  • Lack of performance T5 AXE

Hello to the municipality, I hope you can help me with a problem, which has already occupied me for some time. It is about a T5 Bj 2005 with the AXE (2.5l TDI without DPF). The car goes with constant ride on the track into the emergency run. Error has exceeded charging pressure rule limit. The following things have already been worked out: -turbo overtaken by Schlütter turbocharger -N75 replaced -charge air system pressed off i.o. -complete vacuum system checked for leakproofness (all individual components with vacuum pump) -measurement drive replaced with VCDS -charge pressure sensor -AGR closed -LMM checked If you drive a measurement drive, then you can see how the charging pressure decreases slowly when the engine is warm and constant driving. However, the charging pressure control then does not try to re-regulate, thus it naturally comes to the emergency run and the fault storage entry. If I close the underpressure pump directly to the underpressure from the turbo and pump depending on the required charging pressure, then it does not go into the emergency run.

  • Does anyone now have the final solution for the non-opening tailgate on the V50?

Hello, there is already a parr thread, but nobody has a final solution. With my V50 you can’t open it to the tailgate from time to time. What was initially tolerable is annoying me now, because there is no regularity, except that the moments in which it can no longer be opened become more frequent. Curiously, it happens that I sometimes come a few hours later and it goes up again, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes I drive a round and it goes again, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes I pull harder at the flap and it opens, sometimes nothing works. I have – after it first came up with the lock with WD 40 (regularly) and had the EInpressure it went well. However, last time the flap can’t be opened any more with every 5th attempt. How are your experiences ? – lock defective ? – electrical equipment defective ? – control device defective ? – sensor at the handle was defective ? Could you find the error by means of reading out and remove doubtless? Entries is not remedied by the dealer?

  • Emergency run at the fuel reserve

Hello Volvo forum, a workmate has been a happy V50 1.6D driver for about 1/2 year. Now he has a corissant problem and an incredible statement of his car salesman. For the first time he noticed the following phenomenon at the beginning of his Volvo time at the beginning of this year. When the fuel reserve according to the tank indicator is reached, the motor electronics switch into the emergency run we can not drive faster than 60 km/h. 1. Statement of his car salesman: The vehicle would have stood for longer time and was last filled with summer diesel, which would now be “floated” in winter and cause the problem. After full fuelling everything was as usual. Since my colleague has to drive longer distances, he rarely comes to the reserve but now it happens again on the weekend. So again with the car salesman called and we only get the workshop to the pipe. 2. Statement: This is a Volvo typical peculiarity that when reaching the fuel reserve the engine has to go into the “energy saving mode”. You can certainly imagine that my colleague is quite busy and we have attracted him to it, but now you didn’t have a lot of greetings and you.

  • Loud sounds from the engine compartment (probably)

I drive a V40 1.8 122hp year 2001. For 2 days there is a strange loud noise coming out of my engine room that sounds like a mixture of rubbing and clapping, but you can only hear it very strongly in the interior and there it sounds partly as if the exhaust is leaking, but this is dense and firmly mounted. Usually the noise occurs when I walk away from the gas while driving (sounds Sonor and Dump as if a sports air filter or exhaust were installed) and if I give gas only briefly at 2000 revolutions (but then strong and clapping/beating). In the idle and in the stand there is nothing to be heard, except the noise that the camshaft adjustment is attributed (krr 1sec krrr 1sec krrr). At the friendly side one could not really help me any further, since this noise has never come under him. He typed either on NW adjustment or drive shafts. I am grateful for any help.

  • 1,8 , year 1998, automatic – unexplainable jerking

Good evening dear Volvo municipality , After many good years my Volvo has the following problem when the engine is warm and I am standing at the traffic light, the engine jerks , while the speed varies between 500 and 700 revolutions . It lasts a few seconds then again well . When accelerating after the amp stop ruckeln at the first 20 meters , then everything ok . When driving on the expressway , this happens occasionally ruckeln . Was in the workshop , diagnostic device – no errors . Workshop has identified the Kat as an evildoer . This is too – thus exhaust jam and jerk . My question : can this be ? Does anyone have experience with this problem ? Would not like to install new Kat and keep the problem ? ? Best regards Miki 13

  • Lupo 3l, gears just jump in, engine goes off

Hello together, I have the following problem: The Lupo ran so far reliably, one day at a traffic light the clutch apparently did not separate properly and the engine went off and after a long time only again. After that I was able to drive about 50 km and then nothing at all, no more gear went in, nothing. Then I did a basic setting, first set the KNZ and then all other steps carried out. After that the car started and all gears were inserted, but as soon as I let go the clutch jumps forward and goes out. After this jump the gear shift seems to also adjust, since on P the rear light for the return headlights concerns. P.s. is it normal that the value of the KNZ at the setting slightly fluctuates? I hope you can help me, VCDS is present, many thanks in advance

  • Remove Airbag

Hello first and good morning I hope someone can help me further here. For some time now my blinker arm on the steering wheel doesn’t want to be as right as it should. Think that he has a shadow somewhere. If I try to blink to the left that sounds like a lamp is broken. I jerk a little about it then things go without problems. Before the discussion starts now: Check your pears: THE BIRN ARE IN ORDER!!!! It’s the blinker arm. Now my problem is how do I get the airbag from the steering wheel without flying right through my rear window! I just wanted to see if the arm is broken now or just dirt is sitting behind it. I hope someone can help me here. It’s really annoying.

  • From photovoltaic modules to Phaeton

What does the Chinese solar industry have in common with the Dreden manufactory product? A whole lot:http://www.bild.de/…/…sche-autobauer-ins-visier-30746852.bild.html This would blow out the light for good to the Phaeton. Although it is a report of the Bildzeitung, there will still be a “mighty” problem for the German importers and manufacturers. And all this in addition to the problem that the China paragraphs of the Phaeton are supposed to crumble violently since this year… Perhaps the godfather of the Phaeton, Dr. Piech already knows more than anyone else, and has therefore transported the Phaeton to the museum. dsu

  • Stand heating burner exchange

Hello, does someone have experience with replacing the burner with the Webasto ThermoTop C heater for diesel with the GP0 3.0 TDI? Webasto’s spare parts kit includes a water hose and various seals: Do I have to disconnect the connection of the heater to the cooling circuit to replace the burner? What is there to consider and how do I get to the heater? Thanks Moseltaler

  • News from the transmission country

Hello and Servus, As it became known in this Fred, the reverse movement of my (overhaul) automatic transmission had not been moved to the cooperation. Yesterday finally the call came from the workshop. It was a mistake of the mechatronics engineer, who, according to the boss, was supposed to have switched a cable in the (?) transmission. Whether I can believe this statement I will know tomorrow, because today I can unfortunately not manage to bring the moose home. Supposedly, however, he should now finally also bring power again. I only hope that this faux pas did not lead to a termination of the ECU. But, tomorrow I know more and I will report. Gruss Jan, who suffers enormously from elk migration!
