Hello dear Volvo driver! because soon the winter is approaching again and it is supposed to get really cold again, I would like to do something against the freezing of my windscreen wiper nozzles. At high speeds on the highway they freeze again and again, because the alcohol at the nozzle exit through the wind quickly vanishes and thus freezes the remaining water. I read in an older forum entry that someone has installed for his Volvo heated nozzles from a BMW. Only this has not been with a V70 I, apparently, as these can not fit with me. The cut-out in the bonnet is with my round, diameter approx. 10mm. The BMW nozzles E34 are rectangular. Does anyone have the same problem here and possibly a solution? Normally at the place of the nozzles are cut-outs in the engine hood lining, which, I assume, bring the engine heat to the nozzles. Unfortunately, this is not enough with my Volvo apparently. Antenna amplifier V70 – where? Radio reception bad
Hello, unfortunately, in my V70 (`98) the radio reception is miserable. I have found that the primary antenna (I have the radio system with two antennas left and right in the side disk) no longer provides a reasonable reception. Also a setup on the radio (I have set up a second radio of the same design for the test) regarding the antenna amplifier on/off shows no effect. It all indicates that the antenna amplifier is the problem. Can someone tell me where it is installed? I would not have to go on the miserable search. Thank you in advance!

PRESENTATION+PROBLEME VOLVO C70 COUPE 2,3 T5 239PS
Hello guys, since yesterday proud owner of a fully equipped VOLVO C70 COUPE 2,3 T5 239PS AUT. (DOLBY SURROUND CAPELLE 🙂 Unfortunately, some things have been noticed very negative during the transfer: -Zahntriebelwechsel inkl. Rollen und WaPu+Öl+Filter+Keili fresh but problem: it stutters somehow when accelerating more strongly almost feels like ignition dropouts (ZK+Zündkabel???) No indicator light on, sometimes SERVICE but they didn’t have a rear control in the workshop:-( What can that be, really only candle or cable?? -Is the COUPE, but that the driver window/F door is already loud as from 80km/h as sow!? what can man do here??? With driver side everything OK – the sliding roof “klappert” , how can I fix it?? Large people ( 195 cm) in V 70 II
Hello, who is as big as me (195 cm) and has a V70 comparable Volvo. ( XC 70, is S 80 compatible to the B-pillar ?) With the adjustable “upholstery” and “backseat all the way down and back” it goes. However, I feel the space conditions in total as “beengt”. No fear ! The seats in the combos of VW,AUDI,Toyota, Honda, Fiat, Opel can be forgotten in contrast to the V 70 all. ( just tried out all mentioned ) XC90 is for me no alternative ! (social envy – colleagues drive all golf or smaller) Is it also so? Greeting Jens

Lupo 3L: Change clutch, remove gearbox
How do I extend the left drive shaft, which is to be tied high / extended? Should the shaft also be removed from the wheel hub and how can I create appropriate space? (Tripod joint? see e.g. Etzold S. 123, do the screws sit under the protective cover? Does the tripode joint fall apart during the removal attempt? Is the transmission oil to be drained? Must be removed from the wheel bearing housing for the removal of the joint cones and this be swivelled to the side? Reason: The direct circuit clutch cable is torn. At 190 000 km of running performance “normal”. Have to change the pressure plate, clutch disc, rear bearing (comp. “coupling set”). Thank you for reply

Request for help Lupo 1.4l does not start after starting aid
Hello Lupo specialists, I have here a 1.4l Lupo, the Fzg. data I once set as a photo of the sticker in the boot below. The problem – I gave with the Lupo start aid (as a donor), also successful. When the other Fzg ran, I removed the start aid cable (minus pole first) from the Lupo. During or immediately after that the engine of the Lupo went off. Let itself start again to go out again shortly afterwards. Since then he can no longer move to the run. What happened, can you give tips or help?

Folding roof opens only with help
Hello so my folding roof opens and closes only partially alone, I already built the engine apart and replaced the plastic gear wheel with a brass wheel. The roof just creaks thinking that gear wheel what the Bowden train is skipping this, only what now do..? I have already greased everything with the hand pushed back and forth several times and oiled the Bowden trains. Can one renew the Bowden train or replace it? Did already want the gear wheel what goes on the Bowden trains something apply so that it does not jump so easily only seems to be nitrated and thus can not be welded. What else does anyone have an idea…? Thanks in advance

Unbalance through snow
Servus mitanand, my XC70 gives me a lot of pleasure, even in the deeper snow, through which I am partly professionally conditioned, partly privately motivated to travel again and again (why should I drive around the forest, if there is such a wonderful forest path in the middle, which is just not cleared now to the poodle core. I have mounted the Dunlop Winter SP3, on steel rims, original Volvo with round hole. Every time I had such a deep snow ride, the snow sticks to the rims and ensures such a marked imbalance of the wheels that a faster country roads or even highway ride is impossible. So get out, clean rims, continue driving. Not bad, but it annoys me, even with no one of its predecessors. Do you have that, if you do not do so. Can you treat the rims?

Duplex rear silencer
Moinsen! With my elk (V70I AWD) a new rear silencer is due. It should become a duplex system, so much is certain, but I would need your advice if a sport exhaust would make sense. The vehicle has no engine tuning and will not get it either. Have already looked at the forum, but have not become very clever. For me there are basically 2 variants: 1. Original rear silencer from the V70I R AWD MJ 2000 or 2. Duplex sport exhaust Does anyone have experience with the original silencer? What about the durability? Or is a sports exhaust system more useful? Advantages I have found out so far while durability through stainless steel and better discharge of the exhaust gases. Disadvantage, possibly too loud sound. (Would it be rather discreet and unobtrusive) How does both systems look like with the registration? ABE have the least. Rejoice about tips and hints. How long does a 850 hold
Hello , let’s ask a question , I drive a Volvo 850 2.0 from 1995 , circuit , so far 306000 km , first clutch . Has been regularly maintained , I wonder currently , how long will it last . Since 5000 km it squeaks when the clutch is kicked . I know a statement like at least 500000 km , so nobody can say , always depends on the maintenance . Interestingly how much KM have your cars already down . And what is that noise from the clutch . Mfg
