  • Knocking in the empty load range KTM 250 SX

Moinsen, I hope you can help me because otherwise I don’t know what to do. So, I have the following problem: My KTM 250 knocks so only who I don’t give a gas or just a little, when the engine runs full throttle, it has power up and sounds really great. Have a video on the listener but not too good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7UF95gYQRI So this hook up when going down from the gas, you do that even if I drive slowly in 4 gears for example. For example 1/6 gas then she knocks so funny. Pre-ignition would have to fit the strokes Escapes And the needle in the carburettor also looks like new. I had the cylinder already down you don’t even look like new. Spark plug is new. False air is not and the diaphragm leaves are also new although I have to say that the new things stand out a small gap of light to the membrane block. It makes the when it is warm more than when it is cold. I’d be happy if you could make me suggestions about what else I should control or a white person has exactly what there is. Thank you!

  • 48hp low top speed?

Hallows. I’ve been driving a choked Super Duke 990 R from 2012 for almost a month now. I’m really happy with the machine, but the final speed was a little dazzling. I’m sure I won’t get out 250km/h, but I haven’t managed more than 130 so far, even if I’m accelerating on the highway at low wind. All the other machines with a 4 cylinder (cbr, bandit,fz) have overtaken me without any problems and are also throttled to 48ps. Furthermore, the acceleration from 90+ is more than meagre. My question would now be whether this is normal? Could I imagine that it is because the machine works normally with 130ps, which would also be strange, since the cbr 600 also has a narrow 110ps. To my knowledge, nothing is changed except the Akra slip-on.

  • KTM lc4 640 (Supermoto)

Hello, I’m new to the forum I’m 19 and would like to finally replace my 125s with a larger machine. I have a KTM lc4 640 in view, where the engine was overhauled 5000 km ago and all modifications are removed from the tuv. The original parts are also included. Optically the KTM is in a top condition, however, it already has 3 previous owners and a total of 44,000 km on the hump. Price 2400 € (probably still a little traded) Now to my question: Should I in your eyes to strike at the offer ? What are signs of long terrain use ? Does anyone know what the motorcycle consumes on 34 hp approximately (road) ? MfG Schorsch PS: I want to do oil change and other service work myself.

  • Motorcycle doesn’t start, battery over?

Hello guys, I’ve been having trouble starting my Duke for a few days now. Most of the time I have to push it on. The electric ignition doesn’t make it. You can hear it already, so it’s not a simple flip-off. In addition, you can see that the display/display disappears/dark when you press the E-starter and the time is reset to 01:00. This indicates mMn that the battery can’t deliver enough power anymore. dard-Bleibatterie already changed a few years ago against a gel-battery, my father says that it has to be somewhere else. That’s why I wanted to get some certainty now. What I can add: With both batteries (the old lead- and the gel-battery) the electrical ignition – even if they come fresh from the charger – does not work as well as before. That’s why, I guess, the gel-battery will be already over. Strange is that to B In the beginning of my motorcycle season this year everything was ok. Can confirm that the battery and not something else is to blame / co-inflict? Then I would simply buy a new one (and get a few tips from you for it). The workshop gave me an appointment only on 20.06. As long as pushing or driving a bus would be crap.

  • Transfer property Porsche 911(997) Tuning parts – TÜV?

Hello guys, I have been living in the USA for quite some time and will come back to Germany in September/October this year. I have been driving a 2006 Carrera S for almost a year and when I bought the car from the Porsche branch I had not thought about tuning parts and Germany. Here in the USA all this is seen relatively loosely (except in California) and therefore there is no documentation for tuning parts – i.e. material reports, parts reports, AB It’s missing. The previous owner has made a few minor modifications to the car. Nothing wild. My car has a carbon diffuser based on GRP (laminated carbon), which is mounted on the standard rear bumper. Furthermore, two highly polished exhaust panels – only the apertures, otherwise nothing has been changed on the exhaust system. Last but least: carbon mirror inserts (same quality as above) Nothing has been cut out or otherwise changed on the carbon parts. the car is completely standard. You can only see the changes if you know a 997 Carrera exactly, because the car itself is basalt black and the carbon adapts quite well to the coloration. The problem is in September then the TÜV. What possibilities do I have? Are there special measures for import vehicles that have installed such parts? Are these parts at all subject to entry requirements(The exhaust panels are not, as far as I know)? I don’t want to make the whole procedure any more cumbersome than it is now. What would you advise me to do? Thank you for your help!! Greetings from America, gdo

