  • Shock absorbers behind……

    Hello together, I wanted to change my rear shock absorbers today… Had then bought me at EBay a set, for my vehicle.. was given at least! Had then the old ones expanded today (because I thought that he hangs a bit and looks spongy… can step with the foot on my trailer clutch and push the vehicle down).. When they were out then I scared myself a little bit, because they were probably three times as thick as the new ones! Well I thought I probably won’t care… so the new gas pressure will fit in and I had a lower car in the back and in front I illuminated the stars… So again the old ones in and he is almost normal again! Are now my feathers in the eggmer or why does it hang with the new ones so incredibly deep??????? The old ones could not be pushed together by hand, the new ones already…. Can someone help me there vll. what has gone wrong??? LG

  • hands-free device 9-5 with LCD-Navi

    Hello Together, I have just looked for information about hands-free system, mobile phone, Nokia and found nothing in the 9-5 forum. I think to have a holder for Nokia 6630 and hands-free connection installed in my telephone “prepared” 9-5 with Touch-Navi. My dealer told me there are two variants: Bluetooth without antenna connection: 450€ incl. installation Bluetooth with antenna connection or mechanically: 750€ incl. installation I was not surprised about the prices, for that the box is already “ready to phone” I find this relatively expensive…. Do you have experience values and comparison prices? I would have thought that only one holder with device-specific plug as well as the connection and sound, Mirco and antenna are necessary…???   • Control chain clapping!!

    One more good evening/morning, I had to have a little bit of service on my 9-5 aero. The oil, oil filter and the front brake blocks were changed. What else has to be done is change the drive belt and the rear shock absorber (are leaking). The mechanic has emptied a “cleaner” in the engine before the oil change. This means that the dirt (e.g. from the coke) should be tied to it. In oil change this dirt is then removed from the engine. According to the mechanic the engine was not muddy, or there were only few traces to recognize. So as far as the engine mud is concerned, I can sleep with a calm conscience now. However, there is probably still a problem that makes me now, although it is covered by my quality 1 guarantee. The engine makes quite funny noises, which one hears especially in the empty chain. According to the mechanic, the mechanic will still be able to get in contact with the control chain for the compensation shafts or the control chain. He means that the chain has cost itself.

    Moin I’ve been looking eagerly, but I found nothing… I bought an XC90, BJ 2015, MJ 2016, with the Volvo Selekt Warranty Plus completed for 3 years. In October this is now running out.     Hello together, I am currently driving a Mercedes C class w204 from 2013 as 220 cdi. I am actually completely satisfied with it, but since only Euro 5 and we live in the greater Stuttgart area and now again the place is very limited thanks to my 1.93 m, I have taken into consideration the xc60, the v90 or v90 cc for the changes that are to be made sooner or later. I like all three models very well and I would, as the car also has to pull a 1800 kg trailer, end up with the D5 in terms of performance. I think the 90s, no matter in terms of place, the better choice, but maybe that’s also fooling. So now the question, who can tell me something about the three models, as it looks like with the place on the rear seat, also with regard to children’s seats. As I said, I am 1.93 m small 😉 The D5 would have only 2l cylinder instead of 2.2 l but for it has 80 Nm more torque in comparison to my C class. If someone has experience with this in the suspension operation at beyond 1500 kg and can report to me how the models behave good a new week.

  • Power loss V50 2.0D with DPF

    Hello, I got a V50 2.0D with DPF last Tuesday. Year of construction is 11/2004, km-status at the moment 87,500km. Yesterday suddenly the following problem occurred: After starting (engine cold) the vehicle suddenly has almost no power. It is as if the car had no more turbo. Speed maximum 2500prm and absolutely lame! Well, that goes well with the car! I have the diagnostic device “PPC Diagnostic System” from BSR. That showed with no errors in the motor electronics. Now I made myself a little smart in this forum times, as well as I could. Additively seems to have been refilled at 60,000km. At least there is no indication available that would indicate a missing additive. In some cases I have heard that either the DPF can be dense or a sensor provides false values and the BC then thinks that the DPF would be dense and the engine performance thwarts. Where does the sensor sit? Can you test the function somehow? How expensive would it be to change? Do otherwise have an idea of what does not indicate a mistake?

  • TomTom no GPS signal with CarKit in C30

    Hello Folks, I’m still going crazy here: I installed the TomTom Carkit in my Volvo C30 and wired everything wonderfully (i.e. power via the lighter and audio via the connection in the armrest). The doofe is that the CarKit does not receive any satellites or the signal is so weak that the dropouts come. I also have the additional Car Kit tool on the Iphone to see how the reception is. If I keep the CarKit docked out of the window with the Iphone, then the Mistding immediately gets Connect to 9(!) satellites. Does anyone have a similar experience or has a tip like I still get baked?

  • Problem with the ZV remote control

    Does anyone else know any problems with the remote control? There are days when I can push around as much as I want, but the doors don’t go. If only the small key remains to be pulled to get into the car. Sometimes when the key is closed, but less often there. Usually when the remote control has failed when I open, then I drive a little bit, it works again. Is it the battery in the key? Is there a way to re-learn the keys? With other vehicles, you turn the key a few times between ignition off/on and then press a button at each of the remote control to re-learn it. Otherwise, what else can it be?
