  • Redesign XC90

    ‘On the other hand, I’ve been a proud owner of an XC90 D5 AWD Executive since last Wednesday, which I bought with mileage 34043 used. The Dickelch was also in top-kept condition. And when I first got used to the automatic (all my predecessors were switches), is certainly still ‘an improvement possible. The only minus point on my new elk, because of which I had previously used some thought time, is as before the ( not existing) color: he has not received a positive quote from all of the early days but I’ll have known about it again.

Which cables / adapters are needed by and where do I get them? 2. Which mounting frame do I need? Do also those that are intended for the V70 / S60? 3. Do I have to set anything on the CAN-BUS system? I would be very happy about an answer.

  • Continuous red luminous central latch

    Hello Phateonists, if I tie my Phaeton with the key, then the central lock will flash several times and then it will light up permanently red instead of flashing. After about 1 min. the central lock will flash back normal. Doors are slashed. Battery in the key is still full, the green indicator light will still light up every time you act on it. First wanted to ask me here whether the safety guard has one off or what else it could mean before I take it back to the friendly and take it apart again the whole wire harness for my small change.     Good day, I wanted to drive backwards from the yard this morning and I noticed that the visible part in the picture was on the pavement. I telephoned with VW and they told me, after I had given the part salesman the number, that the part is for the water flow and the car remains mobile. My question is now, because I don’t get an appointment before Thursday, whether the part is just back on and if yes, how long it takes, or whether the effort is very high? I had already informed about this and have become aware of the jam air sensors.   • C70 II: Battery defective or do I have power eaters?

    Hello, I had my battery replaced in the C70 II (diesel) on 07.01.2011 for the last time. Now that it was completely emptied, I called the ADAC to the start aid. The “yellow angel” told me that it was still intact, but now – after 2 days – it is again so empty that I can not even get the central locking up/to be with the car key. Can I assume that I need a new battery? Can it be that I suddenly have a power eater? I have already had the phenomenon that after locking the door, the 2 door lock lamps inside did not go out any more often. So far the problem had always been solved (for example: move the vehicle again for a short time and lock it again). But now, the lights burned permanently and I removed the safety no. 64, in the hope to prevent the discharge so…which unfortunately did not work out again: it is empty again. Can anyone recommend a battery here?
