Hello dear Motor-Talk municipality I have been driving my V50 2.0D since June 2006 and was so far satisfied about everything. I have been driving 37500 km on it so far and it was never a problem. Last week suddenly I step on the accelerator and it does not accelerate as it usually takes off – on the contrary more than 2000 tours were not in any gear any more. Unfortunately the car did not run in the 6 course any more like 80 kmh. One day later I went to the dealer and there was of course nothing more, everything was like always ( funny thing ) The master was able to find out but nothing – but the control unit was in suspicion. So read out and see since the control unit has hung up or crashed briefly. Since he has started a new software which I unfortunately God also have to pay because no guarantee exists anymore but as long as my elch again clean is worth to me? After that someone kept shopping again sounds wonderful. Until today morning, there went off again, stopped and then switched on the engine – then it was gone (so the MEISTER told me that it was really bad and then?

BC value vs. actual consumption
servus, had to realize in the last time that the displayed consumption of the bc’s does not really correspond to the actual consumption. my problem is I consume with my 2.4i (automatic operation) according to bc 9.5 L/100 and actually I come with the 62 liters in the tank say and write 500 km far which corresponds to a consumption of 12.4 L/100 ! I am less irritated by the strong deviation between bc/consumption but that it consumes at all! I still drive very well (not over 130 h/h, looking forward) (30% motorway, 40 country, 30% city) there were also no changes to the vehicle that would justify this development ! question: is there any software that can reduce the consumption ? what possibilities do I have in general ? please ask for info…. grias cc

V50 roof rail in silver?
I know the topic has been discussed here before. But now after the facelift the V50 appears in the catalogue and Internet with silver roof railing, as an option. Also in the price list it is in (not the configurator), with 350 €, 100 € above the black one. Dachreling is a matter of taste, I struggled with me for a long time. When ordering, the seller said that it was only in black. I find silver looks much higher (see Audi A4). I also discovered a V50 with roof railing in silver at the autoscout. Does my dealer have the right or does he have the silver from the factory?

T3 / Gear, identify crankshaft.. urgently need help!!
Hello people, first of all… I have a VW t3 Joker BJ 87. I have been driving it for 3 years with a lot of joy, but a big problem has arisen now. The gear wheel on the crankshaft has torn the hold wedge and also damaged the groove from the gear wheel. Now it turns out that my wonderful previous owner, as a replacement engine no T3 engine has been installed again and the current one is not to be identified. This previous owner is of course no longer to be reached, to ask him simply what type of engine he has installed. Unfortunately, no engine identification number can be found, which drives me slowly into madness. Both my workshop of trust, as well as VW Autohaus have capitulated… It was a 1.6 TD JX installed before and diesel pump and all the attachments are probably still the old ones. Maybe someone can help me with the pictures to identify the engine. I have ordered now 5 gear wheels, which have not fit all. It would be really sad to replace the engine, since so far no one could help me at https:// some more auto-futures.

Turbocharger, compressor, cylinder, control chain – what can be broken now – 1.4 TSI VW
Hello dear community, we have a Tiguan with this be…. 1.4 TSI engine, which we had bought again in June 2009. After three years and a month we had no compression on the third cylinder. After they had already removed the whole engine, they also changed the control chain with immediately. A year later, when we went home from Italy, then the turbocharger was broken and now, only a month later, a control lamp lights up and now the compressor is defective. Cost up to now 3000 euros. What can still be broken about this stupid engine? I spin through… there you buy a VW, so to speak, “the car” and think, except inspection and refueling is nix and now that. A careful and friendly request at VW has been made and you get only a pampy answer, that one should be happy, if even here a kulanz was approved. I know yes, here it swarms only so of the 1.4 TSI damaged, but was broken with someone already ALLES LG?

Heating (electric) V90 T8 Recharge MY23 – Consumption KWh
Hello, sometimes a question / observation to other V90 T8 Recharge drivers who have an electric heater. I like to preheat my car at the wallbox in the morning at very cold temperatures (at the moment so -5 degrees). Now I have already observed the following several times and can measure the values also on the basis of my smarthome or photovoltaic system: The car is charged the previous day 100% by Wallbox. As starting time of the planned departure I enter e.g. 6.30 clock in the morning. The car then draws approx. from 4.45 o’clock electricity until 5.45 o’clock (3.7 KWh) one hour long. Then it pulls from 5.45 o’clock continuously less current from the wallbox until the scheduled departure time. First 3000w, then 2000w… in total per warm-up process so about 5.5 KWh and takes 1 hour and 45 minutes for the whole process. I “buy” myself with the preheating of course a little more electric range and a pleasant temperature in the car, but it “costs” me 2.20 € (5.5 KWh * 0.4) the net heating capacity in the other 3 km.

Preheating VOLVO Car app
Hello, I can’t (more) start the heater via APP. It worked until 1 week ago ALWAYS – on start and the car was warm. Now I always get the message “could not start”. I then filled – sometimes all errors in the ECUs deleted (was also nothing in the reference in it)…. no idea. When I then go to the car and start the heater over the display it starts immediately. Even if I start the car it always runs nicely with at first. Then I thought – ok, 5° is u. too warm – today it was 0° in the morning – the APP (and only the APP) doesn’t want – everything else works but over the APP. Does someone have an idea? Thanks uwe

Experience with Volvo Assistance
Hello, unfortunately, yesterday evening on the highway with the messages “Motorpower limited” and a little later “Particle filters clogged up”. The thickness ran up to 120 km/h and I had still 50 km to home. I drove on and 15 minutes before arrival at home I called Volvo Assistant. ……and I was absolutely positively surprised! Until arrival at home all the data were recorded with the promise that you would take care of the tow truck and a replacement car. However, you have to know that there was already 21 o’clock in the evening. Not 10 minutes later the tow truck, which announced that it was about 20 min…. Not 5 minutes later Sixt reported that they had no SUV but whether an Audi A 8 would be ok too??. However, they could no longer make the car I had to pick it up until 22 o’clock. Tow truck arrived on time and even had to pass by Sixt. Replacement car accepted to the Volvo dealer, where the tow truck had already been unloaded…. and finished. From the 1st service car I had to be able to get rid of a good work day. This had to start.

D3 and D5 – Chiptuning equal effect?
Hello Leut’, if I look at Daylight’s XC60 D3 (photo in the other Fred), then I notice that the D3 now has only one tailpipe again. That was the case at the beginning of the 2.4 d, later the 163PS versions got the same doublepipe system as the D5 (apparently the same engine), now with the D3 again not. The DRIVe had only one tailpipe (except the R-design variant). Frache Numma Einz: Are we sure that the D3 (2011) is identical to the D5 in terms of engine design – and thus can easily be tuned to the same performance? Or was Volvo so smart and has changed hardware-wise again? Frache Numma Zwo: I would be interested in how it looks like with the elasticity values between a tuned (now) D3 and the normal D5, because: ok, maybe higher performance possible (230 to 205 PS), but the question about the translation is never asked.
