  • To cry: All 4 rims broken

Here’s another story about howling: I needed three new tires last month. The first timer was an edge stone, which I accidentally (and too fast) drove up. Both right rims a dent in it. Front tires a crack. Had to have a new one. The second timer was a nail in the tire. Back right. Also new. The third timer was a edge stone again. Narrowing on the road. Left and right a edge stone. With speed 30 front left on the edge of the rim. Felge is now broken an 8th front tire, must be scratched new. Rear rim all around. Conclusion: – 4 broken rims, one of which is no longer repairable (the “8”. Damage about 1500 EUR (in case of repair and new purchase of a rim). – 3 defective tires. Thanks to Goodyear tire protection letter only cost 180 EUR. 80% of the costs were taken over by Goodyear. 600 EUR saved. And what does that tell us? 1. I can’t drive a car. 2. The tyre protection letter from Goodyear is class. In spring, the enemy gets my 4th wheel rims.

  • tried tt-theft!!!

hello!night night you tried to steal my dt.The thief was quite brazen and drove my dt from the main street into a next street or pushed, because the distance was about 300 m. the types set the alarm system out of force and then the ignition expertly removed. the control unit and the combi instrument were removed, where the control unit is now missing. it looks as if the from the workshop had removed everything. also on the navi computer these types have screwed around, but this is still available. of course all from the vehicle (two phone from the freephone equipment, music cds, navi cds,ray ban sunglasses, tools, sports bag etc.) took with them. driver seat made of leather was provided with a 10cm long scratcher (ar..holes).Unfortunately the vehicle was chipped and not yet registered, so a mist! Kripo has recorded everything, vehicle is now at car joy! I have no more to sit on.

  • Ford Scorpio 2.3 BJ 98 head

Hello together, I started for a friend to renew his 2,3 ldohc head seal. (Wagen has thrown the cooling water out of the exhaust.) I already marked everything and put down the head. I then made a 2,0 l head ohdc on it. Since the old one has the intermediate wall 1-2 duchgebrandt. Everything good until KM 25 , there flew me the suction bridge through the engine. So made a mistake! Head also against rounder. Have had right had head seal broken. New head seal on it, suction bridge glued, thermostat renewed. (Apply to that it was the reason for head seal 1 and 2 and the head has the part wool also on the present. So I also got everything against together, although my mark on the crankshaft lid was gone. And look there it doesn’t jump on! When it starts up we? and when it falls under 1500 tours?

  • Purchase decision Ford Mustang Ecoboost

Hello together, I need some experiences and opinions from you. At the moment I drive a 520I BMW built in 2003. Since this now approaches its wear limit I am naturally looking for something new and PS stronger. I really don’t need the matching V8 sound for the Muscel Car look. (although this of course sounds great) But since I have no experience with such vehicles at all, of course, come to me the typical concerns that you know of Ami vehicles. What do you have as an average consumption? In the forums the opinions always differ greatly some write slightly below the 10l limit some go up to 15 l. What do you think of me as a rather cruiser, where will this move? How does it beats in the winter with circuitry? Since I want to drive the Mustang as a year-round vehicle is of course a big question for me. I am used to a tail-driver but with so many PS I unfortunately have no experience. And as a last question: Through the facelift 2018 (EU) I think the prices of the current Mustangs are too cheaper or I can get a great reward for it?

  • Consumption Mondeo TDCI 2.0

Hello, I drive a Ford Mondeo TDCI 2.0 with 130 hp. Year 04.2004. 6 gear manual transmission. Euro 4. 225 tires. Sports suspension. Now at 14,000 km. In the manual an average consumption of 6.2 l/100 km is indicated. I land in a very moderate driving mode in a balanced mix between city and highway regularly at 8 l/100 km. I have read in another forum that the consumption when the automatic air conditioning is “automatic” is high and when you go down into the “ECO” mode and the power hole is gone. I have always driven with the setting “Automatic”. To me the consumption seems quite high. Ford says it would be normal and the dealer says he can’t find a mistake. Since he can’t find a mistake, he can or doesn’t want to do anything. Has an experience with the consumption and the Kim automatic on this model. Would be very nice if you could tell me consumption data. Thank you Marc

  • Lower Mondeo Tournament?

Hello, I gave us half a year ago for my family a Ford Mondeo TDCI tournament Bj 2003! Most of the time my wife drives it. Actually she is quite satisfied with it. But she doesn’t like the somewhat “smoky” driving behavior. He would shunk too badly. Now I wanted to ask here if someone with lowering springs knows, or maybe even has installed some. What experiences have been made? Which brand is to recommend? How much should you lower the car, so that there is still enough comfort? etc. etc. Many thanks in advance. Many greetings Sveenie.c

  • Fear of type-approval

Hello, since I may have had to give you a good answer to the question of whether it’s good or bad, I’ve had to give you a good answer to the question of whether it’s good or bad. I’ve bought a Ford Mustang GT from the 2013 series. In the vehicle license it’s marked as an imported vehicle and I’ve also got a TÜV certificate and an exemption pursuant to § 70 StVZO and § 47 FZV that’s the exceptions for the light (red side markers) and the immobilizer. Of course there’s also an opinion according to § 21 StVZO as it’s an imported vehicle. So, now on the problem: I have a JLT air filter in it and from Rush tailpipes (possibly also more). Neither the exhaust nor the air filter is included in the report? And the report says: 47, 47c, 47d, 48 – exhaust gases, discharge of exhaust gases, carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption, emission classes for motor vehicles have to give you the order 49 – the noise and sound system should be prepared for me.

  • My baby’s been smoking since yesterday, not too close!

Hello Together The Kummer chain does not tear off. Now I have a new problem since yesterday (the revised transmission is hardly a week old): It uses massive white bluish in the following situation: – engine warm – car stands for at least 3min with running engine – I give gas (no matter if little / strong) But during the ride you see nothing. If I stop, briefly turn the engine on 5’000 tours, you see nothing. It has to stand, and indeed something more than 1-2 minutes. I have read here a lot about valve shaft seals and so, but then I think he always has to smoke when turning up, but does not. Does this behavior provide an indication of possible other causes? Thanks for any tip, Ken

  • Navi Professional and travel book via ConnectedDrive

In the multimedia equipment manual, especially for ConnectedDrive[CD], the option “travel book” is described. However, I don’t find this option in the CD menu. Is this a special equipment that you have to book extra (but I didn’t find anything in the CD’s online portal), or do I need the Navi “Business”? Or did BMW even throw out this option tacitly in order to sell their “electronic travel book” better? I’m a bit confused… Did any of you have the “online travel book” via ConnectedDrive and can explain it to me?
