  • Purchase advice ZX9R (03) or YZF-R1 (01)

Hello Biker, well, spring is on and the corresponding feelings are getting up again. I would like to buy a bike again after 2 years of abstinence. Should be fast – doesn’t have to be the fastest – and I should be able to drive for a few years. Do not drive so much now, maybe 4-5 TKM/year. It’s a pity. Please help me make a purchase decision: What do you think of the ZXR 9 R year 2003 at o Km and that for 9 TEUROShttp://cgi. ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… Or better for the same money ne YZF R 1 new, but year 2001 ?? The Kawa still has carburetors. Is that still a little future-proof. I would like to drive with it for a few years. Is the Kawa vulnerable? Or is it 2003 he Fireblade or a GSXR 1000 ?? What would you buy ?? The Kawa I find quite beautiful. Does the what ?? Help nem ignorant. I had a Honda VFR before that. SChönes reliable bike, but I found it with something too good. Energetic performance. Now, please, your Rainer

  • Spotted Light OSRAM H7 LED Retrofit + Headlight Adjustment

Yesterday was the big day, we picked up our new camper. The delivery took much longer than thought, among other things because we were told unexpectedly many details (the dealer really took a lot of time), but also because there were some minor defects, which almost all were fixed directly – such a motorhome construction seems to be largely hand-made. Therefore we drove back only around 20:00 clock, so in the dark and the original H7 double headlights of the Fiat D ucato (type E24 6266) really give off a cloudy light. Therefore, I installed the OSRAM H7 LED bulbs for dipped-beam and main-beam light just last night: https://www.osram.de/ecat/NIGHT%20BREAKER%20H7 LED%20lamps%20(stra%C3%9Fenapproved)-Car lighting-Vehicle lighting/en/GPS01_3401765 The installation is really easy, the headlights of the Ducato are fixed with only 2 screws and you don’t have to build away any fairing parts, bumpers, grilles or the like in order to expand them. At 22:00 I did a test drive. First the good news: the light is much whiter and brighter, and shines noticeably further. The bad news is, it is unfortunately also much more stained. Does someone have these LEDs installed in their Ducato? Is this also flaky with you? In addition: Which adjustment screws can be used to adjust the headlights of the Ducato? VG, Markus

  • Immobiliser

I started to deal with the issue of immobilizers, but I’m not even sure to what extent it makes sense. My 992 is not a leasing vehicle. I came across the following novelty. https://www.bear-lock.de/products/circuit-lock-keyless I would like to know if there are any experiences in this respect or if anyone has ever dealt with this topic, if anything is installed in this way. was and how Porsche handles it as part of the warranty. Or whether there are solutions from Porsche itself in this regard.

  • 997 Rear lights – variations or original?

Good morning, I would be grateful for some advice/impressions to 997.1 rear lights. I don’t really like mine. Doesn’t really look like 997.2 LEDs. Actually, I wanted to upgrade to the original ones. But are there also nice alternatives???? Well, there are also black LED versions. Does someone have the turn (picture)? Or does that look too much like tuning? The turn signals are sometimes even “moving” – that could possibly look too much “basked”. With my CLS 218 I have d he side mirror LEDs converted to black and moving – I like it there. Is not too intrusive. Was there actually the option “dunkle” or “single color” rear lights in the pre-MOPF as an order option ? In my equipment brochure I did not find something like this and did not yet see it on the street. I would be grateful for a few pictures.

  • Winter bikes Cayenne vs. Cayenne Coupé

Servus together! Starting point: Soon my Cayenne Coupe (E3) will be delivered to me 20-inch summer tyres. Would now like to mount 21-inch winter bikes. Now I have read that the wheels of normal “Cayenne” (E3) should not fit on “Cayenne Coupé” (E3). Questions: (1) Are there differences between the wheels and if so, which ones? (2) What do I have to pay attention to? Bzw. how do you recognize the respective rim? Thank you! PS: Googeln has not helped.

  • Cayenne e-Hybrid (2020): only 26km range after full load

Hello everyone. Now I have for the second time only 26km range after full load. I already know that the specified 38km can only be reached at ideal temperatures (I also had very often in the summer!), but 26km is honestly a joke! But it has just about 0 degrees with us… What is then only in the “real” winter? I got the car in February as a new car and could not remember that I would have ever had under 30km range… Did someone like can the battery be broken or impaired? Greetings from Lower Austria!

  • ZF Intarder in TGA

Hello, today my trust in MAN has dropped again. One of our TGA has an intarder failure. So level 1 with engine brake and co goes, the rest does not. So I called the MAN workshop and paid him off. Then the shock, he came back from the workshop and the intarder still didn’t go. They let off oil, filter out, new in and *shoulder zuck, he didn’t go. Then they probably looked for something planless. Stupid that the tester did not make a mistake. Now they want to m once again, see if they can find the error. Now, a question about the MAN Specis, where would you look? I know about Voith Retardern, but ZF….. Where does the temperature sensor for water and oil sit with it?
