  • Special oil for particulate filters?

Hello! I have a new C4 with 110 HDI PDF engine. For this, according to the maintenance booklet page 22 three PSA Peugeot Citroen standards are allowed: 1. The PSA standard B71 2294 (e.g. Total Quartz 7000 10W-40) 2. The PSA standard B71 2296 (e.g. Total Quartz 9000 5W-40) 3. The PSA standard B71 2290 (e.g. Total Quartz Ineo ECS) In the note is No. 3, it has the ACEA specification C2 and the SAE class 5W-30, called low-pollutant and fuel-saving and is absolutely recommended for vehicles with particulate filters. My question: What about the other two oils? Do they also have an ACEA C2 qualification, which should protect the soot particle filter? In addition, I wonder why the Total Quartz Energy 0W-30 should not be allowed, although it has the same PSA standard B71 2296 as No. 2?

  • Kickdown switch…..for what?

Hello, of course I know what a kick-down switch has for tasks…….but I don’t need it for my S80, because mine is already switching down 2 gears at 3/4 gas……and that’s pretty annoying. It’s not possible to accelerate full throttle from the village in the 3rd gear.Just when it’s still cold, you always have to be careful that you don’t give too much gas.Is that normal????Do you have that too????

  • Curvature conservation S60

Hello, wanted to ask you something about cavity conservation – but first of all to me – I have a 2 year old Volvo S60 2,4D with now 75,000km on it – was already active in this forum earlier – but unfortunately I have obviously changed the password – and the email is no longer correct (old name was joeJAI). I am very satisfied with the car – and had no major problems up to now (your accident – Delle in the door/coating wing). However, I am extremely careful with the car. Now my question: Have you already had a cavity conservation done? Does one of you know if they can seal the doors inside (because of the glass pane/mechanics etc.)? Will the disc be expanded – or do they only flood the lower area of the door? My car has no rust problems and it also comes out with the doors good fat – but as I said extremely loud driving with the car and it can only help – I have already informed myself about the various possibilities – but only with regard to the materials used. Many thanks for your help – beautiful greetings to Hancho – I can not really fix the car – I can not drive a little bit

  • V 70II Power socket to activate luggage compartment!?

Hello, about the SuFu I have already found out that for the activation of the pre-set cable 1. the fuse and 2. the component 9442190 is necessary. Unfortunately the mentioned links to the installation instructions of Volvo dead-end lanes, the pages are no longer displayed. So, now the question: What is this for a component and where does it come in? Can you possibly bridge this? On the display by means of the on-board computer it does not matter to me, the connection is only “consciously” used under supervision. I would like to install to the right instead of the cigarette lighter socket two 4mm sockets for my model construction charger and would like to use the pre-installation e.g. fuse and cables. Greeting, Elchisti

  • Llumar or Trim-Line??

Hello, I have a question about disc tones.Which film has better UV protection and heat protection? Have the following offers for Chemnitz: Trim-Line: 308-340 euro Llumar: 250euro On the phone I was told that Trim-Line has better UV protection and the film could be removed without glue residue, for the purpose of reselling the car. What experiences have you made with the foils and maybe someone has a cheaper idea. Thanks in advance!!

  • How to determine exact fuel consumption / which measurement method

Hello guys, I’ve been wanting to buy a gasoline-saving car for a while. Unfortunately, every measurement method and every driver says something else. Is there a realistic measurement method or independent examiner (websites) on which the right consumption is called? How can I determine the best fast and online for the interesting vehicles? Thanks for your ideas and advice.

  • too high fuel consumption V70 T5 II

Hello, since I took out the two fuses to erase errors from the control unit overnight a month ago, my Volvo consumes a lot more than before, around the 15l/100km now and before 13l/100km. I also feel that the performance has become less. My Volvo has a chip tuning from Heico. What can this be about?? Must any update be made?? I ask for help. Thank you

  • 1.4 86 PS vibrated / jerked

Hello good day everyone, I bought yesterday a 1.4er with 86 hp Built. 2014 from a dealer when I drove home noticed the car vibrating / jerking in the stand, as strong as 3 cylinder car (which was not noticeable during test drive) , then I went back to the dealer and the master said that maybe the spark plug is still not optimal, because the car was standing so long and was not much moved, and recommended me to drive a long distance so that it runs again optimally, if after 2 weeks is still so I can go to the again and look for the error (have yes guarantee) , then yesterday I drove directly 100km and it runs great in the highway, quiet and comfortable, but the vibration is still there in the stand , I really think about it a lot, especially if one of the cylinders is broken what I can not remember, My question, is the statement of the master is logical? And should I wait and drive a lot so that the spark plug is again optimal? What can be the result of the vibration in the stand?

  • What is the cause of so-called piston tippers?????

Hello friends, there would be a question for you. You can now read at VW especially with the 1.4l gasoline engines, no matter if now with or without charging a lot of these piston tippers. But now I have at MT-Talk in the engine forum of VW-Motors gelsen that it hits also Audi. And there seems to be especially the 3 and 4 l engines….that I mean the displacement now. I would like to know why it comes to the piston tipper with these engines. Is this now because of the quality of these engines, that is to say, was saved on the material. There are all the full aluminium engines. But with other manufacturers the Alu engines produce this phenomenon does not seem to occur so often. Or are there distortion faults??? If one of you can say anything about this, I would be happy if he writes his opinion here. Thank you for your answers.
