  • Set steering game!

    Hello together, I’ve had a little bit of fun with my BMW E28 524d, a steering game, because of which you didn’t get a TÜF anymore. Since the TÜF, I’ve changed the middle track bar + all the other joints. I’ve set the track by hand a little straight, so after eye measure^^ because during the first test drive, the fall fit at all and the tires from 50 kmh, nice to start squeaking (starter error *gg*) According to the “So is made E28” I may have a steering game of 25mm maximum. According to my feeling, it has become a little better by changing the joints and the middle track bar, but I still find myself between 20mm and 25mm. But I would have liked, ideally, no steering game -.- I have already taken the cover under the steering wheel down and looked at whether with the steering stick, which goes to the steering gear, but there does not happen to be a game above. I have made the joints pretty hard too, so that there is not really a thing to be fixed there?

  • Citroen, much better than expected

    Hello, I wanted to tell you about my positive experiences, where for the first time I drive such a French woman. So I had already at its age 2 Golf’s 2… different new Smart’s and then 3 years of new Chevrolet. Currently the 14-year-old Citroen causes me much less grief than the Chevrolet. I bought the Citroen Zx with 128tkm end of April, now he has already 142tkm. So far I only had to make the exhaust (end pot) and bring in some blocked brake pads. So sometimes really, as uncomplicated as the Frenchman, were my wolves, who were so 9-11 years old, at least not. I’m surprised how he still calmly purges, and thus on vacation I was already already. I am almost considering whether I should buy some Ctroen, for 500€… just something from 2004,2005…. The Zx for 700€ was supposed to be a transition. How about Citroen and Autogas retrofitting?

  • Rear wheels brake permanently, after approx. 20 minutes driving time

    Hello, I have a Citroen Zx 1.4i, heck built in 1996. Now the rear brakes are grinding, after 2-3 brakings and I then need a little more motor force to drive. Sometimes there is also a small ruck, and the brakes dissolve quite suddenly. I don’t know now if they are purely dirty brake blocks, or the brake power amplifier can be.   • Smaller steering wheel

    Hello together I’ve had a c70, great car for 4 years. But what doesn’t suit me from the beginning, that the steering wheel for the way and how to sit in it is too big for my taste, I still have a Sharan, which has a significantly smaller steering wheel. Sure, I know Volvo is Volvo…and you shouldn’t change anything. I just thought…the steering wheels at Volvo are all the same size or not suitable to my knowledge. Or you can add a smaller one from other model. Thanks for your tips Benji

  • Volvo V50 2.0d Error 246B Particle filter Regeneration ratio

    Hey guys, I hope there’s some help here.. from my Opel earlier I was used to finding any problem online what to find but at Volvo it looks rather bad compared :/ It’s about a Volvo V50 2.0d from 2009 A few weeks ago I got the message that the soot filter is full so I had the DPF renewed 2-3 weeks ago (not original, the old one looked okay but still just renewed), message came back at some point, then bought a used differential pressure sensor (original). Message came back. I then thought, maybe the workshop just didn’t reset the DPF, even reset it and then 2 days no report. Before that came back again the message soot filter full but disappeared after about a minute. In the fault memory at first (according to the workshop) nothing was deposited. When the DPF (from me) was reset, and also earlier the error “246B particle filter regeneration ratio” was saved. Does that mean that it is too often trying to start a regeneration? My next idea would have been a new sensor (of course also original) but I don’t know how to buy the same thing at the same time?

  • I need help with cell phone at the 2005er

    Moin I’ve Googled the whole morning and read the threads here in the MT and I’m not a bit further yet. I have this device in the middle armrest (see appendix). I would like to know what I need to be able to use it in the car. If I am currently pressing on my phone at the ZAB there is “Phone not available”. I’ve already read of the 6310i variant and the BLUETOOTH variant, but I didn’t get any further. Which shell do I need, which device and what do I have to do to make it work?
