  • XC70 -> Strange defect in the cooling circuit/sensory …

    Hi together, my moose is really worried for the first time. At the Alpenrace I pushed the behavior still on the steep passes – but even there T5-Kusi wrote that it should not get so hot (with him was no movement of the Temp. indicator from the middle position fixed). At least outside temperatures above +30°C. I drive the XC70 now since 2003 and have seen the Temp. pointer still NIE above the middle of the instrument scale. Even in the AWD use in high summer with trailer operation not! The error now occurs however also at night drives (approx. +20°C and at high (>200km/h) speeds here in D. First it was noticed with Saturday morning (Switzerland, at first pass). The Temp. went quite fast and stopped at the beginning of the red area …

  • Increased insurance contribution due to chip tuning

    After my change of vehicle from D5 to 2,4d with Heico Chip 190PS, my insurance now “finally” sends me the billing with calculation of the insurance contributions. Result: Compared to the previous year significantly increased contributions! I then recalculated with my data and notice that the insurance has increased the contribution by almost 40% in the vehicle insurance – without stating reasons. A phone call has gone ahead, by wanting to have accurate documents about vehicle new value and costs of chipting, which I of course sent without any consideration. Have you experienced similar experience? Who can give me an insurance that allows this registered and approved chip without surcharge? I currently pay despite SF11 full 700,- in the half-year liability and TK/VK, in direct comparison with the HUK, for example, that would be about twice what would be possible according to my key numbers and other data… philipp

  • Keyless-Entry Spacetourer

    Had the problem several times now that the door handle sensors of driver and passenger door did not work for the keyless entry. When opening/opening the door did not open – but the sliding door was immediately (so the key was detected). And it was not possible to close it either. On the next trip it worked again – and then one day later it didn’t work again. Does anyone know the problem?

  • Winter complete wheels Spacetourer, aluminium wheels, COC

    We want to buy our new Spacetourer winter tyres. As complete wheels for me aluminium rims. My problem: if I search in the various online shops for complete wheels for the Spacetourer I get (depending on the shop) different rims offered. However, all do not fit from the combination of the information to those in the COC. There is required: 7.00×16 ET46 Or 7.00×17 ET46 I have already found some with 7.00, but with a press-in depth of 37, instead of 46. Does someone have a tip where there is such a thing? And why do the tyre shops suggest other rims, although I have selected the Spacetourer as model? Thank you.

    Hello together The Mini (R50) is sold. It was nice, it was not easy for me. Now it should be a convertible. Whether Cooper or Cooper S I don’t know yet, I’m more concerned about top and body-specific problem zones in the first generation convertible. I know the rest too much.   • Windshield Volvo C70I Coupé – How much for?

    Hi, after 220tkm my windshield is in urgent need of replacement – stone strokes / glass bursters, scratches, the bars are already loosened. The TÜV has already mobbed, but was just still kulant… The offer of the local glass shiner was absolutely outrageous – €750, of which over €450.- alone for the disk. I wanted to search for the first time, and see if I at least get the disk cheaper. To the info: Bin not Kaskoversichert, but Barpayer! The search for a front panel for the C70I Coupé remained however unsuccessful in the net – the Limo/combi disk definitely does not fit. Neither ebay, Google nor various Volvo-specific (Skandix, scanimport, JuTu / alberet etc) or Generalist-partisans have listed anything for the C70I Coupé, only for the Folvo C70II with folding roof from ’06 (from approx. €230). HN/TN 9101-778, production date 02/2002, C70I Coupé half a tip 2.4T. Hatting ring?

  • Nissan Micra K12 Cabrio Deck opens only half

    Hello, I have a problem with the cover of my Nissan Micras K12 Cabrios (Bj. 2006), that it gives up its mind half way. I then called the ADAC, because I was still on the way. We had nothing else to do but manually close it. After re-activating the switch to open the roof, we had the same problem again. Sadly, I had bought the car recently and he had never made problems until the car wash. It’s just a guess that it was completely on the car wash, but think less, because the roof is relatively dense. What do I have to pay attention to ? The motorcycle looks quite good. What I noticed when looking at : The chrome of the headlight is not flush at the upper end. Is the only “wrong” composed ? There are no scratches or accident damage. The engine “rass” when it is warm – is that normal ? “N” goes bad at ampelstops. Is this the bargain of the year? Peis performance is 19000 Eur The windshield is not attached on the picture, but is there. Hop or Flopp ? Thanks

  • weird error message in the on-board computer

    Hi, yesterday morning I start the car, drive about 300m, the elk switches to gas, still stops at a junction and when switching from 1 to the second gear, I had a speed of va. 2500 rpm comes following error message in BC “slowly drive or turn up” In addition, the engine symbol in the right indicator lit up. Has anyone ever had this before? Does this perhaps hang together with my stubborn throttle valve (see here or even with the gas system? In any case, I then turned off the engine, waited 10s and started again. (Bill Gates sends greetings) Anyway, I did not have the error again until now. After various defects on the elk (gear expansion wg. resinated fat, lock exchange, bar flaps, roof sky and parking disc holder vibrating, brake assistent defect, defective front axle bearing, oil carbon deposits throttle) I doubt so slowly on the elk quality… Ciao, Eric
