Hello together, for many years I have always loved the purchase of a CRX of the series 1987 – 1992 (124 HP), which has always fascinated me. Many years ago I was still deterred by the relative high used price. Years have passed by years and the prices have dropped considerably. I would be interested in opinions of today’s owners, who are still driving the CRX of this series. Especially, how high the susceptibility to repair – with regular Pfleg e/Maintenance- after now 15-20 years, which this model series has meanwhile on the hump. What is a currently fair price (-range) for a well preserved model (without tuning extras etc.)? Are there particularly eye-catching flaws? Would I be pleased about feedback! Thx und Gruß Redfoot

Experience with harder fork oils for the ZX9R ZX900B
Hello together, I bought myself a chic ZX900B BJ 1997 which I am currently making fit. I also overtake the fork and encountered the following problem: Kawasaki says in the repair instruction that a SAE 5 ÖL is recommended. Since I intend to move the motorcycle rather sporty I consider instead to use a SAE 10. On the other hand, the Ninja is already sporty from the house and I worry that the 10W oil is then too much of the good. Therefore now my question: How would you you judge the driving behavior of the ZX900B (or the smaller relatives from the series; fork will be basically the same) ? Does a change to SAE10 ÖL make sense or should I rather stay at the 5s ? SUFU has spat out a few general threads on the topic of oiling the fork, according to which such a thing is basically not wrong. Before I do this I would like to listen to the assessment of people who own the motorcycle and know Thank you already for the Antw location^^

Get GPZ 600 R from Sleeping Beauty Sleep
Moin municipality, I need your advice. short introduction: Kai from the vicinity of Aschaffenburg , 35, and in 3 days proud owner of an interesting project: A Kawa GPZ 600 R from ’86, ~65,000km ran, which for 16 years was no longer moved (decommissioning 2009). I would like to use it as a basis for a new setup or conversion, however, am not at all Kawasaki experienced. What technical preliminary tests (turns the engine, switches the gear, etc.) would you recommend here. What can/should I check/test everything in advance? Should there be an engine revision, what is there to consider here – does the GPZ have any technical features? What do I have to pay special attention to here? The Antidive system on the front fork, is there a ‘repair requirement’ here? Many questions – best of all simply ‘free muzzle’ who comes up with something – if necessary the one or other GPZ experienced screwdriver is there 🙂 Thanks already times and best regards! PS: Who still a workshop handbu ch has, may you come in ??

Kawasaki Z750R ABS 2011 – Exhaust change & flap control
Hi, I have a Kawasaki Z750R ABS built in 2011 and would like to replace the original exhaust with a SC Project GP M2. When expanding the original exhaust, I noticed two rope hoists (gabbles) that are probably part of the flap control. My new exhaust has no flap control, and now I’m not sure what to do with the rope hoists: 1. Can I just remove them or have to stay them? 2. If they are removed, is there an error message? 3. Do I need to install a servo eliminator or any other solution to avoid problems with the electronics? Does anyone have experience with the topic and can help me? Thank you in advance!

Carburettor / ignition problem ? (Gas acceptance / misignition)
Hello everybody, I’m new here and hope you can help me as a layman. I’ve been having the following problem for a short time now. If the bike (Kawasaki Z750 EZ. 1.2.2007) is warm, it doesn’t really take the gas at the low speeds. I have to give gas when starting, because it otherwise runs out. I also noticed, when I switch down and take gas away (speeds fall) the lady bangs out quite bad ignitions – I never had that before! ben that I am here Laie but fortunately can count on the support of my father who has been riding bike for decades. However, I did not want to “start somewhere” now and thought that vllt. someone can help with tips & advice or even the same/similar error picture. I am grateful about every serious tip/ advice! Thank you and dear greetings, Nico

996 Targa with engine damage, bet or not?
Hello, I’m stuck in the clamp and I’m looking for advice. I have a vehicle at my hand, which is now really cheap to buy. But what does it mean cheaply, it’s also a lot in the bad. Year 2001, model 2002, Targa 3.6 liter engine with, according to mechanic, torn control chain, currently without oil in the engine, which will probably be gone, or at least in parts Beautiful, bright interior equipment, but after the time of course also with some patina vehicle stands in France, so I have to put it on the Hän rims 18″ but heavily scratched, but not corroded, tyres OK electrics as far as working test drive not possible!!! checkbook peeped, 130tkm round unfortunately macks and dents, nothing you could not fix. Lack however does not seem to be renewed, with the exception of the front apron purchase price from buddy to buddy approx. 12,000 Euro.So what do you do there? 1. Take legs in your hand and run until you have forgotten the vehicle! 2. Buy and the 8-12t Euro in your hand but then even for maybe 2-3t to fix the paint. Maybe you have a tip for me, I’m just not able to account, as always, when I look at 911er.

Porsche as a student?
Hello dear Porsche municipality, I am a student and would like to drive Porsche As far as anything unusual, but I am approaching my destination and I want to buy a Boxster (S) 987 during the year. I am aware of the high maintenance and purchase costs, but for a student it should not be a problem. At the moment I can put on the side c.a. 1000€ per month for the Porsche and have a Boxster or Boxster S year 05-07 The Boxster will be my everyday car and since I don’t want to go on the race track, the question is whether the 40hp more of the really needed or should be invested in better equipment. The next question is, how much should I really spend to get a decent model, I thought about c.a. 20,000, vll a little bit about it…For every 1000 more I have to drive a month longer Opel Yearly driving performance is c.a. 15,000km, mainly rural road and city Is there a certain time in the year in which the cars are cheaper to have? Similar to motorcycles? I hope I won’t kill you with my questions, but I’m still quite inexperienced in the Porsche area Dear Greetings

Porsche Boxster
For a medium-engine project (Ford GT 40, photo) I need a gearbox including all the poles, because the mounted Peugeot is virtually unmobile. The 986 was offered first, until I realized that an Audi transmission is installed there. My question: From which power level was the Audi transmission NOT used anymore? And what came after that? For further information: If I don’t get a transmission separately, I have to purchase a complete vehicle. Does anyone have something suitable? Thanks and greeting from Franken Joe

Cayman S vs. 996 GT3 / 996 turbo
Hello dear Porsche municipality. I had already posted here about 996 turbo vs. 996 GT3 / decision making some time ago. The end of the song was that I couldn’t make a decision anyway. Now that I have seen some Cayman S on Germany’s streets, the discussion in my head has widened somewhat, so to speak… I realize that there is a clear difference between 987 and the two 996s, but my fin The other option would be leasing, which would be just as interesting for me as a self-employed person. Can anyone give me clues as to how leasing rates at Porsche fail? Don’t think that my Audi, which has about the same list price as the well-equipped Cayman S, costs the same rate…or? Is there any experience with leasing used 996 turbo or GT3 into the How does that affect a new car? Presumably most of you bought, but maybe there’s one or the other “leaser” here. Would be grateful for information. Alex.
