BMW GS 1100 Problem
Hey, I bought a BMW GS 1100 Ez: 1995 with 85 tkm. after 50 kilometers I stopped, stuttered briefly and then she went out and didn’t get to run anymore. Again ADAC called and they measured some things. Did not find any fault. alternator loaded 14,2 volts everything so perfectly. So back to the W erkstatt. Mechanic said he must look at what it is, but does not know such a problem. If it stands longer so 1-2 std then it goes on again, after a time it stutters short and goes out. The mechanic said that can already cost 500 – 800 euros, I put on it: what is then with the 350 euros from before. Thought the error is fixed and yet not, and now I have to pay again ?? How does it look the , I have to pay 600 – 800 euros again ? He thought that only the battery is defective t , but you don’t know ^^ paid for the Batt 140 Euro , so 210 Euro for syncronizing and setting V-belts ?? Is really much too expensive ? This is done under 1 std . And for the V-belt set and 2 cylinders Syncronize + new Batt insert 350 Euro is already a juicy price And someone knows what else it could be that the machine does not run as it should ?

Neutral switch
Hello guys, I have a R 1100 RT from 2000. It’s actually a quite reliable machine, but there are some mucks in it that come back again and again. My current problem: The display for idle (green neutral lamp) comes delayed or not at all. I already had to fix twice, that was not exactly cheap. The problem is, if I want to start the bike and the neutral lamp is not there, then I can only start with pulled clutch. One of you can tell me where this neutral switch is located and how to expand/exchange/repair the most skillfully. I would be grateful for a help. Greeting Dirk

hello people since recently I read through here and think..hope you can help me. I drive an Xj 600 diva 1993 4BRA, all in all I am very happy with the machine up to the 6 gear which is very loud, as if there would be something loose, fast vibrating noise, you can hear it at low speeds so up to 4500 from then go again or you just can hear the whole because everything else is louder( helmet driving wind…) all 6 gears can be wonderfully switched without any hack en or so and let yourself drive beautifully permeable if you know this avenue from the sixth overheard jemmand this problem? is the gearbox down? can the oil lie down have a normal car oil inside( mineral 15-40) mfg

Driver alarm button available?
Hello, Is there actually something for taxi drivers like an alarm button like for example with money transporters, that in an emergency can be called uncomplicated help? Could I imagine that if I taxi drivers would be uncomfortable with some passengers more often and there would be such a button nevertheless a certain security. If yes, there is also this as a silent alarm and “loud” alarm where maybe the horn concerns or similar?
