Hello community, driving in the snow with this device is so great that I have already driven over 3000 km over the holidays! Yesterday I picked up a neighbor from the toboggan run and then drove up the mountain, where only a tractor with chains drove. After the second turn on a steep piece I had to stop because the tractor pulled a tree trunk on the road – when I had some space again – start up – look there, no problem! Today again a photo tour through the snowy pre-alps over tractor paths – driving gives me now no adrenaline kick anymore, as at the S60 on my photo trips! What does the control ramp of the DSTC look like??? A few photos in the supplement!

Calling in the XC 60
I’m still at home in the BMW world, but I have an XC 60 in my sights as the next car. Now I have a few questions to call: At BMW I have the following options: A. I can put the phone in a so-called charging tray and that has two consequences: 1. Sending/reception goes over the in-vehicle electronics/antenna and is thus much better than the mobile antenna solo. 2. The battery of the phone is charged as long as the phone is in the charging tray. B. I can pair the phone over Bluetooth, leave the phone on the passenger seat and call over the hands-free system. In my previous time with S 80 there was a fixed phone, sending/reception went over the in-vehicle electronics/antenna, however it was always quite a fuzz to keep the phone numbers on both Sim cards (one in the vehicle, the other in the phone) at the same level. How can I imagine making the phone call in the XC 60? Just pairing over Bluetooth? Is there something like a charging tray? Can I somehow charge the battery of the phone?

Intermediate level Hyundai i30
Hello, have my i30 now for almost exactly 10 months and am so far after about 12,500 km largely satisfied. Only complaints would be: – suspension could be somewhat more comfortable, especially rear – steering be a little more direct – turning circle a little less – a sixth gear for speeds over 120km/h, or to reduce fuel consumption. All in all no defects, but rather suggestions for improvement for the future. How about you, how do your i30 run like this, perhaps with indication of the machine and annual mileage. Wheel change at H-1
Hi Leuts, after 20 years I flattened a tire again. Just as it looks at the shattered ground of a New Year’s Eve cult bottle, which was hidden in the snow. Too bad about the new kind of tire, which is irreparable. But fortunately the air escaped slowly, so that the wheel change could be carried out at home. With the tool on the roadside this would have been a failure. The supplied wobbly and foldable lever to the wheel nut is about as short as the handle of a frying pan. Without my proven wheel cross, which from today will always be in the car, it would have been completely impossible to solve the wheel nuts with this cluttered toy toy! The car lifter needs (feeled) 500 crank turns to lift the car. With the “pan handle” put on-half-turn-off-……… it would have been a half-day occupation. With the gun from the home key box (21’s key) it was painfully. The spare wheel is something to get used to the rope wind.

do birds stand on silver?
Hello together. I’ve been driving a Volvo s80 2.9l bj. 2004 for 5 months now. The color is silver met. Now to the point. My father drives a black met. Mercedes e-class I drive a Volvo s80 silver met. and with me the birds always shit on the car and not on the Mercedes. The Mercedes is standing just next to my car but always gets my cracker :s ^^ I cleaned it up today and washed it afterwards I went home to eat. After an hour I went to my car and what do I see? Bird shit on my roof on the hood and outside mirror. I already have a garage but if I take my car out for the weekend every time ^^ I bought the car in Genve but lived 300km further away in eastern Switzerland at Lake Constance. But I don’t think the birds have followed me What do you mean…is that it’s the color? or do I just have bad luck? gruss jimmy

Meal, I have already been reading here for some time and try to absorb as much information as possible. I have now ordered an XC 60 D4 with 8-speed geartronic in Powerblau (though the finance minister wished) in the summum version. There is also: Sensus Connect High Performance driver assistance package keyless drive LM R18 Leda black active xenon with dyn. corner light rain sensor dig. instrumentation cruise parking back leather cushions (unfortunately no sports seats) Against payment has been booked: Sensus Navigation parking aid front rear camera climate package VOC (Volco on call, standing heating, rear seats heated, steering wheel heating) side and rear window darkened I did not use the rear flap automatic system because it was partly reported about problems and on the composite glass variant in side and rear windows to change it anyway, but it would be interesting to know something later.

Smart Repair ?
I actually wanted to take pictures of our 4 weeks of new V60 for you… I’ve lost my pleasure at the moment. When I came back from shopping, shock. See photos. Of course nobody saw anything, the causer has turned out of the dust. That would build a new bumper, 1200 €. Smart repair would cost 150 €. The paintmaker thinks that, after the smart repair, everything is optically good and you also see no color difference. How are your experiences?

Engine damage, turbo damage, gear damage, or the cat’s broken?
Hello to all Motortalkers Have a problem with my Phaeton v10 5.0 tdi So, when I start the car the engine is running restless and loud like 1.9tdi. When gas is giving Pfeifft Turbo(But like Tudbo when no smoke comes from the exhaust? At D,R,N Ruckelt very strong which is also funny because the car bought 1 month ago and the previous owner gave me a bill of friendly that the transmission would be overhauled together (converter, O-rings, oil etc). When I switch to D the car rolls very slowly. When I give full gas it goes up to 2000 turns Totally slowly afterwards it also does not accelerate like a v10 with 313ps, maybe like a car with 80-100ps. While that gear switches not normally Rückert Extreme. If I stay longer time while acceleratoring on gas (Turbo) will probably switch off because then there is no more power. And if it is downhill it remains standing or at maximum 10kmh it’s easy to read.(I have noticed this before).

Summer tyre recommendation
Hello everyone, as soon as the tyre change time is again, I wanted to listen to your summer tyre recommendation. Problem with my Phaeton is the only approved tyre dimension with 255/45 R18 103 Y with a V6 TDI. There are not so many tires… So if someone has experiences with tires in the same size and load I would be happy to read them here. Especially after my fall with the “test winner” winter tires I trust now on the real information from the circles of the experienced Phaeton drivers. Gruss capdoc

our new one is almost there
our new XC70 OR is almost there hello together. my wife and I did it and ordered us an XC70 OR D5 in the march. now it is almost there and unfortunately stands still until next Friday at the dealer, because the trailer coupling is retrofitted. am curious if it is also as reliable as our vw bora, which we have driven more than 6 years without any problems. I hope that the all-wheeler proved itself, especially in winter with trailer. the all-wheel drive should not have been so great so far, but has been apparently improved. since someone has experiences with the instant traction system and geartronic? thanks for your answer.
