  • Used cars up to 3000€ for beginners

    Hello dear people, I’m driving my driver’s license and I’m going to buy a car (I can smell the freedom when I’m thinking about driving my own car). I don’t want to or can’t spend more than 3000 euros. Now an acquaintance has recommended me either to look for an Opel or a Peugeot (206). I live in a big city (Vienna), so I’m going to drive there mainly. I also want to take the car on vacation (including holidays). I think I’m going to drive, drive, drive as much as possible. That’s why the car should consume as little as possible (so most likely a diesel?) It will be in the underground garage with me if that’s any decisive factor when buying a car. I will also mostly drive the car alone, have no children or dogs, so the smaller the better (as long as it’s not a cube car) I try to list what’s important to me. : – Cost-effective consumption – Removable rear bench (also wants to be able to transport things again and again, e.g.Ikea) – optics (Peugeot would be nice, Opel would be less…) I really have no idea about cars, so the simpler your answers are written the better! lg from Vienna, Daniel

  • Reliable car that can also overtake up to 11,000,-

    Hello, I am looking for an inexpensive reliable car without much repairs – with pleasant acceleration – maximum 11,000 € as used car or 15,000 € new – sports seats, medium to good equipment – small car or middle class saloon – 5-door would be nice. – Drive about 7,500 km a year, mainly rural road and highway, but the consumption should be already under 8.5 liters. I have been driving diesel almost always and therefore with the acceleration in the low I would like to have a car with which I do not have the fear sweat on my forehead when overtaking the road or on the acceleration strip, because the speedometer needle does not move even though I have switched down a gear. I don’t care about the top speed anyway, I drive at least 140-150 km/h. I have in mind: VW Golf & Polo, Seat Leon, Toyota Yaris also Suzuki Swift or Ford Fiesta. The TSI engines seem to me to be very spoiled. I wouldn’t be particularly reliable at VW when I read through the forums.   • Decision support – BMW E46 325 / Audi A4 B6 8E 1.8T

    Evening together, in the spring I would like to exchange my Astra G (as a coupe) bought in May. With the Astra I simply will not be happy for certain reasons. My search is limited to cars up to a maximum of 700€ (rather less). Finally I am taken to the decision that it should be either one: BMW E46 325 as ti, ci or i or an Audi A4 B6 8E 1.8 T (150 hp). My driving profile is quite simple: – 10-13k kilometers a year, rather short distance I want to announce this If possible, I will drive it until it falls apart. Therefore, it would be important that the car is generally considered robust (in terms of rust, for example – because a technically impeccable car does not benefit me much if everything is rusted through) and reliable. Rear drive and 6 cylinders are of course great advantages for the BMW, but would not be decisive for me. 6 cylinders would be wg. the running culture certainly interesting. But whether my car is driven in the city at the back or in the front, that doesn’t make any difference in my case. I like the interior of the Audi better, looks higher-quality & more modern. For this, it is cheaper in maintenance. These would be the advantages, in my view, on the part of the Audi. How would you decide why? Which car could I be happier with in terms of the requirements that I have mentioned? I thank you in advance!

  • Leasing at Sixt instead of used cars?

    Hello, I have been looking intensively for cheap used cars. However, the insurance costs would be very high with me. I noticed the complete package of Sixt. Sixt offers as I understood a comprehensive insurance for a lump sum amount. In addition, I found there really attractive leasing rates and wanted to ask you what you think about it? Skoda Citigo 1.0 MPI 60PS incl. tax, insurance and maintenance for 150€ per month (36 months 10tkm/p.a.) Alternative is the car also available as a natural gas version for 200€ per month. What do you think about it? Have I overlooked any costs? Which costs come roughly for transfer to me? Did I understand this correctly with the insurance?

So I have a car and I have insurance, but I want to give it to my girlfriend and I buy a new one.   • Season badge or alternative?

    Hello! I still have an old golf I convertible in the garage, whose sale is not worth it (a lot of memories are attached to it).It is unfortunately not possible to use it as a everyday car (child seat attachment, safety, place etc.), but I would like to drive it a few days or weeks in the summer, so to speak to keep it happy – just as a third-party car. Well, huge gestures, the nice fellow citizen claims that I didn’t get into the parking box, but drove out suddenly. Therefore I call our friends in Gün. They also get quite fixed and write an accident report without a lot of Palaver and sit down on one (excuse me, that’s what they tell me). Two witnesses watch the accident and both confirm my version. It seems that this doesn’t matter to the officials. They follow the description of the woman, but I only find out afterwards… A third witness confirms the version of the woman, but was at the time of the accident more than 30 m away and does not want to hand over his personal details. He is sent away. Now I have the hickhack with the insurances. I also have the lawyer. He told me that e What are my chances of getting out without any blame? What do you do? I will take over my first Harley in spring 2019: V-Rod Screaming Eagle CVO, EZ 2006. 5,800 km mileage (proof), My future father-in-law had bought the 2006 used with 5,000km, the 800km mileage in the last 12 years came by the mechanic who brought the machine for the service and the TÜV on his own axle.
