  • Problems with Petzoldt ́s cleaning knead

    At Petzoldt ́s I bought the cleaning knete in the set. Delivery went super fast I hoped that my paint would be nice smooth. At least several of them advised me to try out the dough. The dough is quite hard. I started to walk over my car with it. I sprayed some dry cleaner (glide from the set) on the paint and found it with the dough. However, the dough slipped away. I then tried the whole thing again without the cleaner. I went over the paint with the dough. Was quite difficult. Luckily only tested it in a small place, because after the action I had many prints on the paint which I got away very hard. Unfortunately, the whole action has nothing. The paint still feels as rough as before Can one give me a hint? Did I do something wrong?

  • Upgrade new car, second car or gas?

    Need your help I have to choose a solution right now. I have a Ford Focus from 1999 and I am really satisfied with it.   • Best insect removal paint?!

  • Find the optimal faux leather for drying

    I always had an artificial leather from Vinalon for drying, which I have now unfortunately lost. The thing was already 20 years old, but it was optimal for drying. It dried the paint really completely, i.e. there were no water residue left. And it was very easy to move over the paint. After I had lost it now, I bought two other artificial leathers, one from Apa, the other from Sonax. Both looked like the old leather, both are in such a quiver. , and both do absolutely nothing. You don’t get the paint properly dry, there is always a water residue left behind. I don’t want to have to go over it with a towel or the like in addition to the leather. In addition, both cloths “block”, i.e. they stick to the paint, so you can’t really wipe over it. I don’t want a natural leather, because it also leaves water residues and other products like a rubber lip (aquablade) or MF cloths I don’t want either. The search function on the topic “leather” mainly brings contributions to leather seats. Does someone know an artificial leather for drying, which meets the two points – no water residue, so really absolutely dry – easy moving over the paint surface without “blocking”?
