Hello and good morning, I would like to measure the rest pressures on the connections of low and high pressure line myself at the car air conditioning system (without having to use an air conditioning service unit) in order to get an indication of the level of the system. And that is screwed into the connection with a pressure gauge, as in the picture. To the 1st question: The internal thread of the connections (see graphic) are probably different from manufacturer to manufacturer? or is the thread size uniform? Possibility 2: M mount anometer on a quick coupling and determine the pressure on this way. to question 2: Is the quick coupling short-term lost in the installation and loosening of climate gas? (like the tyre filling) Never worked with a quick coupling before. thank you and love

Brake a little tight – definitely change brake discs with?
Hello! It’s about a car in which a front disc brake seems to be heavy. The vehicle was moved on a highway and the driver noticed high-frequency whistle during the ride. On a parking lot she noticed strong smell on the respective side and a hot rim. I bucked it up and, if you push the respective wheel, it stops after 1/2 – 3/4 revolution. The brake disc is not quite smooth, but has feelable grooves ( The vehicle is expected to be delivered by the end of the year due to mileage and age (waste or export). Therefore, it is not planned to invest so much. At the same time, it is clear that safety is taking place – especially in the case of brakes. Now I wanted to overtake the brake piston with a spare kit (otherwise new caliper). Perhaps also on the other side. Normally I would have brake pads and sc But I’m thinking about whether it’s not enough to leave the old windows on it for the few months. The minimum thickness is still there. They’re only about 3 years old. Brake pads must certainly be new, because they are probably glazed on one side. But you can only see that when you have dismantled everything. Do you think that the heat on one side has caused such damage that they now have to be replaced on both sides? Thank you for eu re answers.

Diesel, Aral Ultimate or Shell V Power Diesel?
Hello municipality, for a little over a year I have been a diesel driver and owner for the first time in my career. Do I imagine it, or does it actually bring better running quietness and ignition behavior when driving with Premium Diesel? Thank you for the numerous answers. woka11

Tips for self-construction of brake line replacement?
Moin people, At my old bucket, the Berlingo of 2001, I can’t get around the partial replacement of brake lines anymore. The TÜV has already grumbled the last 2 times, I have always treated and greased them since then but now they are brown and thick on the cable clips. But only the directly under the vehicle. The steel cables and the rear brake hoses are now the last one. Before that there were already new brake pads, a new brake caliper and last winter I had the I have bought the KS-Tools Flarefix Eco, with ATE steel lines and connectors. Probes have already been successful. Is it really easy to do so. Now I’m making brake lines for the first time, can you give me practical tips on what I should pay attention to and what I should not forget? I put on a photo of the sample piece. Now I have 2 questions: 1.: On picture 2 you can see light scratches of d I would put some tough grease under the cable screw to protect it. Or not a good idea? 2.: You remove something (2mm or so) from the coating before you turn around? Otherwise I have to stick it in the bundle. Or whatever? Achso, comments such as “you should have it done in the workshop” are not desired. That just messes up every thread and is counterproductive. Thank you!

C.A.R.B. or EPA compliant catalyst for Pontiac Firebird 3.1l 1992
Hey, I want to build up a new catalyst, because the old one has just been waved through the last AU, and now a leak has arisen between the cat and the exhaust pipe. To do this, I need one of the two catalysts, according to the Rockauto as well as Walker Exhausts:Walker 15735 EPA CompliantWalker 81174 C.A.R.B. Compliant Which cat should I buy now? According to stickers in the bonnet, the vehicle is Federal Emissions Compliant. with the EPA Kat at the AU will fall on the muzzle. On the website of Walker only the C.A.R.B. Kat is spoken of “the right mixture” of metals. That makes me a bit stubborn. Does any of you have experience? And do I need more small parts, such as seals, or really only this flange? Thanks in advance and LG, Denis

Bräcuhte your help–> purchase advice
Hello Bikergemeinde, short to my situation: I already had a 125 appearance at 16 and made my motorcycle lobe last year, am now 19 and drive an F800R. Rented, i.e. 7 months since I am BMW employee, very practical. But after I have returned the thing (in September) I stand before a purchase. The F800R is not in question. Nice to drive for 7 months but that was then also my question to you and your experience: My budget is about 4000€. It’s a bit more sporty than the F800R, lighter, but still I want to stay in the Naked/Streedfight range. PLEASE NO 2-cylinder. Because of the sound, possibly an exhaust system (the better if I say something wrong) and 2. the vibrations (as with my current from 7k tours) really go against the line. So about the 80-120 hp – Please also note because of the throttle. Not too old, so it should already make something optical (if it has to be I can also make my budget et And the most important thing: ABS. Don’t want to miss it. With my Yamaha YZF-R125 at the time I was clean without ABS. Now to you: do you have a flash thought? Or do you think of something? Thank you already in advance! And always good ride!

