  • Operation / repair of brake cylinder Gsx 600 f front

Hello , can someone please explain to me the functioning of a brake fluid container ( Nissin front ) with the piston in it? did he disassemble it because he had no function anymore and the brake fluid looks like you haven’t been changed for years? don’t know if the two open holes on the container floor are normal because there’s a small piece of sheet metal over it and this hole is still running conically, I think maybe there’s a ball in it. n has no idea. And how can you change the piston which is pressed by the front wheel brake lever, in case of a defect (hard to run) and on what must be paid attention? Have before a repair kit one to build. Thank you very much for, if possible, help. MfG

  • 991 vs. 997

Question to the better-knowers: Am wild determined to buy my first 911er (Cabriolet). How much lengths is the new one “better” compared to the 997? From the point of view of those who have both already driven, is the extra price for the 991 compared to a regular 2011 used one? To the info: I’m more a connoisseur than a wild race track heater; in other words, it’s supposed to be a summer cruiser.

  • What equipment does a long-distance driver need?

Hello Motor-Talk Friends I start my new job as a long-distance driver in about 2 weeks. Now I ask myself the question, what do I need in equipment??? My food, for example, how do you prepare your food on the Pakplatz. Perhaps some useful tips come together here, which make life on the highway a little easier and more pleasant for me. What do you really need?? What makes sense, what not? Where do you buy? Is a gas cooker good?? etc. I’m curious what comes out of it..

  • Subject expenses

Moin, I have a question, I hope one of you can answer me. A buddy got a job offer, as a truck driver. For him a complete new start and correspondingly a completely new career. I have now picked up the following data: Tour time: about 10 hours (evening at home) Hourly wage: 12 euros Expenses: 28(!) Euro from the eighth hour for every hour he works. If I have not calculated this completely wrong these are 56 euros a day. Computer man a With the hourly wage combined he would come to a good 2500 euro net per month. Apart from the hourly wage, are these expenses realistic? I don’t want to take the illusion away from him, but I can hardly imagine that.

  • Minimum turning point for trucks

Hello together, I live on a farm at the end of a dead end. Unfortunately our forecourt is so unfavorable that trucks can not turn there (there is a dung heap in the middle of it). So the freight forwarders always stop at the neighbor and load there. We then have to transport the goods with the tractor the last 200m. Now a larger conversion of the outdoor area is on and I would like to take the opportunity to use the forecourt for long sprinters, which often come, and also for trucks up to 10m, which come like this once a month, to make rotabili. I get the official turning circle measures only filled with ach and krach, therefore a question to you practitioners: How much space do you actually need with a 9m or 10m truck? Thank you in advance for your assessment.

  • Starter expansions

Hello guys, I have the following problem! I want to remove a defective starter with a stacker. Doesn’t matter… The screws are really very tight and don’t want to get out. Only the problem that I can’t get there with a nut, and with a key I pushed on the housing. If I don’t do it all, I could make the screw around suddenly… How should you do it not to deal with it? With what kind of tool? (Please do not warm up, as it’s a gasoline stacker. ..) Should I install the new one with Imbus screws? (Are there two screws) Here are some pictures… Thanks for quick help Greetings Egor

  • …with truck for shopping

The topic is known, everywhere entry bans, height limits, side stripes blocked with stones / flower buckets so that you can not park with a truck just on the supermarket parking lot or in the area of shops somewhere sideways to just increase the supplies or get a little something to eat / a warm meal. So stay only the overpriced rest & car yards. Now I have purely by chance, at the weekend purchase a few places further a relatively new market In addition to the usual car parking spaces, there are even 3 designated truck parking spaces – see https://goo.gl/maps/vtJ7JHrBUXzXDa4r8. I suspect that this is due to the location directly on a highway that is busy by trucks – nevertheless I think it is good and hope that this is not an isolated case or that the school makes and where it makes sense to become standard.

  • Atego 1 98-04 Thermal protection at the pre-resistance blower permanently defective

Hello, on our Atego1 the thermal protection on the blower resistance burns constantly. We have already renewed 2x a new blower, some resistors, the interior filter, the fan switch, the pins in the plugs. The maximum current consumption measured over the fuse is around the 10A. Has anyone ever found the problem and a solution? Normal a resistance burns through if the fan is too heavy or gets too little air. Is there an Atego typical problem? Di e Search I used, also found a topic, but there is no feedback. Thanks. LG Sebastian

  • Speed Triple 595N. few questions

Hello I’m new here with you Triumph people and wanted to ask for your advice. Let’s get to me. I am 25 and have been driving a Honda CBR 600 PC for over 5 years 25. But now I’m tired of having a 4 cylinder under my ass and wanted to switch to a 2 cylinder. Because of sound and better driving behaviour in the lower speed range. I sold my CBR for a thousand and would like to get something else with another one and a half thousand. ze. I also know that you can’t move worlds with the money. But I got into a triumph. I can’t say anything about driving behavior, but that looks exactly what I want. And I know it’s a 3 cylinder. Now I want to do a test drive and I also found a volunteer for tomorrow. I wanted to ask you what you think about this offer and maybe what I should pay attention to when buying. Here’s the link:http://suche.mobile…city=75 0&noec=1 And please no comments, that I should take time and save more money. More money is not an option. I prefer to take an older motorcycle or something else but more than 3000 euros is not in question. It may not be exactly this one either. It is here around the corner and I may be able to ride a test to see if the machine fits me at all. The seller also knows that I may not want to have it at the end because then doc h don’t agree to the 3 cylinders. But I don’t know that until I drive them. I tend to this one. Because it has a lot less down. But because of wear, I’m a little too far away because of test drive: http://suchen.mobile…bicCapacity=750 Look forward to your opinion.

  • Street Triple Beginner (25KW)

Hello, I’m still 17 at the moment, but look around for my first motorcycle. I’ve already discussed it a lot with my father. He also showed me his favorite, or his recommendation for me, the Triumph Street Triple 675 (R). I wanted something exclusive and not something that everyone already has. Of course I was blinded by the Daytona 675, but I read that this is a pure sports equipment. My question is now: Am I well served with the Street Triple 675, a ls the new driver? I worry most about getting started, that it doesn’t work. I have great respect for this machine. Since I live in Switzerland, of course, I have to “castrate” the Street Triple to 25KW. How much more expensive is that? Should I buy the R – version and then pick it up after 2 years or should I buy the normal one and then exchange it? So far, I have only read and heard positive about the Street Triple. Also in Other Threads & Fore n is described that it should not be a problem for new managers. I wish you a nice evening and thank you now for the answers
