Moin, maybe I need a pair of glasses or there’s a 3rd variant of the KW label for timing/dental belt ? From “Uncle”-Robert’s (as always perfect) video (at time -> 2:43) one can apparently see a kind of additional disc, which reproduces the teeth, is arranged behind the KW belt disc and then offers behind 2 neighboring teeth 2 indentations. On 6th picture this article could be seen after intense staring at the back/top (on the right side of the very well-recognizable block marking (nase) lying tooth) a notch … at the left side of the tooth lying next to it’ I see at best will not from picture 3 of the very good photos from last year’s Thread of ‘Schimming’, one can at least after a few – zooming in – a notch at the end of a tooth is clearly visible. I had a predetermined 5 times the KW(!) responsibly the ‘Tanging around’ of the ‘Nimming’, but ‘I had not noticed the ‘becoming’ in front of the mark.

Accident with over 130km/h on the BAB!
Sorry for the rough words. Is it true! Explanation: Last Sunday I was short in the hospital because a Toyota GT from the middle lane on the highway hit our Volvo on the left lane and pushed into the guardrail. Photos of the “accident opponent” and our 850 TDI. I could brake on the front of the rims without tires still of a little over 130 km/h and drive from the far left to the right lane. Thank God: woman, children and dog are hardly injured, I have a few vertebrae dislocated and head, knees and shoulder injuries. This will all again with the time, only our elk, in which I had invested last autumn still 3,300€, has suffered a total damage for 18,000,-€. The OWN expert says: value before accident only 1,800,-€ , residual value 150,-€ Blöd, stupid and again stupid !!! Just that would not have been allowed to happen to me again? TDI with only 255,000 km and good equipment: Both tooth belts and inspection new with climate maintenance Krüber and gear change. Even the rear axle is protected for me.

Lupo 1.0 Used car tips?
Hello! I’m going to visit a used Lupo 1.0 from 2000 this afternoon. Are there certain things, typical weak points that can become expensive? Anything where I absolutely should look/ask or consider during a test drive? How is the spare parts situation? Are there still original parts for the model at VW? Does the engine control chain or timing belt? Does the car fit for self-screws? The supplier indicates that the car pulls to one side, and the electric glass sliding roof is dead. Supposedly also no rust and still unwelded. Sounds quite promising.

Who has experience with steering wheel claw in the Phaetom
Hello Phaetonists, Since we have just had unpleasant experiences with the Gulf, I am looking for a steering wheel claw that also blocks free access to the Navi and I may use this as needed in both vehicles. It’s important that the part is processed in a good quality way and nothing is damaged by the noble Phaeton steering wheel. As in the appendix, for example, such solutions look like this. I think that the cover of the Navis doesn’t have to be perfect now. When the assholes come at night, they certainly won’t want to try it out first, if it’s possible, but they’re looking for lighter victims somewhere. More important is that I know that the thing fits and doesn’t break anything. Ciao, Allsquatch

C30 T5 Power loss (especially) in the high speed range
Hello! My C30 T5, built in 2008, 55,000 KM, 230 HP Turbo 5 cylinders is a bit of a concern for me at the moment… I was with him recently on the highway. In the past he reached the top speed of 230-240 km/h, according to Tacho, without any problems, as pulled by a rubber band. Now he pulls from about 140 km/h only very slowly to about 190 km/h, it feels like he lacks at least 100 hp. In the lower speed range I notice no loss. There is still a good pull. But that’s my subjective feeling. I have not measured the time of 0-100 yet. The car was always regularly in inspections, directly at Volvo. The wear parts have always been replaced, I use the good 0W30 oil… Otherwise everything is still original at the car. The onboard computer also reports no faults. Had someone here already had the same problem? – Can it be that a hose in the area of turbo-conductor is still a little bit of pressure built up? Before all the bad pulling in the fourth gear. Or maybe the order is something better for me?

He’s gone
Today, after 12 years of Phaeton, the beautiful time has ended. Of all people, the car was picked up by a Poland today. I think I have been one of the very few, if not the only one, who was in Gibraltar with a Phaeton. That he was several times in Spain, Italy, southern and western France is nothing special. It was a nice time and pleasant travel. But, with regard to my retirement, he had grown a little tall and had to give way to a W204 250 CDI T 4 M. I can only say that buying this cart was a wrong decision. peso

Help with purchase decision Summer rims
Hello, please don’t be surprised, my user name still comes from the beginning times, in which I drove an A3 or S3. Now at the “more mature” age I got a Phaeton 3.0TDI Edition 5 about 3 months ago and now the question is, which summer rims come on it?! I know it is always a matter of taste about the rim size and the design but maybe the one or the other has a tip or maybe even a used set in the basement, which he would like to sell. Also I am always happy about a few sample pictures even if I have clicked here many hours through some threads I think at some point repeat the postings and contributions and certainly also this topic has been discussed several times already but nevertheless I am happy about suggestions and suggestions. In my narrow selection so far are: Tomason TN4 in 20″ or 22″ Royal GT in 22″ MTM Bimoto 21″ (only used to a reasonable price) Lorinser RS8 21″ (unfortunately to find something to be quite suitable for the occasion of the ride.

Is WW’s oil pump an engine killer?
Hello all, I happened to come across a YT video of MIK engines, where they tell about the oil pump problem, which I hear for the first time. Well, the pump is supposed to pump too little oil, which causes the engine to clap or even suffer a motor damage later. MIK engines advertises for their own oil pump, which is supposed to pump enough oil for the engine. Can someone tell me how this actually is with the oil pump at VW, and whether the oil pump of MIK engines is actually something good? I myself have a 1.4tsi from the year 2013, and it also rattles, but only at the cold start. After 3min it’s gone. Do many drivers probably have the engine and year of construction. Could probably arise from too little oil pressure? Greetings
