Hello to the round, I would like to buy a used Seat Leon Cupra ST and was at the dealer’s today. I like the car if it is really accident-free, as the dealer says. An online check of the chassis number did not reveal any abnormalities. Data: Leon ST 2.0 TSI 4Drive 7593/AMY First registration: 04.04.2019 KM Stand: 48,500 1 previous owner Tüv new in April I am particularly surprised by the luggage compartment, side skirts and engine compartment, but I am also not a car mechanic. Luggage compartment: the original sticker of the old tips on the internet should be on the floor is not there. Side skirt: the paint is wavy, the dealer said that would be normal. Engine compartment: The welds work after processed. How is your opinion? Thanks for the help.

Purchase advice 916 Spider
Good morning Together, I would like to treat myself to a little flicker for the daily way to work. The way is 85 KM easy distance, so 170 km a day on 4 days a week. Planned and looked at so far the Spider from Bj 2000 with the 2,0 TS. I was very nice to drive. There would be another gas conversion planned. Now the question, how it is ordered about the long-distance suitability of the vehicle ? Are there experience values here or are the daily long-distance nothing for the Alfa engine ? For tips I would be grateful

Cooling water disappears / cylinder head seal?
Hello you, I’ve had a new car for 2 weeks, until now I’m not at all satisfied! Drive a Seat Leon 1.6 tdi Bj2014 with 166000 km When I bought the car I had a relatively long way home (300km), I left the car at home for about 30 min. After that I started the car and he brought me the error message cooling water level low! For me it was extremely funny because the car was freshly checked by 2 Tüvs. So I filled the coolant and continued to watch, at the beginning rose and sank the coolant. But after 2 days it remained constant. I drove the rest of the days only short distances, while the coolant level remained constant! Until today, I drove again a long distance 300km. I checked the coolant level from neugier, it was only slippery under minimum. So I opened the coolant balance tank and still heard a hissing it streamed again (after that it went over the overflow) . The coolant level sank again did not have to fill up any more of the oil again. I didn’t do not have any trouble.

R230 gear shift clamps to “P”
Hello, I hope there are now experts who can help me! I have already read the other topics where it is also about the selector lever, but I can’t easily make it up to me….so I’ve changed the brake light switch, but the problem remains. With me the selector lever sticks to P when I start and go to the brake it doesn’t go out at first, then try 3-8 x with the pressed brake and then go. If I stay on the brake and go back to P then it doesn’t clamp and I can switch to normal. But then I let go to P the brake then it clicks in the selector lever and it always gets different again the 5-20 sec. If it clamps and I start the car again at short notice then it goes right away…… Look for me as if it wasn’t a mechanical problem like some have described here!?? Hope you have with RAT! THX JOE

AMG rear light R230 rear fog lamp
Hello guys, wanted to ask you about this, on my SL500 I installed the AMG rear lights. As far as everything is OK, however, I had to find out that the rear fog lamp only works on the left side. On the right side no bulb is defective, voltage (mass) is also present, everything is fine. In the extended condition of the rear fog lamp I also gave power to the rear fog lamp for the test and see because it works. Only in built-in condition my SL wants to burn only the left side of the rear fog lamp. I wrote the seller to the rear fog lamp and he answered the following: Rear fog lamp can only work in German traffic because otherwise it can be changed with brake light. Is the right? Who knows it? And how does it look at your rear AMG lights? Greeting

purchase recommendation gtv v6
Hello together Since my childhood I’ve been fascinated by the GTV. It’s just such a beautiful work of art from passion that I want to finally realize myself. As imperfect as it is, it’s also perfect. It’s definitely supposed to be a v6. Only there are 2 variants… 3.0 and 3.2 Which of the two is to be recommended? The one older and weaker, the other refined and stronger. However, what about the robustness of the respective engines and maintenance/replacement costs? And what is to be paid attention to except the typical, like complete service booklet, guarantee,… It will always be only a 2nd car, or max. 10tkm a year (time to Italy and couple of fun routes) Please ask for your tips and help gruß Bostal

Ask the Mod`s: how is the Volvo Forum organized when the XC60 comes?
Hello Volvianer, hello moderators, in the autumn comes the XC60. When does a subforum exist ? All XC`s come into ONE forum (makes me think) or are XC90 and XC60 in separate forums ? Or how should this be organized in the future ? There would be the following variants : 1) all XC`s no matter which model, which year of construction, in ONE forum 2) only the newer ones from 2007 in ONE forum 3) for all XC no matter which year of construction A main forum, in it subforums for the individual models (as with BMW X series) 4) still platform-dependent forums (PKW,KOMBIs and XCs of the same platform come into the same forum), would mean that today’s XC90ers are in other forums than the coming from 2009. And the XC60ers anyway in other forums (beim V50 or at V70 or somewhere else ???) Maybe a mod already has an idea or sometimes a survey ? Also the Mercedes GLK is coming in the autumn, there were the more Mod`s on forum and have already set up for the same thing.

V70 III 3.2 Exhaust system
moin also, drive with undercalculations for 15 years Volvo 850 /V70I T5 and now I have ordered the new V70 III with the 3.2 L engine. To my choice was BMW 530 and Audi A6 3.2 not only because of my good experiences from the past (I have also driven BMW for a long time) but also because of the optics (yes, I know there is a topic of dispute among Volvo drivers) the Volvo. One point was also the rear view with the two tailpipes in aluminium optics shown in the brochures. Even after consultation with the purchase end of 2007 I was assured that the system is that way. The configurator on the Volvo HP proved this to be the case. So now the new one came and I have to find out that the system is no longer visible, so the tailpipes run under the rear apron. I am rather disappointed and consider whether I will take the car at all. Who has the same experience and can tell me how Volvo reacted to it? Did I actually have a right as a buyer to the equipment as the HAGES would be offered during the sale?

Verso R1, 1.8 does not start …
… The scenario on holiday: A trip to Croatia, Hungary with WW and then back. In -H- evening off, in the morning we wanted to buy bissel. Rein in the Verso, wanted to start … nothing. No rattling, no click, only light buzzing from behind (petrol pump). Hmm! fuses checked, actually everything possible. Then I looked for someone for start-up help. At the battery it was also not, did not bring anything. Well, then I called after -D- and made the contact to the protection letter. After about 3 hours came the Hungarian breakdown aid, with a visually beautiful Sprinter as service mobile / tow truck, the strong man got out and ……….. Now the question to you: What could that be? I write it later already, because something was new to me and happened to me again today.

E12 Cooler leaks – experience with cooler poet???
Hello, I (total layman in terms of cars) just got my E12 – meanwhile 130,000 km on the clock – from the customer service. It is leaking cooler. That means within two years the level of coolant (pink) dropped from Max. to Min….. they also gave the estimate. Complete: 600 €. Not very little…. As layman I would say… big leak can not be there…..if in 2 years – what I know – 3 liters of coolant escape.. At Amazon I have seen products like “cooler diggers” etc… Lt. the reviews does not seem bad. Ask the professionals: Let change or try with cooler poet and after 3 months look how much coolant escapes.
