Hello, I have a problem with my rear V50 side door. The central lock no longer speaks to. When opening with the key or the button, you can hear the cracking of a relay in the door, but the locking button does not stir a millimeter. The stupid thing is, I have activated the mechanical child lock mechanism. however, you can only reach it when the door is open again. If I try to open the door from the inside, then the pin goes up, but disappears when releasing again in the sinking. If I hold the button as soon as it is up and then try to open it with the external handle, it doesn’t work either. I found a link here in the forum how to extend the panels. I have done this with success today, too, without breaking anything. Unfortunately, the locking module hides behind the inner cover. this is attached with 8 screws. But I don’t know if you can also use the window lifter for the inside panel. In any case, I have to solve 3 more screws which fix the locking mechanism. But on this side, you can only get the door lock is open.

Innovation promoters
So much for the topic “upper class” and “innovation carrier” ********* from Pocketnavigation ********** VW Car-Net uses INRIX The provider of traffic information INRIX will supply its data to the real-time navigation system Car-Net of VW. The service is initially to be available for the GTI and GTD models of Volkswagen, which have the Car-Net equipment package. INRIX offers traffic bypass through a real-time analysis of the traffic situation over more than a million road kilometers in Europe. INRIX analyzes real-time data using a combination of sources, including road sensors, reports of accidents and disturbances, the weather, local events and the company’s own crowdsourcing network. ****************************************** So the long-distance travel limousines Gulf and Passat get the important traffic reports. People, when it finally the last one knows that the car is registered. A PII is already a deadborn child. No upper class buyer becomes, after the Phaetonblamage, buy such a vehicle.

Satisfied GP3/3.5 riders? or the anti-mecker thread
Hello together, since almost every second thread in a motz, mocker and (Phaeton) doomsday monologue would interest me if there are also Phaeton drivers who are satisfied with the offered range of performance of the P. and much more if they would order a Phaeton again and why. I also like to start with: As a Wechlser from MB to VW have been quite positively surprised. The 3.0TDI runs unexpectedly and against my biased opinion, which I have formed about various contributions, quite well. I myself come from the V8CDI, whose performance data almost coincided with those of the V10TDI, only that I had 400KG less weight with me. There are very few situations in which I miss this extra performance. The rest of the vehicle convinced me, if even small things would be worth improving. With high probability I will again decide for a P1 next year, with a consistent, minimally changed configuration. A missing CD changer will not have kept me in mind for the past.

V70 MY2002 Total damage
So, after I have been spared from major accidents in the last 15 years, it has now crept properly. Accident at the entrance of a highway., E400CDI with more than 100km/h against my practically standing V70. In the front area the Daimler then popped completely clean. 2 people in the DB completely unharmed, my wife and I also completely unharmed. Pure damage, so I see all this positive. The passenger cell of the V70 is completely intact, the entire front area is completely destroyed. Now to the reason of my contribution. I am completely perplexed about the offers of scrap dealers for the car. Can you imagine what the online residual value exchange brought to the day? To the corner data: EZ 4/02, 144,000 km, Premium D5, Leather, ClimateA, ESSH, Metallic, GSM, RTI. Repurchase value currently 18.000 gross, repair costs without engine testing or testing of the externally impeccable aggregates 20,000 gross. What do you think the car brings back? (Good luck here, please keep it!).

Titangraumetalic?
Hello, I have not yet agreed on the color with my wife. ORE falls out already, too poppy. Now my hold wants to see pictures of the xc90 in Titangraumetalic. Where can I find them? Who has pictures of his and can put them in here. On everything else we have already agreed: D5 automatic 7-seater with summun and parking aid in front and back. In addition, also laminated glass. That was. Ciao, xcnewbie. P.S.: Stand shortly before the order and can not agree on the color ;-(

NoGo’s with used Phaeton?
Hello and warm greetings to the forum, I have fallen in love with the idea of having a “thickness” too. In the foreground is the desire for a proper travel car with high comfort, high reliability, sufficient driving performance and manageable costs. Last, not least, the certain understatement of a “VW” is also against me. My previous conclusion of the pre-nained considerations is a used Phaeton Diesel V6 in basic motorization (IMO what about 240hp). My investment readiness lies around the 20-25 TEU. For this there is a quite wide range of quite enticing Phaetons. Mostly the equipment list is very long, the running performance is between 50 and 130 Tkm and the age between 3.5 and 5 years. Is there with the Phaetons in the context of the uptimes, models or model years, which are less or not recommended? Is there anything better to have and/or other, which is to have a “Mus”? Is there a advantage of having a few Euro more to invest in a lot of equipment?

Engine problem V10
Hello guys, my V10 is having trouble again, at first I noticed only small speed changes with constant speed, the car behaves like if the tires were not round. a slight jerking. Then I was right today with the VW-Mechaniker Diagnose I only noticed so much. Lamdssonde 1 sporadically to fat and still something Then there was still a fan problem circle 2 stuck or lock sporadically. Then I noticed when accelerating that the right exhaust smokes strongly black. Did only on Monday an appointment with the correct Phaeton mechanic. Is this really the Lamda probe, or is there merh behind it? lg Georg

XC90 underrun protection rear
Moin! Again and again I get annoyed when I see the rear silver-coloured plastic “underrun protection” on my XC90 EXE. The thing is so embarrassing and ridiculous and doesn’t fit at all to the rest of the stately car. Question: does anyone know if you can take it off, WITHOUT that there are holes in the rear of the rear of the car even more desecrating? Or is there even a underrun protection in the accessories that just doesn’t look so fippy??? I saw the new Mercedes ML the day before yesterday, he had a underrun protection that looked really metal and was also wider and more harmonious. Is anyone an idea?? Thanks! Gruss Michael

Information about Phaeton II
Hello, in the new “AUTO Zeitung” there are information about the new Phaeton II.http://www.autozeitung.de/online/render.php?render=7451 The new Phaeton is supposed to become more dynamic, but also a little smaller than before. About 5 metres in length. The car should be located between the Audi A6 and Audi A8. The earliest start should be about 2010, it is almost certain that it will come. Some components of Audi should be taken over, e.g. the engine range (it could be that even the V12 TDI comes, who knows…). A photo montage of the new Phaeton is also included, but it is of course in the stars whether it will appear like that… Greetings Peter

It’s still warranty on it – but well.. Thanks for your answers Gruss from Paris
