  • Defeat or partially finance the final rate?

Good day, Mr. Motortalker, I have a little question of faith… Would you pay the final rate of a car balloon financing immediately upon maturity, if the liquid funds, in other words, we say that there were 20,000 euros of savings, then be debt-free and with the now no longer due rate save just this 20,000 euros over a few years, or would you take only a part of this 20,000 euros and say 10,000 euros again over a few years. Then you still have a rate that was about the same as the rate before, but just 10,000 euros more in your pocket, which could then serve for other things, but just with credit… Somehow I don’t agree which variant is the better one… “poor” but debt-free, or “indebted”, but with balances in your account… What do you think?

  • Oil loss scooter Gilera Runner C14

Hello, my Gilera Runner C14 shows a certain oil loss on the engine after long rides. I would like to put this problem off now. Unfortunately, I can’t say exactly where the oil comes from or what it is because it leaves at all. Therefore, I hope for help here in the forum. But now ahead. As I said, it is about a Gilera Runner C14 DT. This stood until last summer about 8 years unused in the open air and was therefore in appropriate condition. I used the last summer and refurbished it. Completely disassembled, cleaned, parts replaced, repainted and reassembled. I have done the following work so far. All rubber hoses (intake nozzles, air intake hose etc.), all petrol lines, exhaust, brake pads front and rear, control bearing, coolant new, brake fluid new, engine oil new, gasoline pump new. The scooter starts easily and drives itself also great. This oil loss, which I can’t exactly locate on the one hand and on the other hand I don’t know how it is created. I have a suspicion about it. But I’d be happy to get an assessment here. Here are some more pictures of my problem. I’m looking forward to a lively exchange, supportive help and wish a sunny Sunday.

  • Roller goes out slowly

Dear forum Got a sym. Actually because it doesn’t pull well anymore. However, since this winter it goes off in the stand and after giving gas. On the first time start it jumps immediately stops cleanly the stationary gas for about 15 seconds, then rotates always slower until it runs out. After that it only goes hard. it follows however the same pattern. When I gas-gebe takes the gas cleanly turns without jerking up also remains at speed but if I let it go back on stationary gas again I’ve cleaned the carburetor so far. I checked the fuel supply. I looked at the belt and tried to twist the mixture and the stand gas screw. They react, however, e.g. with more stand gas, this only hesitates out. I normally repair puchs or old tractors of electronics, unfortunately I have little idea. Mfg Lukas

  • Peugeot Speedfight Roller does not start with new cylinder

Hello, I have a problem with my Peugeot Speedfight 2 50 AC scooter. First of all how it got to the problem. I unfortunately had a piston eater because the oil pump did not work properly. It was an Airsal Sport 70ccm set installed. I bought the scooter with this setup used. The scooter ran perfectly with the setup, so I thought I would buy another Airsal cylinder. I then decided for the T6 Tech Piston 69,7ccm because it applied a little more power can be considered the 70cc sport. Now I installed the piston and it jumped right after the 2 times kicking. So I let the scooter run for about 15 minutes. When I wanted to turn a round with the new cylinder, it did not come from the place. So I gave a short full throttle and it rolled only about 10 cm and stopped again. So my problem is that the scooter with the new piston does not come from the place. What can this be? After all, it ran m I have no experience with scooter tuning as it is my first scooter. I hope you can help me. Here’s the link to my nine cylinder: https://www.racing-planet.de/…uer-peugeot-standing-ac-p-100530-1.html

  • Kymco agility 50 4T does not pull when it is warm

Hello I had my agility 50 one set for inspection or carburetor, valves set as well as the compression test. After the inspection I drove a maximum of 40KM and then the scooter stood for about longer. I wanted to drive again the days after he jumped hard he pulled the first 500m well as long as the engine is still completely cold, as soon as the engine gets a little warm he loses power(so the warmer the engine gets the less power he has) and d has both detonators. can anyone help me what that could be? Mixing screw? carburettor too? Cdi ? Had also the e choke completely exchanged and measured: (directly on the plug to the e Choke) I have AC11.22 Vand DC 843v The battery brings its 12V and if the engine runs with the receiver it has its 14.36V And I had made again the old bezinfilter pure then the detonators or power loss were not so early Thanks in the presupplied mfg sven

  • Calculation (approximate) monthly cost of a “new” car

I’m a student, I don’t have unlimited money at my disposal. I’d like to have a car. (must be financed myself) I have the opportunity to get my grandma’s old car. -> Suzuki Swift, 15 years old, 100,000 km drive, automatic, 45 hp, got green badge (before logging off). I would have to get this one over the TüV. A workshop manager talked about about 500€ to get the TüV tire. Generally, never had great repairs to the car before I think, however, more relevant data for the main topic. I wonder, what would I have to plan a month to finance the car? I would get the car for free, just the upcoming repairs for the TüV. In addition, my grandmother would give me “their” insurance, which is 30-40%. I could only find approximate figures, if I could find out more about the car. are about 150€ insurance quarterly and 80€ taxes annually realistic with the specified data? I would like to pay attention to fuel costs and possible (future) repair costs. So the two main questions would be : 1. What do I have to create monthly aside for taxes and insurance? 2. The indicated car data, is it a good purchase, or should one for any reasons (future legal changes?) Do you prefer not to buy a car? Thanks in advance for answers and opinions

  • Driver under 21 and km crossing at Huk Coburg

Hello, my car is insured with the HUK-Coburg. And my mother is the vehicle owner and policyholder, so she runs on your name and of course she specified that I, so a driver under 21 is driving with it. Is that directly tied to me as a person? That means what if one of my buddies (also under 21 and of course in possession of a driver’s license) drives (for example during the upcoming holiday) and what happens? Does the insurance grip even if he has driven and And then another question the car is given with 9000km/year. What if I exceed this? Or is there a regulation that says up to 25% about it is still ok or similar? Would I be happy about answers and sorry if these questions already existed. PS: Of course you always hope that nothing will happen, but you never know!

  • Cracks in the paint

In my 15 year old Ibiza I have seen that in some places (radius so 5-10cm) there are many small cracks in the paint. Looks like dried desert soil. But you have to look very carefully. From wide it looks like a slight dirt stain and is matt. Between the cracks it shimmers out silver, but it doesn’t rust. That there is no way to fix it completely is clear. Is there a way to alleviate it? Could there happen even more in the future (expansion, rust etc.)? Can such places be polished, or should they be avoided, which would of course look even more strange? Thank you for the answers.

  • Campsite fees

Hello, I don’t really know about the permanent campsite fees yet. We have rented a permanent campsite in NRW (all year place). There are only permanent campers, no guests with about 50 parking spaces. No kiosk, no reception, a sanitary house with ONE shower (with curtain separated) – (one for ladies, one for men), two toilets, and 6 wash basins (stand approx. from the 60’s). Furthermore, there is no possibility to wash laundry. If you need gas, you have to get it yourself in the hardware store etc…. The rent is € 800.00 po year. Shower brands must be bought, electricity is according to consumption. Visitors pay € 4.50 per adult per night and € 3.00 per child. Then it is still so that the landlord only picks out tenants who are rarer there. But still have to pay the whole year. Is this too high? According to what criteria the rent is calculated? Many thanks in advance for your answers. Constanze
