  • Honda Insight – Millennium Edition 2000-2006

Hello Honda Friends Here an old young Insightian from Switzerland has found you and dares to ask if we could open a category Honda Insight – Millennium Edition 2000-2006? I know the Insight is an exotic, but Honda has undoubtedly succeeded in a brilliant throw with this car. European and American automobile designers have slept this trend to hybrid cars for almost 10 years. In 1900 it was Ferdinand Porsche, who was probably the pioneer of Gasoline electric cars are allowed to apply. On entertaining posts ! And an always bump-and-knitter-free time with low-emission kilometers – with 80g CO2 I am there – greets you all Bernhad as eco-freak with a Silverstone used 2006 Honda Insight CVT with Cruise Control and TireMoni CheckAir

  • beloved s2000 at the rust

I despair. And could almost cry. September 2014 I picked up nn s2000 from 2005. Used by nem car house of honda. So I drove around for weeks in the 7 sky with it. At some point I took off the rear tires and the splash protection from the swells. And look there blow everywhere. So I took a screwdriver and made the rust behind the splash guard and on the wheelrails layer by layer. And see there omg. wheelrail right hole in the size of an ice finally. U nd right side behind the splash protection also through. Size about 20 cent pieces. Left side not quite through yet. But also not much missing. And oh gray…on the lift I pulled out the plugs from the swarms. And what I have to see. Brown just not quite so extreme. It hurts to watch such a beautiful car. I am 2 owners. And can not understand how to pay new times so much money for it. Dan drives for years in winter without cleaning it. Now I get offers They have to be cut out and reframed. Hope it’s not that expensive or will be. Nothing has to be dismantled in those places with the rust. Only rims down. That’s probably the cost a bit. Knows one of our beloved hondas s2000. I’m curious about your feedbacks. Vlt. Are there also more humane methods to save the chassis or the body. And too rusty on s2000 Find nothing on GOOGLE. Mfg: m Ikeel

  • clack and knock!!!!!!!

I need a few other opinions: for a few days now there has been a very clear clacking from the valve cover (driver side) with a cold engine. It actually sounds like you are clapping with a screw key against metal (perhaps not quite so loud, but you can get there..) the clacking is completely uniform and adapts to the running of the engine, so must be in any case what about the technique (so no loose sheet or so) My 472 ́er already had hydro-punch, since I assume that here the rabbit is in the pepper and one of it has a damage. The clacking becomes increasingly quieter with warm mototr and disappears at some point (but sometimes you hear it quietly again). But could it be something else? Note: the valve shaft seals and possibly some piston rings are not so top anymore, since it is acidizing too much oil, could there be any consequential damage to the clapping? possibly. Misignations by cooked candles (have already after seeing some are really damn oily/cooked – but it’s been like this for a long time, are cleaned/exchanged regularly) I’m grateful for every tip. oh yes, without really assuming that it’s interesting to me, but as a precaution: is it somehow audible when the control chain is in the last breaths…?

  • After replacement refrigerant R12 by R413a at Voyager heat exchanger freezes

After changing the refrigerant from R12 to R413a about 1.5 months ago with my Voyager II, the heat exchanger freezes at high humidity and not so high outdoor temperature. The heat exchanger, which is supposed to bring the cold air to the vehicle interior. First of all, I noticed the following: In the past, condensation water of the air conditioning system dripped continuously under the vehicle. Whenever I stopped and the air conditioning system ran, it dripped under the vehicle. r. For this, a large puddle under the car was often in the garage. As if the drain of the condensation water had been blocked and then all of a sudden everything would come with a big swarm. (I had looked. I could not find a constipation.) Then the following: after a longer journey in the evening hardly any air came into the interior despite the highest blower stage. I suspected already a mistake on the (electrically controlled) air control valves in the fresh air distribution system. The next morning funkti Yesterday (it wasn’t too warm outside, but high humidity) the same thing again: hardly air despite the highest blower stage. And now a look under the vehicle: no draining condensation water. My result: The heat exchanger (for the internal air) cools the passing outside air so strongly that the condensation water freezes on the heat exchanger (therefore no continuous draining). Until so much is frozen that hardly any air can pass ( The air conditioning unit and the internal ventilator were switched off at the highest level, and the large puddle was again under the vehicle. Since my Voyager had almost no refrigerant R12 left, the air conditioning unit only filled R413a. And this now brings such a performance that “my car freezes”. It is certainly also due to the fact that it does not have an automatic air conditioning system, but has only “hand control”.

  • No tax privilege for large off-road vehicles!

The tax privilege for owners of large edeljeeps and heavy off-road vehicles is pending. The 16 federal states can correct the car tax accordingly after the summer break, according to a government spokesman. A corresponding change of the StVZO is already on the way. Currently in Germany 212000 favored off-road vehicles with an additional weight of 2.8 tons are allowed, it continues. The change in taxation would be more close to the countries. So far, many of the heavy off-road vehicles have been taxed as lorries and not according to the cylinder capacity. Thus, the holders could save up to 80% of the vehicle tax. • MAN TGL8.180, Automatic remains in first gear

Hi, we have a MAN TGL8.180 as a fire truck (Automatic, BJ 2010, ~5Tkm). Actually, he always has the problem that he sometimes stays in first gear and turns to the speed limiter (manually switching is not possible, kickdown does not bring anything). If the problem occurs you have to stop, switch neutral and then start again If you turn into the forward gear, for example, while he is still rolling backwards, he does not insert the first gear at all, that is known (is already stupidly prog I have the impression that the problem only occurs when you are in a hurry. So either the switch (if it is operated a bit swinging) is jamming the software, or it has to stand >1s before you switch forward from backwards. At the service it was already found twice, of course nothing (software was updated). Recently a colleague (professional driver) told me, that would be normal, have all MAN. Don’t be, huh? What the fuck is this? Does anyone know that? Thanks. Greetings Metalhead

  • Scania V8 DSC14 Coolant Exchange

Good morning forum, I am recently proud owner of a Scania 142 year 1987 and would like to register this as a classic car. I am not a trained screwdriver, but I have no 2 left hands. Before I clear the points with the TÜV I am at the exchange of all liquids on the vehicle. Oils are changed except the rear axle and the servo all. Now I have a problem with the cooling liquid. I have (a large part?) dropped the cooling liquid at the deepest point of the system Now the liquid no longer circulates towards the engine. The cooler stays cold and the engine gets warm. I have the feeling that it has something to do with the thermostat and/or with the ventilation. Unfortunately, I did not find any precise instructions in the net, maybe someone can help me here? Thank you in advance Volkmarov

  • Transport of goods by road EU LICENCE

Servus you love I know a difficult topic but don’t find anything suitable in the net that’s why I turn to you I own the above license but I’m independent in a completely different industry and now the question Should I use my license or can I earn money with it??? Are not many entrepreneurs looking for someone who has that? I wouldn’t have been dependent on the coal right now, but last time someone at CCS airport (cargo city south) approached me and therefore would like to know what you think of it? Supposedly per lkw to 800 euro!
