Sports Cars Suitable for Everyday Use
Hello I want to buy a sports car that costs ~50k and is relatively suitable for everyday use I mean under 20 liters of fuel consumption. It should be mobile every day and stay humane as possible, so it is best not 4000€ for a brake change. Therefore I would like to ask you which cars you have in mind which can fit into the picture. For comparison I have already picked out two models that I liked very much. The Aston Martin v8 and the BMW M4. info: I don’t want you to call me to collect data about the vehicles because I’m too lazy, I’m writing here because I want to hear your personal opinion about your (in the picture above) fav. vehicle. I’m looking forward to your answers.

Reliability California/Portofino
Perhaps a somewhat stupid question, but what experience did you have with your Californias or Portofinos? Are there children’s diseases or constantly little things that annoy you. My salesman said that the Portofino is a real GT and 60,000 km at all no problem. I have shrugged there, because with my current (which I will sell) I would talk about reliability only from 160 tkm or 260 tkm and acknowledge this. Of course, I think about it for a Garan. the extension, because everything except the series must be extremely expensive at Ferrari. PS.: Nevertheless, I look forward to my Portofino already very bad!!

Quo vadis, sports car?
With electric cars, it is easy to achieve high performance. That’s why sports cars are probably highly electrified in the future. However, the higher the performance, the faster the battery is empty. And that’s a conflict of goals that cannot be solved at the moment. Fat batteries have a high weight, and that’s why the curve speeds and braking performance are not going to carry any 750kg of batteries in the foreseeable future, as the Tesla Model S has. And even with often high power output on a race track at about 80% power output of the 500kW engine power with its 100kWh battery only about 15 minutes drive, i.e. hardly 40km range. That will probably not be enough for sports cars as we know and expect them.

Which car is this?
Hi, the last time I met a dark red sports car two times, with a very special body. Was it first certain it was a Ferrari but I can’t find anything that looks like that now. It looks very new, a sports coupé, quite large dimensions and the rear looks like a drop in the wind, the tail lights too. Someone an idea what that can be?

Find someone who has a sporty car and wants to take me with him
Hello Motor-Talker, The title is maybe a bit stupid, so here explains again: I (23) am still a relative beginner, still still in the trial period, but since I have discovered the love for cars, especially fast cars. Since I don’t really come to the pleasure with my old mill to be properly squeezed into the seat, I thought, I ask here if not someone from the room NRW, with corresponding car, sometimes I like as idriver to take the AB. Tank filling and coffee would of course go to me. Rejoice me if someone agrees to say hello trial time

Which gas station carries mineral oil 20W50
It was Friday. It was Saturday. Then it was Sunday. The BMW R100GS needed blood in its veins. Mineral oil 20w50. Needs no modern car today. Whether car or motorcycle. 7 petrol stations of different brands approached. Result: always annoyed the same picture: on turnover trained nice looking female being at the cash desk. With NULL expertise to the ÖL. With zero knowledge about product range of the tank. Exception: “I get the boss. Moment Please”. loudly, “We only carry synthetic oil. The best.” Until he listened and understood that there was the other customer standing before him. His face flashed short, when I held the oil can from his shelf in front of him with the text on it: “…made of mineral oil…”. His expertise became fleeting. Therefore the question here in the round: Which of the many gas stations with brand name or free tank leads mineral 20W20 And abroad Europe? I took mineral 15W40. Result Oil Thank you in advance.

Charging my battery?
Hello together, someone can tell me how I can measure whether my battery will be properly charged in the built-in condition while driving. I have a 19AH GEL battery. I had it loaded with charger. In the moped this was then after good warm-up (about 40km) and subsequent service life of 3-4 days, again as good as empty. The spare parts specialist at Louis told me that the R1200RT would also consume a lot of power with the detonated ignition key, so that the battery after 1 week I can’t really understand, but maybe the battery is not so great anymore. Switching battery on suspicion is not so cheap. Let’s see who has experience.

Recommended purchase R850R or R1100R
Hello, after 34 years of Japanese and Italians I want a BMW now. Ride almost only for two and my wife finally wishes for a bike on which she sits well. In the eye I have a R850R or R1100R. BJ 1996 – 2003 can cost up to 3500 €. My questions. I read that both models are almost equally difficult. Is that true? It doesn’t matter to me on the lawn but cozy glide there on day trips. What for a 850 he speaks what for a 1100 he ? Greeting from Heidelberg Rainer
