have a 96 adventurer with single seat and disc since the latest. Since the original tires were already too porous, he gave me the tire binding and I drive now dunlop. at 130 – to 140 km/h the part starts to commute horribly. the steering head bearing seems to be in order. does someone have experiences with the disc, if that’s possible? already thanks dks

Expensive inspections
All in all, I’m very attached to the T-Bird.The driving characteristics, the fuel belly, suspension, comfort, etc. The only thing that bothers me are the very high inspection and maintenance costs. My last inspection at approx.11100 km,and HU,costed a total of 526.-€.I bring the maschine into a work site near Bonn. What do you think about this. The low-maintenance (according to T.Advertising) drive belt should be stretched every 4000 km,which in turn should cost 50.-€ according to the dealer. ette? The tool (three different) should be awarded 350.- €.Somehow I feel like a joke. What do you think about it. Do you know other dealers where you get the whole price cheaper. Even if you should get 100 km more it might be worth it. Especially since we all like to drive a little more and if it makes sense! What do you pay for the service, I would really be interested in. I fine that the above price is exceeded.

Triumph recommendation?
Hi guys, I’m thinking about getting a Naked bike. I used to ride super sportsmen, but you change over time. Find the Triple Speed pretty nice. Is there anything that speaks against a Triple Speed. I used to ride Suzuki before. I would be interested in a Naked Bike, even if it seems funny to one or the other, the sound… I don’t like these Naked Bikes, which sound exactly like a super sportsman, it should be a bit more “blobbing” If you’re not is what I mean. Many people can recommend me a different motorcycle, but please don’t shoppers, just because I used the word bubbles ;-). MfG hangover

Thunderbird 1600ccm
Hello T-Fans! I didn’t find a similar theme in the search, so here’s my thread. I made a round last week with the new 1600 Triumph Thunderbird. It’s fun, the planer, a typical triumph level. Brakes, chassis and engine are beyond any doubt as well as quite good detail processing are on the side of the hat. Critical points are high focus, narrow handlebars, cranky handling, more sitting on it than in it (as with a softail) and little sonor he paralleltwin sound. What do you say about the new T`Bird? Have anyone ever driven the part? Or even bought it? How does it arrive in the fan base?

Exhaust for Speed Triple
Meal! I’ll buy a Triumph Speed Triple (if the spring sorority prices have gone away). The 1050s. The rear is definitely shortened but so the optical should remain standard. Sometimes apart from blinker, mirror etc. The moped is my dream for years and eig. GENAU as I want to have. Only it sounds much too good to me. If I already get a fat liter machine, then it should quietly hear half the city. My problem is that you don’t listen to exhausts ‘probe This is why I hope to be able to share their experiences with me on members here. I’m looking for an eat that’s dull, lean and above all roaring loud! I can’t use the high-touring sum of the racing machines. It’s supposed to sound good from the stand gas… But now the problem comes to TÜV. I noticed the food with dB Killer/ dB-Eater when searching the dealer. Always with a hint that doesn’t unite for STVO when you unscrew the thing out. Now the question: Does this bring v om Sound? And how expensive is it if the guardians pull me out and I don’t have the dB-Eater in it? Or is there the exhausts that fit in with my sound wishes? At the price I had set a thousand per pot as a limit, would also sacrifice more with the corresponding sound. Is with what important on the car ^^ Oh yes: one more… I saw a speedtriple, where the two exhaust pipes under the ass reunite and only a pot on the back was on it. hnisch what? because the sounded relatively good, or you get something duller with 2 pots? Yes I hope you can give me a shopping tips By the way, it’s not bad if the performance suffers something from it. I don’t plan to hammer with a Nakedbike with 240 over the highway anyway. Thanks in advance!

Rear brake gets hot after changing the surface.
Hello dear Boxer friends. At my R1150r year of construction 2004 I changed the rear brake pads with Teilintegral ABS and since the moment I have braked the brake at the rear is not completely free anymore so the wheel turns heavier at the rear than front and will also become slightly warm heist light blue the disc. The floating saddle is smooth-running exactly like the coverings. I have to say that the first time I got sintering pads in the trade. Can one give me a hint about what that may be, or if it only has to be dragged in longer.

Validity and/or extension of driving licence Class C / CE
Hello together, I would have a question for the pros among you. I made the then class 2 in 1987 and had it changed to class C / CE with the new driver’s license. In May 2016 these classes apparently expired according to the registration in the driver’s license (see photo). Now I would like to buy/drive a camper again > 7.5 to. (not professional / no business / only camper possibly with trailer), do I have to take the entire driver’s license test again? Or can ic h let the appearance of that time be extended somehow? Thank you in advance Greeting, Filou

Iveco daily singing rear axle after plate/bevel wheel change
Hello together, I had my Daily change the rear axle translation, from 13-43 to 11-46, have acquired a used set Kegel /Tellerad and small kegelrade (these have some play). Now after long adjustment and also correct abrasion image on the Tellerad, comes a sporadic speed-dependent singing, from 20-25 kmh then from 45-50 and then whether 65 kmh. It is not very loud but well audible. If I take foot from the gas it is completely gone. if I give it only slightly gas. What could that be, the tooth flank play is proper, it may be that the plates/bevel wheel have to drive in a bit..! Purely acoustically it doesn’t bother me very much, but it should also hold. Can you give me some tips, thank you Peter

Current spread CB radio?
(I ask this question here, because traditionally the commercial vehicle drivers use the whole most and there is no general forum here…) How common is CB-Funk still today? In the car CB is almost extinct what I get, but what does it look like in general? And what is so talk about it? I know of my father (even long-distance driver, today around 50) that in his early days the most adventurous things were running (with “afterburner” etc), but he has never done it himself. I don’t know, he hasn’t had a CB device for a long time, so I’m afraid he can’t answer that…

992 Petrol consumption
Hello together, have now exactly 2 months my 992 convertible and I drove a total of 700 km. On 14.10. in Zuffenhausen picked up and 400 km of highway drove home. Average speed approx. 130 km/h, speed max. 3.500 1/min. As well gasoline consumption 10,33 L. For me was absolutely OK. After that the further 300 km almost mainly urban traffic with an average consumption of 17.1 L. I find this consumption already heavy with moderate driving. (Porsche factory specification within place 12,9 L ). With my old 991.1 hand switch I was already used to high consumption inside (by the 15 L), but that the consumption is now significantly higher with PDK, I would not have thought. Did you have any similar experiences or should I audition at the PZ? LG micky