  • New Cayenne base gasoline with 300 hp

Hello dear Porsche community, I’m new here, so I would like to say hello for a moment. My dad bought my mom’s Cayman S Edition 1 2 years ago. That was his first Porsche and he was so excited about it that he now wants to buy the new Cayenne. The debate is now either the Cayenne Diesel or the Cayenne base gasoline with 3.6 liters and 300 hp. I recommended him the Cayenne S with 400 hp, but that’s too much of the good for him. My question would be now whether the new 3.6 liter base petrol is recommended. By this I mean on the one hand whether it is sparkling enough and on the other hand whether fuel consumption and sound are appealing. The old base gasoline at Cayenne I was not so the hit or?! Tend to the diesel at the moment almost more (although Porsche is atypical). I would be grateful if someone could tell me something about it. Vg Dominik

  • Tyre gas

A friendly hello, when I ordered my tires, the seller offered me the free filling with tire gas. I have not decided so far because I wanted to know first what your experiences with the gas are. It should have several advantages, but to be honest, do not believe. But I think it is certainly not bad either? What do you mean? Use it too? And last but not least, is the gas actually light air? Thank you for your Ant Word and your opinions in advance!

  • Sports exhaust system – which PZ for “switch solution”?

Moin moin, now that I have installed the desired wheels, should be retrofitted to complete the sports exhaust system – then it is “finished” and corresponds to my taste Have already asked for “my” PZ, but they do not offer the switch solution, as they have had some of their PZ installed afterwards. By switch solution I mean that one can influence the adjustment of the flaps themselves i.e. either continuous open, continuous closed or the norma with me in the PZ they don’t do it, but it would be technically feasible. My one or other of these switches in the PZ had it installed, if yes, where? Close to Cologne… It would be “a wash off” and probably shouldn’t cost anything extra. Another question: Is the retrofitting carried out in exchange i.e. do you get the “old” pots with you? Thanks in advance.

  • Engine tuning on V8 ?

Although I’m neither a racer nor a racer, I’d like to know what to do with an old V8 tuned/tund/tunered/…hmm…. TUNEN TUT ……in order to cut off more horsepower. As a trained carrossie pengler, it wouldn’t be a problem for me to make carrosserie conversions. But as far as the engine is concerned, I’m not a little “….” that’s not my thing. I already heard that you achieved something with a different carburettor. But what do they do from a normal V8 150hp? more than original? Would I just be interested in….ok maybe I would also be tempted to do something…. I got it!!!! I make a chip tuning on my olds!!! On which we get an interesting discussion rexxell censored by ’67 barracuda (you know what)

  • Petrol in oil ZZR 600

Moin moin, during a marathon tour in the Alps, had noticed a huge oil loss on my ZZR 600, year 98. The whole panel covered with an oil film, after a night drop on the ground, etc. Was the valve cover seal. It blew it through the too high pressure, which is due to too high oil level (better: liquid level) in the engine. The test why this was so allowed only one conclusion for me: The funny catcher (looks like a petrol filter), the left under the Ra hmen sits at the idle speed screw, was full and the engine pulled the accumulated fuel through the crankcase ventilation and diluted the oil. The rest s.o. Question 1: Can this explanation be correct? Question 2: Where does this fuel come from? Sure, from the air filter, but should it not get in the other direction (burning rooms)? Question 3: What amount of accumulated fuel is normal? With me, the tank is filled to one third after 100 km? Thanks for the A I’ll tell you in advance. JUMTI
