I hope to find competent contact persons among the users of this forum, who can give me advice on the conversion of my recently acquired Cayenne. Background is my occupation as district forester. The following conversions are planned by me: -Floor protection plates, over the entire area of the underbody, however, from the lower edge of the tailgate to the underside of the bonnet. -Conversion of the leather seats on artificial leather finish. This would be for the use of the interior after hunting recommended. – Rope winch on the roof with pulley on A-pillar. I do not consider mounting the winch on the front bumper, for aesthetic reasons. Unfortunately, I did not find any comparable topics in this forum. -Blood tub from loading edge rear door to back of the front seats. -Refitting to gas, since the maintenance costs were not in proportion to the NUsage. Please only serious answers to my request. Greeting.

Renting Porsche as a birthday present?
Hello everyone! To make it short: I have no idea of luxury sledges, but would like to send one to my friend for his birthday over the weekend and especially rent a fast flicker (he knows best about cars, but I can ask him bad about it….). I am looking for good offers all the time already in I-net (the cheapest is a Porsche Boxter convertible for 559 €/weekend), but just find nothing in my price range (max. 300 €). ng mit? Or can I recommend a car hire in South Hesse (Frankfurt/Main, Darmstadt, Wiesbaden) that offers such offers?? At Avis, Hertz, Sixt, Europcar I have already looked at it myself, but there is nothing suitable for it… *sniff* For helpful answers I would be very grateful! LG Pen

Purchase advice 996 Carrera 2 (FL) or Carrera 4S
Hello everyone, I actually come from the BMW warehouse ride currently as a summer or leisure car an M3 E46 year 2002. The car is now in my possession since the end of 2011 and it will now be so slowly but surely time for a change. It is certain that it will be a Porsche and that it will be a Carrera of the 996 series. I personally like the 996 series relatively well and it is also the cheapest way to drive a Porsche My budget is 25.000€, absolute pain limit 27,000€… (Sale of the BMW is provided of course). As far as the technology of the Porsche models is concerned, I meet absolute new ground… Although I didn’t fall on my head and have already made a little smart on the I-net with regard to the weak points of the 996 series, I still want to hear some tips and suggestions from you here, as well as about an occasional racetrack use of a Carreras. I am a relatively sporty driver and visit the racetrack (Nordschleife). The M3, slightly modified (KW Clubsport suspension, racing brake linings, steel flex brake lines, CSL rims+tire dimensions), has provided me with a lot of fun. Now it’s time for something new, so => Porsche, 996, Carrera 2 (FL) or Carrera 4S? Which of the two gives your opinion the better figure, on the road (sporty driving style) and 2-3 visits a month on the road. nnstrecke? I know even that the Carrera models are not the best for the race track, but for a GT3 the money is not enough The Porsche will probably not remain original anyway, since a KW chassis is definitely already on the wish list, probably also a spoiler, brake upgrade… Carrera 2 (FL) Advantage: rear drive, less weight Disadvantage: base suspension and brakes Carrera 4S Advantage: sharper optics, brakes and suspension components from the turbo disadvantage: higher Gewi cht, worse acceleration because of the four-wheeler I have left the traction aside on purpose now, since Porsche generally has a good traction. Whether rear drive or four-wheeler, does not play the biggest role in my decision now. I thank you already in advance for your opinions and tips. Greetings

Klappennauspuff 996 4S louder and louder
Hello together! About 3 weeks ago I bought a 996 4S with 83,000 KM and so far I am very free with the car Now to my problem. The vehicle has retrofitted an original flap-nauspuff afterwards. The car was very loud from Anfamg on – I had it checked in a PZ and the master meant that the control and everything funktioiniert and he has to remove the exhaust to see why the flaps are always up… said done – actually was the Unterdru When both pots were removed, however, he discovered that both pots have welded seams and were apparently cleaned out. I can now open and close the flaps, however, the volume has decreased by a maximum of 10% with closed flaps. or actually it just sounds a little different..but not quieter.. Unfortunately, this is still too loud for me – it is so loud that at night I do not have to use the flaps.. It’s a bad idea when I come home, because my neighbors are already rumping my nose.. What can I do so that I can restore the original condition of the Flappennauspuff..I don’t really want to build another plant..can I fill the pots somehow or something? For a tip I would be grateful. Thanks Menju

