G 400 CDI: Path of suffering or pure emotion ?

Who would consider the purchase of a used G 400 CDI today? In my opinion, the 400 CDI is one of the most interesting Gs of all times. Not the best, but interesting, because of the OM 628. On the best list are probably G 500, G 320, G 300 TD, G 230GE. And on the diesel theme: there are some G-fans waiting for the W463b in the 350d version out there. SL55 Gear question…
Hello, I drove a SL55 Amg today and when I happened something very strange at one time and again. At the time of acceleration only the speed went up at once, but without transferring the power. Something like that has never happened before. So I wanted to know if this could possibly indicate a gear damage ect.? Then I went into N position and left the car a bit rolling and then back in D. but it still didn’t work. Only after a retrace of this formwork procedure it went again. Did this somehow frightening and wanted to know if something like that can happen or if something seems to be wrong.

320SL (R129) Euro2 manufacturer’s certificate
Hello, I have recently been owner of a 320SL Bj 95. Unfortunately the vehicle is still registered with the key number 14 (=Euro 1). After intensive search (googling I have found by now, which the vehicle has already from factory Euro 2, but for the re-encryption is necessary but a manufacturer certificate is necessary (why the previous owner did not make it is creepy to me, has probably money to give away). According to the name Mercedes representative can get me this certificate, but that should cost me 50,-€ ! The road traffic office however also satisfied with a copy of this certificate. Unfortunately I could find such a one on the net only for other models (W124). Does anyone here have such a certificate, which he can scan and send to me? Already many thanks Günter

What are the tops or flops? To me… I’m looking for a new car because my VW Jetta will become a piggy bank after 15 years. In my search I have already come across Ford Kuga/EcoSport. Now I found the new Mokka very attractive. Financially it would fit to the approx. 2000€ budget. I drive Quad and my free time and would like to pull a hanger. Also I need enough space as soon as the family grows. I look forward to your experience values, opinions and suggestions!

That’s because I think that others might be faced with the same decision. I decided to exchange the summer tyres on our mokka-e directly for all-year tyres (GJR). In the Rhine-Main area, the snow days are manageable and we managed quite well on other vehicles with GJR. If someone asks, there is no special GJR for electric vehicles. However, you have to pay attention to reinforced tyres (often with XL in the name) . Otherwise, just the dimension which are registered on the rims and the load index. The speed index is rather irrelevant. I personally decided for the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF 2 215/55 R18 99V XL . This is one of the few “premium tires” which has both rolling resistance and wet grip class B. Of course, this can not keep with a Michelin Primacy 4 with rolling resistance A, but I still know the more consumption than second car should be painful in the urban environment. However, the tire also has a more proud price of 130€/piece. If the wheel resistance is not more expensive to me. If I try to buy a new car from Michelin.

Incredibly, the interlocutor in Berlin was not aware of this deviating determination in the “Young Stars Guarantee” on demand at all. How do you see this? Do you keep penance?
