Good morning, I am looking for a cheap car for many drivers (about 300km/day) it should consume little, be reliable and of course cheap in maintenance… so I look like so many, the perfect car Our budget is 6000-7000 euro, we already have a car (Opel Meriva on LPG) and the new one would then second car or other around… depending on. After fuel monitor and forum I have two in the narrow selection, VW Fox and Citroen C1. Everything is not very comfortable, but rather useful minimalists, but that’s ok (so a pendulum egg is not made for 10 years…at least I don’t want to do that forever). Price/performance is with both similarly searching through the usual sales portals, whereby the C1 seems to be lower in consumption, even in maintenance the Fox is probably a more expensive fun. Still missing the reliability of a 3-4 year old car with about 40000 km down. Can you help me there again? Which repairs can be made? What is to be paid attention to? Our Opel keeps still the 5 years old car is well repaired and still very good for you said to me.

Bluetooth – Phonebook Direct dialling
I got my C4 Picasso, among other things with the Bluetooth Function. I understood how to display my address book of my mobile phone… but I have almost 500 phone numbers in the book and don’t want to browse every time. However, I still don’t understand how to dial directly and I can’t find it in the manual either. Can anyone help me?

Another moose on Dresden’s Holperstrasses…
Moin Forum, for half a year I have been reading here and this forum has indirectly confirmed to me that there are certainly reasons against a Volvo, but these are null and void once you have sat in one and made a test ride 😉 Reason enough to fit into the tradition of the new ideas. So since April a new one purrs through Dresden: Volvo V70 D5 Kinetic (BJ. 2005), of course black, 163hp, bought with 133T km, DPF retrofitted. My first Volvo, but as a teacher you must inevitably land there… 😉 After the first thousand kilometers and a hundred times parking, the sweatdrops that the captains of ocean giants have had when they have controlled their cruise ship by seas and channels and deviates from a souly grin, for many years to have found a faithful companion. Problems the Elch also likes to solve: I also had the problem of the “exploding handbrake”, which is described very well in this forum. Thanks to a full new discount at the test ride:-) I had to find out the limits of my car’s maintenance – since I had to say it all about the latest!

V90 Price Ok or too expensive??
Hello, as far as Volvo is concerned, I have absolutely no idea. Recently I discovered a V90 D5 AWD Inscription on site and found the totally awesome. I wanted to get the E220 Bj. 2018, then the V90 tested and the E220 deleted directly from my list. With the . The Inscription standard equipment is of course: EZ.: Sep. 2017 (year of construction 2016) Km.-Stand: 12.000 Price: 42,000 € Is the price in order or too expensive? What do you value what the vehicle would cost in two years if I would drive 30t km per year? What makes me even more supportive is the year of construction. Can someone tell me such rough differences between the year 2016 and 2017? Are there technical and optical differences? I just noticed some pictures from the nett just one tiny thing. And that’s the starting clatter. Bj. 2016 (to start the switch to the right, stop goes to the left. With the 2017er everything goes to the right.

Illuminated ventilation nozzles
Good morning, it is getting dark earlier and I have a question about the lighting of the ventilation nozzles. I have the 4 zones air conditioning. At the front all the wheels of the ventilation nozzles are nicely illuminated. At the back of the central console the control panel for controlling the rear climate in the central console is illuminated, but the wheels of the ventilation nozzles are not. Likewise, the wheels of the ventilation control in the B column are not illuminated as well. Is that so right? I imagine that these were lit once. Maybe someone can tell me how it is and I can save myself the way to the workshop. Thank you and greetings Lars

Who has ever driven the D4 190 hp
Hello together, I’m thinking about getting the D4 with 190 hp and putting the 4T€ savings into the equipment. But now I don’t find any experience in the net about the driving characteristics of the D4 in the Volvo XC90 II. Has anyone ever driven it? How were the engine characteristics? Is it with 190 hp and over 2 tons rather sluggish and the 4T€ for the D5? AWD or FWD doesn’t matter to me! Thanks for your feedback gmwolf

Bicycle carrier (AHK) not allowed for 4 bicycles?!
I have just noticed that according to the operating instructions only a bicycle carrier designed for a maximum of 3 bicycles can be mounted on the AHK. Furthermore, the actual support load should not be adhered to here, but the carrier incl. wheels can be up to 75 kg heavy. This obviously applies not only to the v90 but also to the XC90; probably for all models. I am particularly surprised because Volvo itself offers carriers for up to four bicycles as accessories. Does anyone have experience, background knowledge or has been using a carrier with 4 bicycles for a long time? I thank Eich for your feedback!

Quality of new EU cars
I was recently at a Hyundai dealer to inform myself about the bikester. There I asked the dealer quite provocatively why I should buy the bikester from the dealer and not from an EU-new car dealer. The new car prices are very different (car dealer: 22 000€, EU: 15 000€). The equipment differs, with many EU cars missing the parking bill, keyless access is rarely available, I am aware of all that. However, the Hyundai seller also wanted to convince me that the quality of the EU-new cars is significantly worse. He spoke of thinner sheet metal, small brake discs and NoName devices, where otherwise branded goods are installed (light machine, battery). The cars run from exactly the same band, or not? The seller’s arguments seem to me to be rather suspicious. Does anyone here have any idea and possibly experience with a Hyundai as an EU-new car?

V50 2.0D START Problem
Hello together, this topic has already been discussed here. my elch has been having real problems at the start for about 1 month. problem 1: often the car starts turning around only 2 or 3 times – the first times he dies briefly but again. problem 2: I drive about 100 kilometers, turn off the car. if I want to start again 5 minutes, the car comes with an extreme jerk and strong vibrations through the whole vehicle as if he were only running on 2 cylinders and does not take gas. if I turn off the car and start again the phenomenon repeats itself or it jumps back to normal. at the temperatures it can not lie, it has about 20 degrees and it still happens. anyone an idea what that could be? lg walter