911 but the only real Porsche !?
No ….. I don’t doubt the quality of the other models. Only when I read the …http://www.tripple.net/contator/autobiz/news.asp?ber=0&nnr=28498 So the Carrera is the only Porsche that really comes from Zuffenhausen and only that makes up a Porsche for me. I also want a VW Golf from Wolfsburg or an Opel from Rüsselsheim or Bochum, Eisenach and no branch plant in Hungary or Finland. The Audi TT is assembled in Hungary ? Would that be the case for me … .. Just stick the name tag on it doesn’t justify the high prices.

How useful are the following extras in the 911
Tire pressure onroll system: Is it worth its money, is there a big additional safety feeling etc.?Backdisc wiper: somehow disturbs the harmonious look, already someone regrets not having it?Bose sound system: mandatory? or is the current standard system sufficient? listen to no classic etc.Tempostat: Are there hardly any motorway phases, where you don’t have to switch on immediately again. With an active driving machine this seems particularly unnecessary to me or am I wrong ? (don’t drive often at night)Switchage shortening: Do you like to ride sports, do you have more fun with it and is it an improvement to the conventional circuit?Chronopacket: Do the vehicle only control itself, rather snaps or does this really bring advantages? Thanks already

One more request to all CR-V drivers with 2.2 CTDi
Hello, I had already asked in another thread to post the consumption of the 2.2 CTDi. There were several answers, but very few with regard to the CR-V. Most of them related to the FK3. I would like specifically to post again all CR-V drivers with the diesel their consumption. HIntergrund: I have now 1500km on the speedometer of my CR-V 2007. On one of the last days I drove about 800km on the highway. Of which about 500km in Denmark. I had al so the possibility to drive different speeds over a longer distance with cruise control and test the consumption. Here is the result: 120km/h: approx. 7.9l 140km/h: approx. 9.2l 160km/h; approx. 11l Since I don’t really believe that the engine has to be driven in and therefore consumes significantly less later, I think all the above consumptions are too high and would be happy if you could share your experiences with me. By the way, my dealer also finds this result. is not particularly funny, as it, according to his statement, deviates quite clearly from the consumption of the CR-V of previous years. Thanks in advance! Luminaire tape front and aluminium grille
Hi, still has to wait for my red FK3 about 2 weeks, but I am always looking for optical improvements. My problem is that I don’t like the continuous lighting tape at the front. Does anyone have any idea if there is an aluminium grille in the style of the new type R that can be installed? In a different forum I have recently seen n picture in which the middle part of the lighting tape with very dark tint foil was glued over with a black civic. e really cool out, unfortunately only have the link no longer. But I’m not sure what it looks like on enm red Civic. Maybe someone else also has another solution. Greetings

Audio connection of an HDD to the radio
Hello! I don’t have a question here, but an info for everyone. There is an adapter to buy in Hungary (that’s where I come from), which makes it possible to attach a hard drive on any radio. I personally was looking wildly for it here in Germany without result. if this is already available, I like to laugh at it, if not, you know now. Since I have not found this here is now a DVD player in the dare with me. I don’t know now spontaneously how the adapter means, I will inquire however. Came to the idea to tell you that, because you like to talk about Ipod ́s and HDD ́s. that’s all. safe ride wishes you, marton

Suzi GN 250
Hello, I also have a question: Is it worth buying a GN250 for approx. 650 Euro? I have had a motorcycle driver’s license for years, but never thought about getting a moped. Now the opportunity arises, because I could get to one. Should you better leave your fingers off there or is the bike one of the bikes, which are almost “indestructible”. I am not a great screwdriver, however, would like to buy a small motorcycle from an economic point of view. euchte machine is built in 9/91, has approx. 15000 km and has to be in June 2005 for TüV. Is it worth it? I want to stay in this displacement class and not spend more than 700 euros for it…yes, I know, but I am Scotsman o_O mfG Tang0
