    Hello! We are a young family with a child and I am now looking for/need a station wagon. I am about 2 meters tall and need a diesel. I have the following favorites: – Toyota Avensis – Opel Vectra – VW Passat – Mazda 6 I had actually thought that the corresponding car should not have been older than 3 years and should not have run more than 80,000 km. Because wouldn’t want to sit right there with reperatures. With the above criteria the Vectra would be best to get. With good hand I would probably get it for 11,000 euros. Now my questions: 1. Which of the above-mentioned models would you advise me to do? I am concerned about price performance, reliability and known problems. 2.   • Heating peculiar

    Recently I notice when I have the heating in operation at 22 degrees synchronized the after some time cooler air out of the heating comes no matter from which outlet I have set the ventilation. If then I change then also the air will automatically get warmer again which is actually not normal.I think if I set a temperature should also keep the temperature constant. At VW dealer I was therefore still not thinking that I might be a little wrong m ache just wouldn’t know what. Maybe someone has an idea or can give me a hint what it might be

  • Volvo V70 brakes conversion to multi-piston system

    Hi guys, I’ve been upgrading the brakes just as strongly since a strong braking on the highway. The fact is that it has to and should, out of technical as well as optical necessity, catch a multi-piston fixed saddle. Specifically, I have 2 systems in my sights. A Heico/AP Racing system and a Tarox 6 piston system. The AP is used, the Tarox flame new. Now comes an important point, the original Comet must remain, which would otherwise take along a lot of character. as far as I have seen and read it plug&play is only there the question whether someone has registered or how it stands with a registration and whether the Heico report can play a role. As far as the Tarox, there must be mounted 10mm track plates at the front which I really don’t like to do, but what does it have to do. The Tarox comes with strength proofs as well as comparative reports from a Golf Gti with comparable equipment. Has any of you ever had all this behind you? I’m completely open to experience. This is about pure more piston systems, of everything that has to do with the original 1 piston saddle I take distance. Thank you

A few weeks ago, a member of this group was shoved after – admittedly very trolly – advertising entries for his own developed repair kit for a defective cargo space cover on the 850 and V70. I’ve done a little stuff myself, but my curiosity was aroused. I didn’t order the set. I don’t know “human child”, I’m not related, I’m married or I’m involved. It’s a great VOLVO word of honor! Nevertheless:Absolute purchase recommendation!! My LRA made a nasty noise a few weeks ago and then just let itself hang. I didn’t get any further with glue or the like. With this set the Rollo is now absolutely safe and you can bring in such a right tension. There is an illustrated description, which you can send you gladly – simple, thoughtful and worth his money for me, because I am not willing, 100 euros for a used LRA again. So again: this advertisement is a real TIP! And the trolling also makes man-child sorry… Has probably a little hyperventilated after his invention… If you have any questions you can contact me.     Hello, I’m not represented here all too often, but I have a question to the V 70 group: I bought a new V 70 in March in Sweden (therefor more), I’m also very satisfied with it, but about a week ago the tailgate started to register loudly with body twists (passengered in the trunk).I then drove to the dealer who said: is not the first time and mainly models with automatic tailgate.The problem: since all manufacturers save I don’t want to believe when the mechanic came with a grease spray bottle…but the flap is silent! So at the price you can expect enough fat! Since someone has already had experience of you, does that happen again, or does it last forever? Now to Sweden: I picked up my V70 over in Sweden myself, had a few nice days in Stockholm, about 10,000 € Listep rice saved, but fair way said, to dealer discount, which you get here, about 5000 €, and 1000 € more for my old one, than my dealer wanted to give me. Only only negative: my age was deregistered after just under 1 month, makes about 35 € tax, but does not want to argue about it. Otherwise, for my part, I would do it again.Everything went smoothly, flight, hotel and the car corresponded to the ordered. Thanks for your experiences for the sake of the flap, nice day You

  • Scooter does not reach the maximum speed

    Hello motor-talk community! I recently bought my first scooter. Among other things as a small craft project. It is a Baotian BT49QT-9 scooter. First a few infos and then the two problems. The info: I bought the scooter defective and repaired the “obvious”. New spark plug, new suction nozzle, new carburetor. Before the repair the scooter ran restlessly and drove at most 15 km/h. After the repair it ran round and faster again. after the instructions I have set from the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWwNpNWZPqY The problems: 1. The scooter drives despite full speed, not its 45 km/h. Mountain descent it comes on a maximum of 40, on a normal track maximum of 30/35 and uphill (even at the smallest climb) it really tortures itself with 25/30 km/h. If I drive full speed and it can make just as much as 40 km/h (mostly remains below), come between by small “acceleration ranges”. If the scooter could drive faster, but it doesn’t most of the time. Did I set the carburetor wrong or can the problem have its origin elsewhere? I was thinking of old petrol or oil… Could the speedometer just be broken? The speedometer needle sometimes moves back and forth at higher speed, although I can’t make up any troubles for this movement (roller runs quietly, road is flat). 2. Speaking of Tacho: When I set the left turn signal, it lights up. on my speedometer not the blinker light. But some other light source next to it flashes slightly. The left flasher on the scooter light up quite normally. With the right blinker I don’t have the speedometer problem. There the flasher indicator lights up normally. I know that remote diagnostics are always difficult, but I don’t know where to start with the troubleshooting. If someone has ideas or suggestions about one of these two problems, I would be very grateful for it!

  • SL 350 R230 after longer service life no current !

    Hello ! After a longer service life my SL R230 2005 has no power any more. Both batteries are empty ! Driver door with emergency key opened without any problems, keys in the ignition and nothing happens. No electricity all dead ! Rear flap cannot be opened with the emergency key. I removed the starter battery in front and recharged (battery is full), reinstalled and connected and still nothing happens. I put the key in the ignition and it does nothing (a) I can’t get to the big comfort battery in the trunk. Otherwise I would have charged it again. I hope one of you has an idea how to proceed when both batteries are empty. Thank you!
