift or Audi A4 B8 Pre-Facelift
Hi, I need a new used station wagon and can’t really decide between the two in the subject. Had an A6 2.0 TDI as a pre-facelift and was completely satisfied. But now I drove an A4 B8 ambition (from 2010) and found it a lot more sporty. However, the smaller interior speaks against the A4 again. Actually, my next one should have an automatic, but I have read everywhere that one of the combination Diesel/Multitronic And just because of the Tiptronic to buy an all-wheeler is then perhaps a bit exaggerated. Gasoline definitely does not come into question. So I decided no matter if A6 or A4 for the 2.0 TDI as switch. MMI with color display and Navi is a must. Xenon would be “nice to have”. Both vehicles are quite the same price. Both are from 2009 and 2010 with approx. 100.000km to 15,000 Euro. Maybe you can still give me decisive advantages or disadvantages ne can I make it easier for me to decide?

Legroom XC90 5/7 seater …and 3.2 engine
Hello, in the price list for the XC90, a smaller legroom is given for the 7 seater at the rear than for the 5-seater. Is this because the 2nd row has to be pushed forward, so that there is enough space in the 3rd row? Or otherwise asked, if the 7 seater is only used as a 5-seater, is the legroom smaller by the 3rd row folded forward than for the pure 5-seater? That’s what I failed to clarify when I did a test ride with a 3.2 momentum today (g Is it just 1 year old very inexpensive as “service car”=rental car, so from 30,000.- to 34.000.-). He should replace the current V40 2.0T CLE wg. place etc. But not with this engine, from which everyone who knows the great Volvo Softturbos will turn away with horrors. Ok, you get somewhere, mostly so quiet, but until you have reached the desired speed, that does not make any joy. I don’t know with the V40 more than 2* annually over in the 3.2 unpleasantly noisy 5,000 U/m Is not comparable wg. weight, engine concept etc, but with an otherwise all-round superior car like the XC90 I completely lacked this sovereignty with the engine. The ratio practically usable power/consumption is somehow not so good…;-) It will then probably run out of the V8 with LPG, with which I last year at about gllei In addition, we have used up 1/2 l to BC less. Because you can easily make good progress without full throttle or softturbo, with a nice sound.

coupling xc90 2,5t
Hello since november I have now and then the problem that the coupling slips through during the strong acceleration. (xc90 2.5 t 6-speed switch 60.000km) anyway I always had the impression that the coupling is very “partial” without exact pressure point. the coupling was actually only taken one time properly when I had 2.5 tons on the hook and had to drive backwards my court entrance. to such rides I usually take our jeep grand cherokee, but that was just under egs. after driving up (with grinding clutch) you smelled the clutch a little. however, I have never had such problems with other vehicles with the clutch if I had a heavy trailer on it. can you “replace” the clutch or did I offend it irreparably? is the clutch in xc90 generally very poorly designed? gruss daniel

XC90 or Q7 or more Landy
Good morning, all a good new year! I’m new here in the forum, but I’ve read more about it, and naturally only confirm that the Volvo driving are at the most pleasant. (slim) I’ve been living in Germany for a few years, come originally from Norway and am an enthusiastic Volvo XC90 driver. Probably it’s an old boring topic again, but I still want to ask you a bit of expertise. I’m going to leave the company and work as a freelancer and therefore must with 3 children of which 2 in child seat, the selection is quite narrow: XC90 favorite, still, unfortunately a little bit aged in the middle. Q7 Not quite sure, I find a little bit of “La Matina” “Dear a thick car as a beautiful house” Auto Discovery, not bad at all, super chassis, panorama roof, engine maybe a little lame, however from early years also with new Jag Diesel (220hp) and LED backlights. X5, not yet from the inside. Seen, the 2 seats in the back dive what? Would someone of you order an XC90 again, or rather order something ‘newer’. I find the color Ember Black quite cute, does anyone of this ‘live’ pictures? Rather Chesnut Braun or Inscription Toscana again, whereby I also liked Inscription Calcit Cream with Sandstone/Espresso interior very well (but with 3 children?) This time I would, if I ordered, sometimes order Rear Seat Entertainment, has someone here experienced? D5 or 3.2 ? With fuel card, I don’t care about fuel prices, V8 is out of the question.

Clear position lamps V70 D5 II front
Hello, there is for the V70 II model year 2005 for the orange (are integrated in the headlight front) a set that are transparent, i.e., that can be operated with an orange pear. If yes, you have to change the whole headlight, or can you make there? 😉 I find the orange glasses so something of “old cheeks”. Would I be very pleased about your answers. Greeting Pat

Meaningful motorization?
Hello, I know there are already countless purchase advices here, but this is my first post here and unfortunately I did not find much helpful on this topic. Very short to me: I am 22 years young, currently in education, at the end of the year student. Search now a V or S40, because on the one hand I need a new vehicle to get to work (the old one is returned) and on the other hand to transport two medium-sized dogs. I drive routes to 80% city, however häu fig before the traffic lights are already on but still short (<8km) and 19% highway and 1%AB with a total output of approx. 8000km per year. Not much so. I would like to spend for the car so 2-3000€ at a current mileage of max. 175000km. Since here only one petrol "remunerated", would interest me now, which engine variant was most suitable for me? The selection is not so small with the cars... For recommendations and advice I am always grateful. Greetings from Au gsburg P.S.: He doesn't have to be fun. But if he does, it's not bad either. But first and foremost, he has to be practical, "sparable" and reliable.
