Sudden increase in consumption XC60
Hello guys, until 2 weeks ago I had an average consumption of 8,6 l/100 km. Since it is colder and snow is on the road (I think at least), I have 2!!! liters more! And that, without any update was done – actually since the remote control for the SH – but allegedly there was no update made and GT did not have either – hand switch! I have to check it only when refueling, but the BC indicates and the tank clock and day km confirms this plausible. Is this normal? My friend says that 10 liters are normal with the four-wheel 163 hp diesel, but I suddenly have 11 instead of 8.6 liters !!! – such consumption jumps after 4000 km??? Would it rather have hoped that the jump in the other direction! Couldn’t there be any sensor playing crazy, or is that really the rear axle?

XC60 All-wheel drive?
Hello, we enjoyed the eDrive very much during 2 test drives. Negatively, however, we noticed that the car obviously does not get the good performance on the road when driving on basses. This is certainly a result of 420Nm, front drive and high center of gravity. What does this look like for the all-wheel drive? In the Norma condition this has also 95% front, 5% rear. Does this react quickly enough when starting up or is this distributed anyway differently, so that this “front sharpening” is significantly reduced? The eDrive was otherwise great, but as BMW rear drive driver (and I enjoy the rear drive also in winter), much of this peculiarity to me however negatively.

Line queer cut earth cable wallbox
Hello together, I would like to install a wallbox in the outside area. I would like to use an existing wall entry to pull a new line out of the basement (distribution). There I would like to install a sub-distribution in the garden house, length until then approx. 15 meters, in order to connect there still amarkise and motor for gate entry. From the sub-distribution it is then again approx. 23 meters to Wallbox. The sub-distribution is of course also extra protected. Unfortunately, through the wall entry only a cable with 5x4qcm fits through. Of course I would prefer 5x6qcm. Question now, has this already been built with 4qcm line, when using an 11kw wallbox?

V70 Shelf life
Hello guys, be on the verge of ordering me a new car and be faced with the choice of agony. On the wish list next to BMW 525d (Limo) and Audi A6 2.7TDI (Limo) there is a V70 D5. The other two are too powerful for me as combos, so the V70 is the only car. I have only driven Audi (A4) and BMW (3er) so far and know that these cars don’t rattle after three years and 120TKM – how is that with Volvo. Do you have any experience with it? Thank you and maybe I’ll soon be part of the Volvo Society…

Keys not on keychain?
Hello, I got my V70 yesterday and read the manual yesterday evening (sometimes only flew over (-; ). To the key it says that you should not make the car key to a keychain with other metal keys. This would have adverse effect on the roadway lock and could cause you to start no more. How do you handle this? I actually only have two keys together with the AUto key. Does this or do I actually have to handle the Volvo key separately. How is it with aluminium (is also a metal)? On business trips with the plane I usually pour the key into my Rimowa suitcase. Best regards Matthias

Ultimate XC90 Presentation Thread
What do you think if we use this Tread so that everyone can present their new XC90 with a few photos and the ordered equipment? Maybe we should leave all the ideas uncommented, that keeps it very clear. Can I imagine that the many new interested parties would be happy if they can get a picture of possible color combinations and equipment variations already in advance. Unfortunately I can not start this Tread, mine will arrive at the dealer only in the next few days. So then, fire free… Greeting, Volvo Pilot

Recommendation/Experience Full-year tire on 20 inches
Moin together! I searched 29 pages forum and somehow found no thread about all-year tires (or missed *grrr*). In the tire threads, among other things, the Contis and rolling noises and winter tires were discussed. If someone has a link, would be great! Otherwise I start here. I think – after discussion and recommendation of the dealer – to switch the Contis to all-year tires. He would exchange the Contis to 20 inches for the Goodyear Eagle LS2 (M&S) for an extra charge. My elk is a leasing vehicle for 36 months. Normally I am a friend of summer/winter tires. Hoberger gave the tip with Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season. How are your experiences/recommendations? Greetings

Sensus (Multimedia USB)
Hello to the forum, finally it’s so far, the new V60 is there (show in other thread). What I haven’t got so far is a proper use of the MP3s via USB. Especially it’s about the use of MP3s in folders. The problem is, I scroll through the folders, go with “OK” into one of these folders, and confirm with “OK” a title. Only this is not played, but always the previously played title, for example Title-XY (played from the beginning). Even if one then goes to another folder with MP3s selects a title there, another title is played again (back to Title XY which was played last). I can only play a title in a folder, in which I go to a folder and then use the arrow keys for titles PRE/ZURUECK. In the instruction you also have to confirm the individual title with “OK”!? Does anyone have an idea for me? Furthermore I can’t use MP3s from my HTC Desire HD on it’s hard to say that it’s not a bad thing?

Air suspension rear no longer likes
Hello, now I can look forward to my Christmas present at the beginning of the year. Just in time for Christmas, the air suspension in the back was slippery. Will say: He squats in his knees if he is standing for a few days. In the first shot I would have tapped on the bellows, but since both sides of the rear axle are affected, I think that is unlikely. But in the front everything is ok. In the back the driver side is slightly more affected, i.e., he is sagging a little faster, but basically he sinks on both sides of the back. Does there have an idea about what is common to both sides of the HA, but does not concern the VA?
