Moin, since now 2 1/2 months I drive the 2.0 100 KW from MY 2003. As long as I have the car, I try to bring the consumption to about the specified values with an 8 before the comma. My route profile consists of 10 KM suburbs / country road with 3 traffic lights the rest of 15 KM is highway. The Fzg. stands in a protected underground garage at about 0 to 2°C when I start. As far as the facts, now to my guess. I have the engine only at operating temperature. lt. display when I drive on the highway. That is from the garage to the AB drive 10 KM or. Driving time between 15 – 20 min. To me this is honestly for a gasoline much too long. Why I also suspect that the consumption is so high because the thermosstat is defective. How fast comes with this weather your V/S40 at temperature? Or do you still have ideas, what it can be with my car, that I quickly thank. Although I drive so defensively, that I almost become busy with the traffic, I do not tell you about the problem.

Injectors defective?
Hi, I read out my injectors yesterday because I heard a metallic flap from the engine compartment when I was in cold engine and outside temperatures around 15 degrees when I was giving gas and the engine jerked in the speed range 1200-2000 revolutions. Speed indicator did not wobble. When the engine has reached operating temperature, the noise is almost gone and the jerking can no longer be felt. The values can be seen as shown in the appendix. Starting from the limit values for calibration points 1 and 2 of the respective injectors (-45ms and -15ms) shown in the web, at least the injectors 1 & 2 are worn out. The injector 4 is close to the wear limit. Or do I see the wrong thing? The car is a passat B7, 140hp, switch, BJ2011, Mj2012 and has about 159500Km down. How is your opinion?

Volvo S60 various questions
Hello dear community, after years of visits and explorations, I have now also created an account to clarify questions on my part. It is the Volvo S60, which I would like to add to my 18th car this year. And these questions would be the following: 1. In how far is it possible to upgrade the pre-facelift model, to a facelift model? (clear glass headlights, steering wheel etc.) 2. How many kilometers does an S60 usually last without problems? Bzw. till how many kilometers can you worry about an S60? 3. Can you replace the air conditioning system to be manually controlled, simply by the control panel, the climate automation; and is it still available as an air conditioning system, or as a fully functional air conditioning system? 4. Will the 2.4l engine with 140/170Ps be expected to be used with 140/170Ps, can one from experience tell me if there are significant differences in consumption and performance differences between the two variants? 5. Would I still like to know how it looks like with the automatic, how much liter will you consume more?

RTI Navi Problem
Hello to all! Yesterday I have been on the road with working navigation, wanted road perfectly found. On the start of the return trip the Navi drives out again and reports “DVD can not be read, DVD insert again ” . Ok I remembered this topic of course in the forum and today first took out DVD and controlled. DVD looks like new, nevertheless carefully cleaned with microfiber cloth and special cleaner for DVDs. Same error. Now cleaning dvd inserted, says me in the display again “DVD not readable” – cleans it then nevertheless or how do I see that the DVD cleans ???????? Then Germany DVD and DVDs of other countries tries to always the same error text. What can I do now, technically not know me so, so that I want to expand something or also take out any backup without precise instruction. Is now the drive broken? have read 380 Euro or so or how can I save something. RTI is original like when buying the vehicle as a young used, EZ 07/2007 V70 II Edition Sport buy in 10/2009 the same as the DVC?

Volvo V40 suspension unfortunately much too hard! Help!
Hello dear Volvo driver! I bought this year in late summer a Volvo V40 D2 Momentum Mj.17 Geartronic with the normal chassis. During the test drive much to me that the V40 was quite tight however the roads there were very good and I did not feel it particularly unpleasant. Now after 4000 kilometers driven and mostly highway bothers me unfortunately very much. It is a super car in itself but this bone hard chassis spoils the fun of the Volvo completely. I drive it with 17 inch rims 205/50 tires. About a month after the purchase I have checked the tire air pressure with the hope that this was too high. Forgive since it was even only 1.8 bar! As he now drives with 2,3 bar I would not have bought it in life. To a Volvo (I already had two) V70 Bj. 1997 as well as S60 Bj. In 2002 I will probably be very happy about the ride, but I will not be happy about it.

Since the general representative in Austria and Germany was unable to send an answer to my question, I directly addressed the experts in Gothenburg. It was about the approval of a tyre size for the Volvo V40CC automatic. I wanted to leave the tyres in the 16″ size but widened. Now I can leave it here. The Volvo V40 CC has at least in Austria a release for 225/55 r16.

Consumption indicator/residual speed indicator spins XC90
The above signs spin. The car is now 4 months old. I was suspected that it might have to do with the heater that I had started now. But the error now also occurs without a heater. When the car is turned on, the average consumption indicator jumps immediately to 30 – 50 liters, no matter whether the car is warm or cold. After that it goes down slowly, depending on the kilometers driven, it can also run back into the realistic area. Is such a mistake known….Software should actually be on the stand.

Because of 22 cents of mineral oil tax increase 10/2018: Should I give up petrol station?
Good evening, I’m not a person or entrepreneur in the Czech Republic who wants to catch up on the internet, but we’ve got a lot of gas station tenants in Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Luxembourg. The reason is the increase in the mineral oil tax by 21.9 cents, i.e. 22 cents. That means that now the diesel fuel in Germany will adapt to the fuel price level, and the gas station tenants in Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Luxembourg will lose the majority of the diesel customers, because they will then simply drive over to Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Luxembourg, just as the gasoline customers already do. We already have hardly any petrol customers, since the petrol in Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Luxembourg is about the same, and about 25 cents below the German price level is about as expensive as the Czech Republic.

Problem with the durability of petrol.
Problem: 1) Chain saws with two-stroke oil mixed gasoline ignites very badly after 8 weeks. Saws run round, go out, are warm bad don’t start. 2) Power generator (2kw electric) runs badly with 8 week old petrol. Speed fluctuations, bad cold start, bad warm start, no full generator power. 3) Motorcycle. Jumps badly. Misfires. Stand gas speed up and down. 4) Auto Golf 2. Bad cold start. Unround engine run with cold engine. Engine dies off, when taking away gas. Problems do not occur with 4 week old petrol. You don’t dare to fill up. So there was no such thing with petrol normally lead-free, 91 octane. Chain saws with special fuel 2 cycles from’m Obi. Saws run like Sau. Standgas top. How can this problem be solved?
