  • Switch the petrol pressure regulator?

Hello, so was today briefly in the workshop because of my starting problems. The mechanic immediately said that my petrol pressure regulator is defective. Did just look at the whole thing more closely. The petrol pressure regulator sits on the aluminium strip with the injection nozzles. My question is now, can you remove it yourself? Are the injection nozzles still fixed elsewhere? or are these just the screws on the front? Do you have to pay attention to something? Would you order the controller at Scandix.

  • Fill up coolant

Hello, the topic has already been addressed and dealt with in various other threads, but somehow I have not yet found an answer for my problem. In my S40 some cooling liquid is missing. In other words, the stand is not in the middle between the markings “Min” and “Max”, but rather at “Min”. Can I fill this up with tap water without hesitation, since there is hardly any risk of frost at the moment? Or does the smallest deviation of the mixture, which I don’t even know, because it always makes the workshop a safe function of the cooling circuit? Thank you already for your answers! Greetings, S

  • V90 Recharge: additional heating defective

Hello together, since Monday the heating in the E-operation (Pure or Hybrid) no longer heats, it is asscold. In the climate control the additional heating is activated. Also via the app the pre-climateization with connected charging cable can no longer start. As soon as I switch on the burner, it becomes warm. First remote diagnosis of the workshop: electrical heating module defective. High-voltage team however overloaded, therefore no remedy at short notice. Nevertheless appointment on Thursday “to read out the error memory”. Is this a known problem and how complicated are the works? It was written in the forum already a lot about stand heating/Zusazuheizung etc… Fröstelnde Greetings

  • Part reports for Omanyt rims with ET35, part number 3D0 601 025 AD

Hello together, maybe a little unusual question, but asking doesn’t cost anything Does any of you happen to have a part report for Omanyt rims with ET35, part number 3D0 601 025 AD in pdf? I have to enter the rims and I won’t have time tomorrow to stop by VW. But if someone has the part report and could send it to me, then I would still be able to get in front of the TÜV tomorrow and have the rims registered. Thank you very much, Igor.

  • Replace Electric Window Lifter

Servus dear community, I’ve been proud owner of a Volvo V40 Bj 2000 1.8 122hp for a few days now. Now I wanted to go to work yesterday, stand in front of the barrier to the parking lot and my window doesn’t go down anymore. It was pretty soon clear to me that something about the electrics/mechanics is not right, because the passenger window is still fully functional. I had already thought that I had to act soon because the window has already stalled a bit while driving up and down, but I didn’t expect it to go so fast haha. You don’t hear a noise in the door when you press the button and the disk does not move up or down any piece. Now, however, I’m asking myself some questions about the repair and I wanted to see if anyone can help me here, since I’ve never exchanged/separated an electric window lifter before. To my questions: I can somehow replace the tension on the windows, should I have to check out a certain window?

  • Total economic damage

Hello Elk friends, yesterday it caught my parked elk in front of the house. A lady drove her golf back against my elk at 07:00 in the morning. She caught the rear left side. Was in the afternoon right at the expert who took the damage. The problem is, the opposing insurance does not have to pay for the repair of such old cars. There is max the replacement value 🙁 . And if the insurance thinks the V40 is traded on average at 900 euros, then there is also only the 900 thalers and possibly even less. I will fix the damage as well as keep the costs low. Hope that behind the fender and behind the bumper are not too big damage. The V40 only had to park on the road because he got a brother-elk 🙁 ( XC70 D5 AWD) Let’s see if I can save the V40.

  • V70 T4 Problems Powershift

Good evening from South Tyrol, Actually I wanted to write another report about my T4 after the holiday and the first really long track, but today I did not have a less pleasant experience. Today morning start after an overnight stay in the room Rosenheim further towards South Tyrol. Behind Innsbruck on the Brenner motorway traffic jam and stocking traffic in front of a construction site. It goes there constantly uphill. Temperature moderate at about 22 degrees. Since I know about the sensitivity of the power shift transmission, I switched on P at each a little longer stop. The switching operations were more often rather rough. When it went on again a bit more liquid, then suddenly the gear jumped out. The engine roars up. Gas away, it knocks off. After the construction site it went on a little bit more liquid, same game. But also there back and again a break-out. And that on the mountain in a construction site without a stand strip I had panic and a pretty neck. In the whole time however I have no trouble reports on the display. After the construction site it went on with 80 to 100 km/h. But then again the St Staufstruck had a stop before me.

  • Volvo V40 1.8i – is it reliable?

Hi, I have a question. I just sold my Toyota J7 and got a Volvo V40 1.8i. Has already run 150 TSD, is in a very well-kept condition. Since I can’t afford to do big repairs at the moment, my very direct question: Is it reliable? I just need a reliable car with green badge for the environmental zone. I don’t care about acceleration. A small car like Polo should not be, because they are usually sucked out. What can come of ‘thick’ repairs during mileage, what do I have to pay attention to before I buy it? I am grateful for every tip!

  • C70 II – how much longer? Newbie is looking for advice…

Hello fan community, for a long time I am thinking of buying me a new Volvo C70 II as D3. I am first tested some used ones (2.4 gasoline 170 hp, 2.0D 136 hp), but a new D3 just convinces me more. My reasons for the C70 are this very nice appearance and a lot of space for 4 people. Since the C70 II has already come a little into the years I would like to know if and when a C70 III from Volvo is planned. But neither dealer nor importer express themselves to me about it. Now I have read in Wikipedia that the production should be completely discontinued in summer 2013 due to factory closure – without successors (?). Do you have any further information about it? I’m currently pondering about the questions whether I am buying a C70 II at all or better waiting for the successor, or just now the current model should be bought quickly before there is no more of it. Because an alternative with folding roof is not known to me (or better said: I don’t like all the alternatives). Now I hope for the advice from you pros here… By the worth of buying the premium – and the most expensive sound system is actually enough.
