  • xc90 (SUV) driver disguised sports drivers ?

Hello all, one thing I have noticed recently during my journeys, namely that XC90 (but also in particular Touareg) are moving very fast on the BAB (> 180 km/h). Will say, if you already see these cars and then possibly want to drive afterwards, in order to enjoy yourself a bit more at the sight, then I can only do this if properly heated (including construction sites etc.). Eääääh, stupid question, would not be an S60 for this, because of me also a V/XC 70, the more suitable vehicle ? Here wi I have to say from my own experience to move 2.1 t of curb weight at very high speeds, I feel very annoying, because mE the engine power is too low for this. My opinion is that SUV is something to cruise, not to shred (for economic reasons).

  • Price level Golf vs. Leon: Where is the catch?

Hello, it may be that my wife and I are about to buy a car in the near future and in this context I’m a little bit configuring about a combination of the compact and the lower middle class. I like Leon very much anyway. If I put this as ST in the relation to a golf variant, I ask myself: Where is the catch? The Leon has made himself neat – ok, as far as the interior design is concerned, you can find the golf more beautiful. But w As far as the materials are concerned, the Leon is also very solid. The conformation even exudes much more appeal in Leon than in the Gulf. If I see that the list prices in themselves are already lower in Seat than in VW and then comes to the fact that you get significantly more discount at Seat (to the 30 percent for self-employed), you get to ponder. Of course you don’t get all brand new options for the Seat like the Golf (1.5 TSI, Cupra with the old “R” engine, old DSG). this does not apply to all equipment options and it is possible to configure a Seat Leon ST at the technical level of a VW Golf Variant. The high discounts at Seat are likely to be negative in terms of resale alone. But otherwise: I don’t see any disadvantage when buying a Seat?!?

  • Puretech motor orienting, almost core sound

Hello Berlingofreunde! I have recently had a Berlingo, built in 10/2019, 1.2 liter Puretech engine with 131 hp and automatic transmission. Now my question to you: At approx. 1600 – 1900 revolutions the engine makes a clear, quite loud audible, orgling noise – it actually sounds almost kernely. Above and below the engine is hardly to be heard, the noise is not there yet or already away again. If I switch in Eco mode, it seems quieter or only little to hear If you can tell me, is this the case with your equally motorized Berlingos, is this normal or is there a mistake? It greets and thanks Robert

  • Trailer lights on despite ignition off

Moin in the round I have installed a trailer coupling from Brink at my uncle’s Opel Combo 1.5 D. The Wiringkit 738574 has been installed. Now the problem is that when the trailer is connected to the lights, the lights are switched off automatically about 30sec after ignition and the door, whether the vehicle is locked or not. If you open the door, the light is switched off again on the trailer. Door is closed again, a short time later light is switched on again. 12V on the pins for the lighting. g has also been programmed or unlocked by Opel. Does one of you know whether it is due to the parameterization of the vehicle or whether the trailer module can be the culprits? The trailer module is only connected via CAN, ergo can only be located on the vehicle.

  • Consumption XC60 Diesel

Moin people, after the cold season my consumption has reduced from approx. 9.5-9.7 liters to approx. 8.5. I am a bit harder with the winter more consumption, the old XC60 also had a SH and the consumption was always at 8.5 liters. The new models have this additional heater. Can this thing make up so much. The new steering wheel heating can be only slightly, right? All in all I find the winter consumption a little too high, but the comfort lets say hello 😉 On the 17th go d he winter tires down, let’s see what might matter.

  • Mitsubishi Galant EA0 V6 “Starting problems”

Hello!!! I’ve been driving my Galant for about 2 1/2 years now. Never had problems, thanks to good care and preventive measures. For 3 – 4 months I have a start problem! At first I had to start about 20sec. and play with the gas until it finally sprang up. Then I noticed when I let the engine run cold before making out, I don’t have the problem afraid of it. Now that it has become outside colder, I have this problem all the time. o of staten: I start to start, after about, 10sec he starts to stutter slowly. Until he finally starts to start. When he starts, a huge smoke cloud comes out of the exhaust, in addition he also has flammable dropouts. When I then start (times without running warm) he also does not take the gas properly. As soon as the engine is warm there are no problems anymore. No ignition dropouts, no start problems everything runs perfectly. I just let all spark plugs wake up because I was hoping so that the problem disappears. do you have an idea of what this can be? will now not switch to suspected gasoline pump and co. mfg

  • Rust on six-year-old XP9!!

Hello, it was time again for an annual inspection! When the master took the car, I noticed that in the area above the rear axle, where there are hardly any stones and splashing water, it gammelts merrily at the metal edges and welding points. I drew the Master’s attention to this and he only meant that this does not fall under the rust guarantee, because it rusts from the outside to the inside. Here is the classic case, that the pea counters at Toyota saw a possibility, many things I had to make an underfloor conservation now, which costs me 200 EUR and should be repeated every 2 years!! This is really a pity now, because I was very satisfied with the car so far. However, the Toyota brand is now linked to the topic of rust. Therefore, I can now also give a guarantee to Toyota: That was my last Toyota!! Greeting to everyone and watch out if you have any Want to buy used!! Ernstjulius

  • Turbocharger sometimes falls from 1.4 TSI

Hello, unfortunately I have the following problem. My turbocharger sometimes simply fails, often when I drive about 120 km/h and wants to accelerate in the 6th gear. Suddenly no more power, engine control lamp is missing. After I turn off the ignition and turn it on again everything runs 100%. I once had a friend read out the error memory after it occurred: charging pressure control limit not reached/understepped. At first it happened about every 15000 kilometers but e The turbo is now more common. Even today when the load changes from the 4th to the 2nd gear at full throttle the turbo has once failed. The seat has been chipped since 90000 kilometers. Can the turbo be defective? I can hardly imagine it, because once I really speed through all the gears, it runs perfectly and the error comes rather sporadically and felt then when the engine is really warm. Maybe I also worry too much, but it was only 2 weeks ago in the workshop, chain over Since then I’ve been afraid that that’s something again, because this action was expensive enough. Greeting Seat Leon 1.4 TSI 125PS (about 155 hp) Year of construction 2011 Mileage 102000
