  • 1.0, battery constantly empty, relay-410 ratters without ignition

    Hello, In the Arosa Forum is unfortunately dead pants, and since the Arosa is identical to the Lupo, I ask the question again here. Our second car a Seat Arosa Bj.1999, 1.0 , 50PS constantly sucks the battery empty. When you get into the car you hear the Relai 410 ratter although keys are not in the ignition lock. So the Relai has power without ignition. Can it be because the Relai is defective and no longer shuts down or is the problem to look elsewhere?

  • Engine damage – Pheaton V10, 66TKM, 4/2004

    Hello, had brought my Phaeton to the workshop for an inspection. A noise was detected on the engine. Now it is called the engine on the 10th cylinder a piston eater. With the same cylinder also wg. engine noises the pump/nozzle unit (???) was replaced. Is that the actually normal that such an engine can go after only 66TKM kaput ?   • 150,000 km – is it now criminal ?

    My V10 Dicker crossed yesterday the 150,000 km mark, I have now 4 years and he himself is 2004 year of construction. 150km were my limit until then to seriously worry and to think about a change. Well, I had an Alfa Romeo 🙂 But actually I don’t like to change at all (financial crisis sends greetings). Finally I also had a bigger problem (wood knock), but what can now come up to me?     Hello dear community, while browsing on eBay I came across various parts such as ECUs for the track change assistant. I’ve searched a lot on the net and here in the forum, but I hardly found any retrofitting HowTos. What did you retrofit? Did you find your instructions? I’d like to retrofit ACC, Keyless and the track assistant if possible. At the ACC (which seems to be also used from the kit in the Audi) someone has retrofitted with an Audi.   • Stand-up heating again

    Hello, I bought a 5.0 V 10 from a VW dealer 3 weeks ago with the car so far everything is ok. I now ended 🙂 that the Phaeton has a heater (why I saw it only now? it was not an FB with it and I thought it didn’t have one). But in the menu there is this point and airing does it too. After a question with the dealer it was “the SH was with and without FB to buy it”, right that way? If he doesn’t have a SH the point would not be in the menu.

  • Traffic messages in RTI Navi

    Hello, since a good week I am proud owner of an S40. I am absolutely satisfied, but still have a small problem: RTI Navi shows me no traffic obstructions. Once I have already stood in traffic jam, and the Navi has cheerfully signaled free travel. On the radio come the traffic messages and only the traffic jams from 2 km long are called, because everything is closed, and my great Navi says that there are no messages available. In the settings, one can choose a transmitter. I tried different stations, but with no one I get a result. Is this a weak point with RTI Navi, or am I too stupid to use it properly?   • S40 2.0: repair or export?

    Hello Together Today was my S40, 2.0, BJ1996 (EZ 1997), 165’000 KM, at the MFK (TÜV in D). The following defects were found: All in all probably not so bad.     Hello Phaeton driver, I think of a Phaeton to lease, the conditions with the 1% I find very tempting. The car is subject to a high value loss which I would not have had before and could leave the car after 3 years again. Would only take one with warranty and up to approx. 500 € rate. I had already thought about 1-2 years ago but can not remember that the offers would have been so good. I tried a 3.0 diesel, I liked it very well.
