Hello, today I would like to apply Jetseal 109 to my aluminium rims in the basement. The problem: I have no suitable Pre Cleaner that would be suitable for Syntetik seals What else can I take to prepare the clean rims for it. Lime Prime would have me, only it contains oil… can I take that if I take the oils with an APC and MFT afterwards? or can I use Meguiars Final Inspection or a mild rim cleaner solution (CG Diablo Gel and CG Sticky Gel Citrus are available to choose from) or a shampoo solution… CG Glossworkz Or am I thinking too much? Thank you for your help

Grinding the brake drum
Sooo, so now I can repair the scooter from the child. A lady had driven it over while parking. Now I noticed after a test drive that the rear brake does not reach correctly. The pads are changed, but makes no difference. When the full pass it simply continues and needs 50m at approx.30Kmh. I want to take the whole apart now and roughen the drum inside with 120er sandpaper, I did not do that for a very long time. is it still up?

Small grey hose, petrol runs out when starting (after change of belt)
Moin Moin; I have successfully changed the wedges. Thanks to the forum now I have screwed the flap again where the strap is hidden. Like the devil I have a part about… a small grey hose, at the end of which is a screw (so at the end of the hose is a part of iron where a screw is inside.. the hose was previously attached to the cap with a clamp. Problem: wanted to start the scooter but when trying to turn on the (estarter) he loses benz in. It’s going to be dark but I can’t find the place where the hose is running… can someone tell me what this is and where it’s going? Thanks in advance mfg Werner

Yamaha Cygnus X drives a maximum of 60 kmH despite 2 workshop visits
The scooter is from 2006, the following has been done so far according to the workshop, but this did not help with the speed: new caliper, new brake disc, ventilated brake, Vario rollers replaced, Vario belt tested, carburettor cleaning(ultrasound), carburettor Discontinued, new alternator installed, new battery, spark plug cleaned Has come to its 95km/h until about 4 months ago, then from one day to the other not immediately: He only ran warm had really accelerated again, before 40 km/h Then about 2 months ago he didn’t come over the 40 km/h anymore. After the workshop he came back to about 60km/h, but with the same lame acceleration as 2 months ago, uphill I can’t get over 45km/h The workshop now said that I should “take in” the scooter a little bit more the problem arises, or what else they could do would be to change the ignition coil, but I have here with you or on sonsite Google left abso Does not see anywhere that ignition coils have been proposed to change in the event of acceleration/speed problems. Therefore, I would like to know if it could be because of it, or what else could it be?

Purchase advice 125-250ccm scooter
Hello together, I know there are many of these topics, but somehow I did not find any current, suitable for me. So excuse me for probably similar questions on my part. 🙂 Frame data: 24 years, Student, Munich Budget: if possible, 1,500 Euro, if necessary also 2,000 Euro Area of use: City and Überland, possibly even a piece of highway Ticket: up to 48 HP Experience on two-wheel drive park: 50s Gilera Stalker as well as Yamaha SR500 Despite motorcycle has m I infected the 50s with the scooter virus, which is why I’m now looking for something bigger. China crashers fall out with me, find something solid, which also lasts a few years. Screwdrivers also go small things, but as “experienced” I wouldn’t call myself at all. Was also once to sniff at the dealer, who needed however only a Honda SH150 for 1,800 euros from 09 with 23,000 km, which seems to me a little too expensive, since. Would also have a tick more disguise. So, I search through mobile and look forward to the one or other helpful answer and thank you for reading through Many Greetings, Facksen

Paragraph 18(12) of the Motor Vehicle Tax Act (LKWs)
Hi today came post from the customs office Münster, my car tax notice for the truck open box F100 of 1960, reason for the calculation is the §18 paragraph12 of the car tax law, namely 1470€ for the 5,7ltr. I once objected and gave the documents to my lawyer to check, the joke is in January14 I still paid the tax for the Camino and it was classified according to §9 paragraph 3, so by total mass. Nu the gentlemen have found a new loophole around us I’ll tell you more, or is there any one who’s complaining about it? salutes Klaus

Urgently need tips and advice for my Pontiac Firebird V6 1991
Hello Together, First a few words about me and my US car, I drive a Pontiac Firebird V6 with 3.3 l capacity, built in 1991. I own this vehicle now a scarce year and I am so happy with my fire bird. Now to my question: I would like to go with my Firebird on vacation to Spain and wanted to know about you (so also the question here in the Camaro Forum, because in principle identical ) what should I have checked before starting my trip or renew or what do you have to pay attention to ? What about the reliability on long distances with the Firebird or does it cause problems or could it become critical ? Would be happy for any advice and experience of any kind ! As said so far am very satisfied but have not really driven much with my Firebird yet … Thank you already in advance, hope for much meaningful and helpful posts ! 🙂 Greetings your FirebirdV6er

USA: Where to rent a car with 18?
Hoi, I don’t know if I’m right here in the US-Car Forum, if not, then deletes or shifts the thread again. BTT: 2 buddies and I (all 3 18) plan a small U.S. tour after the Abi. Where can you get a rental car in NY, which can be returned: 1) in Chicago 2) where you can enter “additional drivers”. Nationalcar and Alamo have unfortunately no prices for “additional drivers” in the form. Maybe one of you has had experiences there? at Her tz you can’t add an additional number to 21. Avis is much more expensive than the others Has anyone ever rented a car at Rent-a-wreck? oh yes, one of my buddies is 2m and luggage has to come in, so the very small ones (Spark…ugh) fall away. We know that under 21 will be more expensive, but actually there should be something to find. Thanks
