Hello friends, I came across a new headlight lamp on the internet today and also at Amazon. It’s called: “Carchet 2 H7 5 CREE-XPE Q5 LED car lamp. Should according to the manufacturer 6000- 6500k have white. Can this new type of lamp actually be installed in clear view main headlights at the V40, BJ 2003, MJ 2004, 90 kw, 122 hp and 1.8 machine? What will the TüV and the StvO say or write there? Because with the old H7 lamp of Osram the Night Breaker, I have already got considerable difficulties this year at the TüV. It was said that they are too bright. The new Night Breakers of Osram cost here in Slovakia 28 € and are even brighter. I look forward to many answers from you and say thank you for that!

Volvo V40 (year of construction 2004): air circuit breaker / exhaust gas odour from ventilation
Hello people For a short time now I have two problems concerning the ventilation: 1. Umflutschalter ohne Funktion If, for example, I press the button to shut off the fresh air supply, the orange LED on the switch lights up, but it still smells like exhaust gases. When switched off, there was a subtle snoring from the ventilation in the old days and a swell of fresh air came from the upper ventilation nozzles. Now nothing happens when switching off. Where can the defect lie? Is the mechanical or electronic nature? How can it be diagnosed? 2. Exhaust smell from ventilation For about a month I have been feeling that during the journey between there is a swall of burnt oil odor in the interior. At first I thought that this came from a vehicle running ahead, but it also occurred when I was travelling all alone on a road. I would not be aware that my car would burn oil and smoke/ruze into the interior. At first I thought that it was from a previous vehicle, but when I was travelling on a road alone, I could also be helpful to have a look at the filter.

MKL lights up and on ABS every now and then
Good day dear community, need your expertise because I am only layman. Engine control light is on and rarely it shows errors in the board computer in the VDC. ABS it almost always shows up and therefore I had it read out twice. In the first workshop the reading took good 15 minutes and he spit out a total of 22 errors and in the second workshop only 6 errors. Amongst them was: ABS sensor faulty front left – is on the shopping ticket – exactly which one I don’t know, because they somehow want to know about it, I have no idea. I think ignition errors or failure with the cylinder 3.5 and 6 – thought of new spark plugs – Brisk tuning spark plugs are in the in-cook car. On the display in the cockpit I also don’t know if I can trust the 90 KM country road and city/village and it shows me only about: 75 degrees to? I thought of coolant temperature sensor – but where is the exactly ? Thermostat ? Have seen, but there is ESP on it, so KMT sensor with ESP probably knar and it shows me about 2.5, but it’s quiet for me.

Hitting the landing gear while driving
Hu people, I have next problem again. My Alfa 147 JTD 115 PS 1.9 Bj.2004 ,5 door, has low-laying spring by 30 mm lower. Until last time everything was ok, for a week hit on right rear side when I drive on impact holes or road canals, I notice then that is not normal because before was not the case. After my check the spring are completely and nothing is broken as far as the spring leg and also the spring bearing above is also ok. After my measurement on straight level with the customs stick it clearly shows that the right back side where I feel the strike is 1 cm lower than the rear left side. My question now: is the shock absorber in the bucket? My colleague has made the car up and also notices that the hand brake (fixed parking brakes) on right side is too tight d.h.with pulled out Hanbrake the wheel can move hard behind only right side , left side dret, with pulled hand brake, the wheel is fixed again the left side has to start with the left hand brake.

€ 400 for the 1st inspection V70 D5?
Dear Mitelche, although it is already a few days ago that I received the invoice, I am still pissed off. € 400 for the first inspection at 20,000 Km! What should then the 80,000 cost then? At my last V70 D5 two years ago the first cost 300 Öre (which I did not find cheap). new XC90 – card update failed / Download Center / no connection to service
Hello, I have a brand new XC90 (my second one) and as usual had the card material updated via the SIM card (in the car). Apparently something went wrong, because in the Download Center there is only “no connection to the service” after start. I can uninstall apps, but not install new ones. I tried to install the latest cards manually via USB, everything went smoothly, no problems. The problem persists. And yes: I am online (via WLAN tried, and via the SIM) all other access to eg weather or glympse work perfectly. Does anyone else have the problem? Can you uninstall the Download Center app and reinstall it? Date with the friendly get only in mid-May. Thanks and greeting

XC90 – Sensus – Card update does not work – HELP
Hello together, after having downloaded my new elk for 3 days yesterday the message “updates available” was displayed. All cards are version 1134, available is 1216. After I downloaded the most important countries for me was my procedure as follows: MAC Download (e.g. Sensus_Update_SPA_Benelux.dmg) installed and 2 files loaded: EU_UR146_BE-LU-NL_1216.DBINFO EU_UR146_BE-LU-NL_1216.zip These are copied to a 32 gig and stick (FAT32- checked with the hard drive utility) and checked with the program with “check download” data are checked, after a few seconds of green arrow (ok). So, then off into the elch and that probed: Try 1: ignition on, Navi started, USB stick in the USB port in the center console MIT white edge?NIX try 2: ignition on, Navi started, USB stick in the center console WITHOUT white edge?

a happy new year of the entire volvo community…… and yes, before I start, I could measure it myself, but maybe someone knows it here….-) I want to buy a wardrobe for the week at ikea and wanted to hear your opinion, if the three packages in which the cabinet is in fit into my elch (clear, combi)… I would of course put everything around/extend the front seat and push the packages “senkrecht” and cross-pull… the dimensions: width: 77cm height: 12cm length: 200cm 1 package ———————————- width: 59cm height: 8cm length: 209cm 2 packages I don’t think it’s possible….what do you think?

New XC60 D5 in R-Design
Hello Volvisti also I would like to introduce briefly my new acquisition. On Friday I pick him up. It was this time an xc60 D5 AWD GT in R-design. Savile Grey Packages:Business, Driverassi pro, Light, Xenium, Speed Abh. Servo steering, dark windows back and auxiliary heating. I am still running an XC60 summum in Twilight Bronze. Unfortunately, another car driver has pressed in the back part of my car and so the decision for the, really “cool” R-design was quickly liked. I put on a few photos. (Ohne pics geht nix) I am actually reading more than I write here, but I would like to thank you for all the good suggestions and solutions that I could find in the forum over the last years. This time I bought the XC without a test drive. I am very excited about the suspension and the seats in R-design. Rainer
