My little one (ZX9R Bj.98) has a massive power hole between 7000 and 9000 rpm.My 9er was a “grey import” i.e. according to my dealer, it is more different. But have now a “German” engine in it but still the “old” carburettors i.e. there were 150 jets in it and my dealer told me that in the German version 155er in it we have also changed. But still does not work. Now we want to change the carburettor needles (the “significantly” They are supposed to be thinner) but cost 18€ per piece !! Do you have an idea?

Winter break past, mill doesn’t start
Last year I bought a Gpz 500, which had stood for 2 years. So I cleaned the tank and the petrol lines, cleaned and synchronized the carburettor Utrasound, had the valves adjusted, a new starter had to be set in, was made, of course also oil and candle changes, but unfortunately my babe always only ran on a cylinder when starting, the idle was also never quiet and d only ran safely with 14-1500tours. Now after the winter break the second cylinder went on after about 300m and on that day it ran well. On the second day the same thing: cylinder at after 100m, then I cleaned the machine, chain clean, oiled, etc…, the machine sprayed with water and that was it. After that it went out at the first traffic light. After 5min again, I drove a little highway, with 11000 tours, so that it gets a little warm, but as soon as the tours under 150 0 fell out again a cylinder. I then put it to dry into the sun, but it no longer starts. Now my questions: 1. Where did water come in here (I did not spray the engine, only the cooling), so that the mill no longer starts? 2. Why does always a cylinder go away? Spark plugs I have already changed twice, the pipes that lead to the candles also give impulses, can it still be the ignition??? My problem is that I no longer have to use a cylinder. a workshop can go, because the machine cost me my last money, alone 500 euros in November for the whole engine shoot. Who can help me?????

Bad performance!! Ask for advice!!
Hi guys, first I wish you an accident and fall-free seson beginning. Got a problem right at the beginning. My baby runs net so right. After the winter break during inspection everything was done and the carburetor was set and synchronized. After that I was at Seson beginning at POLO and there was performance test done. With me it gave 145 hp. Everything nice and good but was on the road today, wanted to drive the machine fully out and she has been ticking. In 6 gang Vol. lgas and it doesn’t even make 200 km/h and stutters temporarily??? Why was it recently re-set? What could it be on? With me is sports exhaust and K&N filter installed, is this due to filters? Greeting Bumer

Supermoto VEHICLE TIPS
Dear Supermoto friends! Last summer I fulfilled my absolute dream and got a 640 Supermoto. At the first inspection the carburetor was optimized (about 60 HP) and later I had a 16er pinion installed. The part is the absolute hammer!!! But who am I telling this… Despite several kilometers I could not take the great respect for my steam hammer yet. Especially in terms of slanting, roundabout and narrow curves I do not drive so yet, What are your experiences about this? Do you have any tips on how to overcome my inner “pig dog”? I would be very grateful for some tips and suggestions!

Maserati GranTurismo – everyday fitness, service and more
Hello dear forum community, wanted to ask how it is to buy a Maserati GranTurismo as a first car. Background to the question is that a colleague drives a 997 Carrera S as a everyday car and I wanted to do the purchase originally (though without the “S”, but then came across the GranTurismo and now can’t really tear myself away from it anymore. I thought that if a 911 is suitable for everyday use, the GT could be too. It offers even more space than e in 911 and is even more comfortable (i.e. more suitable for long distances). In terms of price, it is also similar and far from being as uncompromising as a Ferrari with 2-3 years old used cars. However, could the higher fuel consumption and the maintenance costs speak against. But otherwise? Fully winter-friendly? And what about the reliability of the newer Maseratis (QPV, GT, GC)? In the past Italian cars had a bad reputation, but by now they are supposed to be A colleague has had his Alfa Romeo 159 for several years and has never broken anything. In addition, what about the service, the guarantee, the average customer treatment (workshop etc.)? Is the brand for you there or does it only matter to them on the sale and after that you are on your own? Sorry for the confusion and the question-cross-and-cross.

Honda Jazz reliable??????
Hello, here’s a question from one who doesn’t like cars, but now needs one for pure transport! How reliable and expensive is a Honda Jazz? The vehicle is driven about 10000 – 15000 km, 90 % long distance and is only used for transporting equipment or 2 bicycles! The rest of the time, about 9 months the vehicle will be standing somewhere on the road and neither moving nor washing, it is just a utility object! Rhanden: ABS, airbags, ESP everything else like e.g. climate, radio, window lifter interest me absolutely zero!

Your greatest shock experience
I drove a road to an industrial area where Rollsplit lay. When I was abbog I suddenly heard a loud grinding and squeaking noise on a slow drive. Almost close to the heart casper I stopped and peeked at what was going on. An employee from a car dealership came out and asked if he could help. He meant that they already had something because of the roll split. And actually: Between the brakes and the sheet metal there were stones hanging. When these were gone everything was w I thought something had broken What was your biggest shock experience so far? cu Willy

MAN Pritarder – Experience Durability?
Hello, vehicle is an 8×4 construction vehicle. D26 engine with Pritarder (so it’s a water retarder that is flanged at the front of the crankshaft). Does anyone have (long-term) experience with the Pritarder from MAN? I think we all agree when you say that the Pritarder system has an unsurpassed and unique braking characteristic due to the direct motor speed dependence. But what about the durability? I have already read a few relevant posts here in the forum. . Basically, the Pritarder in the MAN’s seems to be rather vulnerable. Is it really the case that the things smoke after a maximum of 100,000km? The vehicle described above now has the 400,000km full and on time a Pritarderundichte announces itself (probably a torn rubber membrane which ensures that the pressure on the balance tank goes). And what would be the solution here? Persevere on the engine brake and accept an increased brake wear? rather than investing in a new Pritarder… I’m looking forward to your contributions. Thank you in advance for any helpful answer! EDIT: Ohso, the vehicle is built in 2009. I only mention this because the Pritarder have been improved in between (allegedly).
