Hello Ducatisti, my dealer shocked me last days because he thought that with my now 3 year old ST4S the timing belts had to be renewed. Running performance should not play a role. The things would age by themselves and could tear at higher stress. Should this occur a salto is probably not avoidable. Cost point 450 – 600 mice. How is your experience !!

Carrera 4S – the first time
Hello Porsche-Gemeinde, today I was allowed to drive a Porsche for the first time, and then still this extraterrestrial 4S. So far I did not really understand the fascination Porsche, today somehow already. The whole car looks like a cast, the workmanship and the materials are fantastic (as an Audianer you are actually quite spoiled), and 265 WR – I didn’t even get on it in the summer. Very good traction, crazy acceleration, this crazy noise (with vers well, I was looking pretty hard at driving all the time -> . Even if it’s not my price range at the moment and I’m more interested in size (yes, there’s still the Cayenne…) it was a great experience. 2 months ago I was allowed to pilot a Maserati Quattroporte, which was even more ingenious from the sound. But haptic and quality appearance was better in the Porsche around worlds ! So, nice greeting from a “enchanted” and lots of fun with Eur en Zuffernhausener Athletes. Greetings, Thilo PS: Today I have noticed that I do not have to disappear immediately to the right, if a 911 in the mirror gets bigger. Otherwise I take the driver all the fun at the then following acceleration orgie !

Who drives his Porsche 911 switched on ?
Hello, I would like to know who ordered his car switched on and or bought it, since I do it now with our family growth and can somehow not win anything off – except that it is not easy to let the vehicle glide quietly and fluidly over the road. And then it should also be slower ! – even marginally and not to notice, but to measure !

Soon end of GT3/GT3RS?
The rumors are condensed that the current versions of 997GT3 and GT3RS will only be produced in the current year. A (not yet to be assigned more precisely) Mk2 version would then succeed later. The rumors are therefore credible, as: – some indirectly confirmed by dealers – the 997 FL will be associated with performance increases (about 400hp in the 997s version), the distance to the current GT3/GT3RS will therefore melt together – Porsche is well known from 2008 to meet the US requirements with regard to equipping all future cars with PSM. Current interested parties of the GT3 and GT3RS should know these rumors, I find.

Test drive 997 GT2!!!
Hello to all forum members. May the new GT2 test drive yesterday. Pick-up place was the one from Solingen. Coffee, short instructions and keys in the hand. From the outside looks as if it just came from the race track and was repainted to make it look more humane. Engine started and …hmmmmm…. I expected more from the Titanic system in the first eye. Thought…. A kick on the right pedal…..wowwww….Pure goose skin…. But didn’t want to get too fuzzy in front of the car dealership. The acceleration that I was able to experience on public roads blew up my perception area. It goes forward.. I’ve never experienced anything like that before. Luckily, the electronic helpers are on board, otherwise I would have been overwhelmed at full speed. (No race driver) Driving curves has been so fun, that I think it’s as nice as sex. Off on the highway. Frustration pure. Everything crowded. More than small sprints were not in it. But alone they almost made me cry. If an acceleration is perverse, then the one brought back from the GT2. car. The price over 190,000€. Last? Never. Dreaming? Always. Congratulations to Porsche for this great car and to all who will be the last. MfG

Cayman S equipment
Hi again. Leidfer was closed my other thread without having written something worse, I don’t understand why. Ichh read it through me. Many attack me because of my spelling and because I want to buy an expensive car. I don’t care. The people who scold are jealous and I don’t answer. Ichhw ill ask here what kind of equipment you should take with a Cayman. Are the big rims exaggerated, is it worth the chronopacket? I don’t want to anymore. as 65000 euro for this car. I have excluded the m3 qwei it is too expensive. So it remains only cayman and s5 How is the insurance at cayman? is it more expensive than the audi s5? I am in my insurance at 35%. Thanks in advance. Please only answers that have something to do with it otherwise the forum owner also makes this thread. Thank you

Filled too much oil – problem?
Hi guys I don’t want to disturb the cozy atmosphere here, so I feel as short as possible with my little technical problem I replenished with my 64er last week the all-time carried litre of oil, when the oil level pointer even in idle mode only tugged over the red area and was told by oil knife that I was only in the lower 5th range of the oil level scale. When I then about half an hour later at a traffic light on the pointer When I saw it, it had reached only a round pointer width under the upper mark. Then I tried the oil knife again and found out that I “scratched” the MAX border slightly. Would I now be well advised to release some oil or does it pack it without big fisimatents? Thank you for your assessments. Salut Alfan

Accord or Civic – Diesel or Gasoline?
Hello together, our Mitsubishi Carimsa has to be replaced, because it can only run for a few years with high repair costs or comes through the TÜV. I wanted to provide our Accord CN 2 (Tourer Diesel; EZ 2006) with the Civic as a brother. Originally a gasoline with automatic was planned. We had not considered a diesel, because only about 15Tkm a year will come together and the distance is rather short-haul (only between 5-20km or 2×16 a day, if i A detailed test drive with a 1.8 with manual transmission has shown, however, that we will not be happy with the car. I don’t really like the performance development compared to the Accord diesel. 140-diesel-hp is not comparable to 140-petrol-hp. The engine behavior is just another. To say that I am rather in a gear-shifting mood. The carisma to replace is a 1.8-petrol automatic (with GDI technology, consumption 7-7.5l/100km) What bothers me about the Ciciv is the high consumption compared to the Carisma. I didn’t really want to change to the 2.4-inch Accord with automatic, although it is a great car, it runs well with automatics or we like it. The prices are more than attractive. However, the fuel consumption is significantly higher compared to the Carisma – I computer here rather with 9 liters despite the restrained driving method. Price: We actually didn’t want to spend more than 15-20T€. My conclusion : Accord 2,4 automatic, new model: very nice car, cheap prices, consumption high Accord Diesel, new model: nice car, but does not match the prices Accord Diesel, old model: us known car, but compared to the 2.4 not really attractive price (used with 50TKm still approx.18T€). Civic 1.8er: says us after not to Civic Diesel: still to get as annual car, with us known engine With diesel I am myself with regard to the particlefi Our CN2 has the open system of Twin Tec, which has run only 145Tkm without problems and has not caused any trouble even on short distance. The closed system has to be ridden regularly, as is well known? But I miss the track lengthers or I have to plan free rides. What do you mean here in the round? PS: It should be a Honda, because we are very satisfied with the WS. We also have a good Mitsu-WS. But Mitsubishi has somehow no car, Which we like as a Carisma replacement.

Purchase advice FR-V
Hello, as I already wrote, an acquaintance of mine is considering buying a new FR-V 2.2 Diesel. Actually he wanted to decide between Touran and FR-V. Also as a long-time driver of VW the Touran would be a logical choice. However, I made him aware of how many fault reports about the Touran are known, e.g. here in the Motor-talk Forum and that has completely deterred him from the Touran. Although some things speak for Touran – e.g. the much larger trunk. Nu The question is: FR-V or not. My questions to you: – are there known defects of the FR-V? – are there also on Mondays cars of Honda, as it is known by VW for example? – are there clear disadvantages compared to other cars of this class? The problem is that very few of these cars drive in Germany and therefore there are hardly any reports on the Internet. You don’t need to report about the advantages of the FR-V, which you could learn during an extensive test drive lasting several days. A Iso, give me the negative about the FR-V, if there is anything to report! Greetings
