    Hello together, maybe someone can enlighten me. Unfortunately, I found nothing in the sufu. In the user manual it is possible to fold the mirrors automatically down by inserting the return gear. However, in the center display under mirror and convience the selection function is missing. I found nothing of the same in the configurator. Have a R-Design MJ2019 Thank you very much

    Hello, one thing is for sure: I want a clean car with automatic, because I mostly travel in the Rush-Hour instaedtisch. The two vehicles are likeable to me. The Opel is in the equipment innovation a ticker cheaper than the Yaris and has won at the Autostrassenverkehr magazine around Haars Breite (should both be equivalent!) Which vehicle would you choose? And where is the biggest advantage? Thanks for the help.

  • Engine oil at Yaris I……?!

    Hi together! Especially to those who, like me, have the Ier Yaris. Which engine oil do you drive, already changed (viscosity, not the oil, is clear or ) and what experiences did you have with it? I will change next week. Have since I bought it (Nov 06) 10 W 40 in it and will change to 5 W 30. Meaningful or rather not? The whole then Castrol Magnatec 5 W 30. Have always had good experiences with Castrol at the mopped. Could someone ever lay of course e explain what the numbers (10 W 40, 5 W 30, 0 W 60 etc) mean? I know where you can switch to where, but I don’t know what the numbers mean. Thx Greetze

  • Lupo 3L – Power steering / steering aid is sporadic

    Hi guys, I occasionally miss the power steering (on average 2 to 3 times a month, sometimes for a long time nothing again relatively often). This does not happen while driving, but when starting the engine. Not when the car was long, but when it only stood for a few minutes and then I start again. The failure is not temperature dependent, a restart does not help. Error code read out: 00570 – Relay for steering motor (J509) / 35-10 — Sporadic 00569 – Power steering motor / 27- 10 – unplausible signal – Sporadic As I have read here in the forum, I have already pressed the relays onto the relay carrier. However, these were not loose and today the same problem occurred again. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to continue? Replace relays? Thank you for your answer. Greetings, Dominik

  • Alleged plastic parts – what to do?

    Hello, on my nearly three months old V70 some plastic parts bleach out, partly the black surfaces are already light grey to white. Is that normal? Did not have that with any other car (is my first Volvo). And maybe someone has an idea how to change? Is really unsightly with an otherwise black car! Specifically affected are among others the plastic strip on the rear bumper, the covers on the A-pillar left and right, the borders of the outside pie l, the window bars… Thanks for answers! filiushh

  • R129 – Presentation / Question on residual values in financing

    Hello everyone! First of all, a brief description of how I come to you at all: I have a B-Class as a leasing vehicle at the moment, which costs me depending on the kilometers (about 15tkm/year) in the month about 400€ incl. taxes and insurance. Basically I am very satisfied with this car, but I find 400€ for an absolutely emotionless car meanwhile a little money. Since I am not regularly dependent on a car or access to company vehicles and the My girlfriend’s car, I started looking for a youngtimer. Here the C126 fell into the closer selection. I had to make the experience, however, that it is now enormously difficult to find a decent specimen with a few kilometers, little defects and a complete history under 10-12000€. In addition, a C126 from my point of view is somehow not a really everyday vehicle, with which one likes also long stre In this way I come to the R129, which, in my opinion, is no longer a youngtimer or a current used car. Relatively current technology packed in a design that is no longer up-to-date (but appeals to me), an attractive successor that presses the prices and a large range of vehicles. In my search, I initially have dealer offers between 15-25t€ from ’98-’01. Since I would probably finance the vehicle, I also took a look at the financing conditions. With a financing over 2 years with 30tkm of total running power, the financing computer goes from a closing rate of 9200€ (see attached screenshot). I can hardly imagine that it is realistic that this vehicle should lose another half of its value for 2 years. Of course, from an economic point of view (split prices, etc.) the purchase price can fall into one another, but so strong? In addition, with a relatively economical 320er? Also at 500er shows a similar picture and that although the 500er is actually the most popular engine of all. I would be very pleased to hear from you an opinion on this!   • Power antenna amplifiers

    Hi I recently replaced my SC-901 radio with an accessory radio in the C70. Now I am faced with a small problem which I noticed only today completely. I changed from DAB+ to VHF times and absolutely no reception at all, only rushing DAB+ reception is good in the city, outside so la la, often reception breaks (though maybe would be normal at DAB+) but also somehow not because I am in the vicinity of cities should that be good? Anyway, guess Is this “Dietz Adapter” used and it should actually power the antenna. As far as I know, the antenna is supplied via a cable on the plug and not by phantom feed through the antenna cable? I don’t know which cable is for the antenna amplifier and whether all pins are correctly arranged on the Dietz Adapter. Didn’t pay attention to this but only seen radio goes on and it comes to sound rough s (DAB+) Also a possibility where I have just thought about it is the splitter to be able to use the built-in VHF antenna for DAB+. I bought one where there is still an additional amplifier on it with 12v on ignition. Possibly the part to blame? Do not know now whether DAB+ should also be completely dead without antenna amplifier or whether it would be enough for the city even without just as much hmm would be grateful for some tips.   • Replacement Nivomat for normal shock absorbers

    Hello together. In the Sufu I read that you can’t just replace the Nivomat dampers with normal ones. So far so good. But why? What’s different about the normal ones (except of course the Nivo balance)? And if it’s really not possible, what do I have to do? I’ve always read about a complete suspension. I don’t look through it somehow. And I’ve looked a little bit after the nivomates. I see a connection to the pictures. Or is the one on the pictures n I found just not to see?

  • Engine does not start

    Hello, After I have removed the engine of my V70 I built in 1998 (B5204T3/M56) and now installed again (engine was running during removal) the car will no longer start. Timing belt markings match exactly the crankshaft and both camshafts, fuel pressure is also there (tested on the blue cap on the single-point strip).Zündung should also have, insofar as I put the cables in the correct order on the cap (Have oriented me to my suction cup V70 with the 2.4 l engine). I checked the plugs of camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor and air mass meter. I also developed air filters in my desperation to ensure that he also gets enough air. Did not bring any change with him, the car continues to oril but does not start. I don’t know any more and I am grateful for every tip.