A question of clothes…
Soon I will drive about 120 km a month a day – no matter what the weather. So proper clothes are obligatory, but they are more than just annoying the day in warm weather. I plan to take my daughters as my model, which also sometimes in mini skirt, a crisp, but thin panties or similar light clothing somewhere woll(t)en. They have motorcycle leather pants in a number larger and wear them above the normal clothes. At the finish is the leatherh ose then take off as quickly as the jacket. I have ordered for this purpose now a too big pants with high waistband and straps, which I want to pull over the summer jeans and take off quickly at the finish. This should work well, even if I will look a little more like Michelin men! 😉 Does one of you have experience with this technique? What do you wear for rainsuits? I think about a two-parter now, but a classic raincomb would go naturally My one-piece raincombs in XXL or 2XL are already barely enough, so they are very scarce and not to be used for the overpants method, because so far I only wear one pants in size 56, i.e. XL, but jackets mostly in XXXL or 3XL. According to the measurement tables a pants in 5XL fits over the jeans with belt and belt buckle and the size I also ordered. Which rainsuits fit over it? Raincomb in 5XL? Or better a two-parter in different sizes for J acke und Hosen? Or like before, simply to prevent fluttering with an additional kidney strap outside around the rain combi and are happy to finally get in and out of the larger station wagon easily? How do you do that, which you also wear a moped pants as an overcoat? Greeting Michael Note: inappropriate or useless postage removed, as well as the articles created in context. Sometimes I must really wonder twindance/MT-moderation

Deletion of car loan prematurely – Savings in interest rates not possible?
Hello all, I had the consideration to repay the completed partial financing of my car prematurely. Goal: Saving interest + no credit debt anymore The credit is composed as follows: Total loan amount + borrowing interest = total amount So I called the bank to send me the documents. Now came the post and somehow the content is not as I would have expected 😛 And I already redeemed 20 out of 59 installments, so the corresponding rests In the letter it is now written that – should I want to redeem the loan prematurely – I would have to transfer the residual amount X + nominal interest rates for the period 02.-30.11.2020 + the pre-due fee of 1 %. A) Actually, the residual amount already includes the nominal interest rates until the end of the term, how can there be extra nominal interest rates for November? B) No interest savings in sight. C) Then I would be stupid if I would trigger the prematurely. e, since I pay on it in that case. In the conditions there is nothing of interest refund, only that the lender is entitled to compensation in case of early repayment (the said max. 1 % of the balance). What are your experiences? Now I’m angry of course that I didn’t pay the same cash … but wanted to leave me a cushion in the account for the case that the fridge or so blesses the temporal,

Question of faith Rain combi…
Hello guys! I’m interested in how your experiences or opinions on raincombs are?! One-piece, two-part, expensive, cheap, or rather the garbage bag? Skin in the keys! Here’s my experience: Had a very cheap 2-part raincomb from Louis, in black, that was so rubber/latex material… looked really porno.. But she went hops at some point and she was too short for me. (Have long size 110, is with leathercombs partly already a problem, with raincombs I bought a Spidi Regenkombi in Blumau (South Tyrol near Bolzano), one-piece bangorange. So real garbage man look, but in nasty weather not just wrong. Is, I think, the largest size I could find, so that with the leg length skins. But otherwise it fits. Unfortunately, both raincombs have/had no inner lining, so the wearing over wet leather is sometimes a bit tedious. What I notice with the one-piece combination also had to: Under certain circumstances the rainwater gathers in the lap, paves a way through the labyrinth zipper and flows thus inward! (the same has happened to me already with a textile pants) That was better with the 2 parts… the jacket was relatively long and I could pull the pants loosely up over the belly button. My conclusion therefore: The next REgenkombi will probably be two parts again, is also bequmer when taking on and off… and the whole best with “under the helmet”-Ka puze… but that seems to only exist with Polo so far. P.S.: It’s only about raincombs(!) about the pros and cons of textile clothes I’m aware of, and we don’t need anyone in this Fred who praises the textilecombs… thank you!
